Anonymity is a concept of hiding one's true self and keeping it secret.

Someone anonymous has no identity that one can claim to be his/her own. They are living shadows. Mysterious, tangible shadows.

To Anonymous this is not simply a word or a concept. It is a lifestyle.

He came to Equestria by an accident. His mystery facinates and frightens. Nothing is known of him, and never will, if he has a say in the matter. However... There is one thing that kind of breaks this mysterious ruse...

He is not right in the head... Hilarity/insanity should ensue... Hmmm... Hmmm...

Mort, also known as the Pale Pony (of Death), has been tasked to take time off from his rigorous duties of reaping souls. Seeking guidance, he is directed towards the town of Ponyville, to learn about the magic of friendship from Twilight Sparkle and her friends. All he needs to do is keep his true nature a secret. That shouldn't be too difficult...right?

A soldier trained since his youth to fight for honor and country finds that his world is racing towards its own end. While exploring the ruins of a once grand city, he finds himself in a world similar to his long before the war errupted. Can he use his skills to end a war before it begins and find himself a new life, or will he be rejected from this new place called "Equestria" and be treated as an outcast?

The Songbird, protector of the lamb of the flying city of Columbia was thought dead. Though as it would soon discover, his charge was not the only being able to open the mysterious tears. In the forest of this new land, he finds peace with the native animals. However, the urge to protect something, anything, would soon drive him to respond to the cheerful whistling of an equine with a penchant for protecting creatures like him, no matter how foreign they appeared.

We’ve read it all before; human ends up in Equestria, meets ponies, etcetera... but what if it wasn’t the ponies they met and befriended first? What if it was another creature, say... the timber wolves?

After losing his way in the Forest of Dean, Jack Masterson finds himself in the magical world of Equestria with no clue how he can get back. After fleeing from the truly surreal sight of our favourite ponies, he finds himself back in a forest... and this time, he's not alone...

Meanwhile, trouble is brewing in Canterlot as Prince Blueblood works on his latest scheme to ruin the inhabitants of Ponyville. Will he achieve his revenge on the Mane Six, or will he fail yet again?

Not really inspired by anything in particular, so if you see similarities between this and another story, you're probably paranoid, unless I mention any references. Rated teen because the main character, while not based on myself, shares my fondness for swearing occasionally.
EDIT: this story now has a Dark tag, as one of my plot-points took an unexpectedly dark turn. I'm also considering switching it to a Mature content as a later plot-point might get darker still.

John’s life had taken a turn for the worse since he moved from the bustling city of Los Angeles to a quiet mountain town named Dewford. He had expected a change of scenery and a calmer state of living.
That was not the case, as he’s had to deal with racist citizens, money problems, and several people who won’t get off his back. Life had gone wrong so far. Now he has to deal with a strange hippie girl with a butterfly tattoo. John just hopes this new addition doesn’t complicate things further.

Spontaneity may make an alicorn of order hesitant, but once giving it a chance, Celestia comes to find that it can liven up your world in a new and wonderful way.

An astronaut finds himself in the Astral Plane after his ship's reactor melts down. Many people think horoscopes are a joke, but this astronaut finds out just how real they are.

This is an Anonymous in Equestria story. If you have a problem with stories being in second person and the main character being called Anonymous, please, by all means, leave now.

After some pressure from her sister, Princess Luna decides to join up for a dating website in order to meet a nice pony and settle down. Who she finds, however, has more in common with her than you would think.

Teen for sexual themes and a bit of adult humour.

Contains a large portion of ridiculousness and shenanigans. Caution is advised.
