2. It was a different airship.
3. They can't land where you are and are going to go get help that can.
As for your leg, does it feel unusually warm? Painful? Swollen? Discolored? Because you may be in worse trouble than you realize...
In any case, keep it together as best you can. As long as someone saw your signal, there will be an investigation... eventually.

Well Ms. Element of Honesty, time to be honest. They're leaving you on that island on purpose. How could they not have seen that? How could they not have seen you? They don't care about you.
You give them such generousity for your hard earned apples, such kindness in allowing them on your farm, even when they impede your livelyhood, such laughter in times where you spare time to be with them, such loyalty in standing against ancient threats, and all through the magic of friendship, that you sacrificed to help maintain.
And they just leave you. In your greatest time of need, they couldn't be bothered to strain their necks to look down to your prison.
They betrayed you. The traitorous bastards.
Just like how that damn traitor of a leg distracted you. Had you not been focused on that warmth, you'd have spotted the airship soon enough to where the crew would have seen you, and saved you. But that leg has once again got in the way. That leg won't stop! It has to go before it destroys any other possible hopes for safety that you have left!

AJ? Listen to me. Just sit down, take ten deep breaths and think about this.
Did the fire smoke? Smoke can be seen far during the day, while a fire can't. During the night smoke can't be seen, but a fire can be seen from far away.
What time of day was it and did the fire smoke?
Did you recognize the airship? Was it the one you flew in on?
If it wasn't the airship you flew in on, was it smaller or bigger? A small airship could indicate that it was privately owned and that they are going back to report what they saw to the authorities. I honestly don't know what a bigger one would mean.
If it wasn't your airship, then it is possible that they don't have enough pegasi to carry you off of the island and they are unable to land or get close enough to the ground to let down a rope ladder, if they have one.
If you were spotted, then rescue is on the way. Just hang in there.
