Twilight Sparkle is called upon to negotiate trade arrangements with the griffons. Of course, all her friends join her for what should be a casual pleasure cruise in the airship Canvas Streak. After all, this is her first REAL test as a princess, and why shouldn't they support her?

Late one night, though, Applejack feels restless and goes up on deck to watch the stars. She considers her life. She considers her family. She considers her friends. She considers the freak storm approaching from the south.

In retrospect, it might have been better to let the crew handle that and head back below deck.

Now alone on a small island, Applejack must survive and wait for her friends to come pick her up... even though the freak storm is blocking them off. Surviving's easy. Waiting's easy too! She can do this.

Princess Celestia, in her infinite wisdom, comes to the conclusion that she doesn't have anywhere near enough time to do everything on her busy schedule. Not a problem for her, though. The solution to having no time is obvious: just make some more.

Twilight Sparkle is fed up of her unrequited love for Rainbow Dash. She has decided that the time has come to reveal the passion she has kept hidden for so long - but how? There is only one sane, logical way to do this.

She must become a cloud.

Nothing can go wrong.

Celestia has had enough of half-arsed promises from her loyal subjects. It's time to wear a different hat.

Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash are up to their usual antics when they choose Applejack as their next victim for pranking. However, one slip-up makes everything take a detour to tragic proportions. This oneshot is also told by the POV of Pinkie Pie, and following chapters will be told from third-person perspective.
