In a world where technology has freed everypony from toil and strife, the Eternal Carnival goes on. Posing as a normal organic pony, Turing Test is a freed Familiar who joins the Carnival to seek out new meaning in her life without a master.

After over a year together, Maud Pie is finally introducing Turing Test, her robot girlfriend, to her parents. The real problem: her traditionalist parents have the final say on her partner, and now she and Turing only have until Hearth's Warming Day to win the Pie family's approval. If they fail, then the only Hearth's Warming gift they'll be receiving is heartbreak.

A young filly is working far from home for the first time in the city of Manehattan. She's eager to go home for Hearth's Warming to see her family... but when her career is on the line, she may have to make a tough choice.

Gadget is a child prodigy, an inventor, an earth pony, and the youngest employee to ever work at Vanderbull Industries. With boundless energy and a quartet of mechanical arms to assist her in the delicate work normally reserved for unicorns, she intends to prove herself to her mentor: minotaur industrialist Cornelius Vanderbull. However, doing so might mean spending Hearth's Warming alone, away from her family for the first time in her young life.

The stupidly-named holiday side story to The Iron Horse: Everything's Better With Robots!

Robot pony Turing Test learns about Hearth's Warming and decides to get a gift for Twilight and Spike to show her gratitude for all they've done for her, but she wants to do something special. No gift cards, socks, or box of sugar plums will do for this robot! To find the ultimate gift for her first Hearth's Warming, she'll go to the ends of Equestria!

A damaged robot pony, unlike anything ever seen in pre-industrial Equestria, is found in the orchard. Before it collapses, it says only two words: "Twilight Sparkle..."

Twilight fixes the mechanical mare and gives her a new directive: "Make friends." Now a robot must learn what it takes to be a good friend and, while she's at it, what it means to live...
