I've spent the majority of my life tilling the desolate land in which I live. Every day, I wake up to move useless rocks from one location to another. This is an archaic line of work that my family has clung to for generations. It is a dull, grey existence.

Today, I have woken up in a strange room, lying in a bed that isn't mine. I'm surrounded by five mares whom I've never seen in my life. They claim to be my friends, and expect me to bring joy to the hearts of everypony.

Joy? I don't think I've ever experienced this for myself, so how am I supposed to thrust it upon others?

Rarity has fallen hard for the lavender mare from Canterlot, but there is just one problem, that certain mare from Canterlot is completely oblivious to it all. Twilight Sparkle is called to Canterlot Castle where something has happened to Princess Luna that has reverted her to a weakened state, she has to live with Twilight whilst she recuperates her magic.

The descent into madness is normally supposed to be uncomfortable, if common opinion is to be trusted. I'm also pretty sure it's suppose to take a while, hence the whole "descent into madness" idea, as opposed to "plummeting at high speed into madness." Well, neither of those things apply to me, and i'm pretty sure I just went crazy. I mean, I always thought I was crazy in that creepy loser sort of way, but this goes a little beyond that.

See, i've got Discord in my house all of a sudden. And in the world of sane people, cartoon kid's show villains aren't suppose to just arrive in your house. They aren't supposed to talk to you. They aren't supposed to tear dimensional gaps in your house. And they, most of all, are not supposed to occasionally want to cuddle.

Guess I failed at going insane. Bummer.
