Many people have dreams. Some have small dreams that are easily accomplished, and they are satisfied with it. Others have dreams so big it requires a lot of time and effort to accomplish it, but many do so if they have the conviction.

One such stallion has actually bent the laws of time and space to travel between realities just to accomplish this. He just wants one success after the millions of years he's tried. He is currently at his fifty-fifth try.

This is the prequel to the story I'll write in the future called 'The Weary Traveler'.

He is older than many stars in the galaxy, and yet he endures the torture. Many times he has tried, and every time he has failed. Every timeline he visited suffered the same fate under different circumstances. All to help 'his' kind defeat the one enemy nopony has managed thus far in any timeline. With technology that seemingly defies the laws of physics and resembles magic to many, the Weary Traveler is determined to help 'his kind' push forward.

In the wake of this, the princesses and the Elements of Harmony are thrust between two worlds completely alien to them and have to make a decision on how to carefully approach this...pony. His offers are confusing, leaving Celestia as the sole decider for the potential future of not just her ponies, but the rest of the world. How is a pony to decide for the whims of what could be seen as a god by many?

This is his fifty-eighth try.

Luna has been considering the matter for a while, and she can't put her hoof on why. Confused and growing increasingly irritated, she goes to her sister in search of enlightenment.

Set between the season six finale and A Royal Problem.

To any human that has found this book, I hope that you never have to experience the events that I did as I was ripped from our world and into this one. If you do end up in Equestria then hopefully this book can help you in your attempts to integrate into the new world that you have arrived into. The fact that you are reading this in the first place shows that you have the time and dedication needed to translate Equestrian into English (most likely using the convenient translation guide in the back of the book). This book may just save your life.

To any ponies reading this book. I ask that you enjoy the experience of witnessing your own culture through the eyes of an alien. A being from a world vastly different from the one you know. Don't worry though, I mean no harm. Like you, I am just a pony struggling to find a place in this world. If my experience makes it easier for another then it is my duty to share it with the world. You might even enjoy your time reading it.

Set only a week after the banishment of Princess Luna to the moon, the realm of Equestria is in a state of upheaval. Celestia's royal guard attempt to regain control over the vast empire once ruled by dual monarchs, and the young alicorn's actions as a ruler have become a subject of scrutiny after her sister's attempted coup. Two factions have risen in the turmoil: The Knights of the Sun and The Bright Moon.

Far away from the political infighting and sword rattling exists a small mining town on the outskirts of Equestrian territory. Where once the royal guard would have no trouble fending off raids from bandits or other criminals, the panic of the capitol has caused a withdrawal of military forces to more essential cities and trading ports. Completely undefended and without a spell or sword amongst them, this town was soon overrun by a band of bi-pedal canines calling themselves the Diamond Dogs. As brutal as they are lazy, the Diamond Dogs have forced the local population to work until collapse to collect gems from the town mine.

Outraged by his inability to fend off these bandits and thieves, a young unicorn named Bone Marrow tries with all of his might to find his purpose in life - his cutie mark - and hopes that it will be enough to drive off the invaders of his home. He will soon discover that his special talent is far more than he bargained for.

This story is a sequel to How many friends have you made today?!

Things are a lot better for Anon since the events of Ponyville. His store is doing great and he enjoys the company of all his friends. As the days go on, he finds that the problems of the past are quick to haunt him as he is forced to face the one thing that hurt him the most.

Anon likes his life to be simple. He wakes up, goes to work and sometimes gets himself a good book to read while he is home. It's a routine that he likes to follow, it makes him feel like he has a bit of normality with his life in Equestria. The fact that having Celestia come crashing into his home as part of his routine should prove that his life is anything but normal.
