This story is a sequel to Finding Home

Short stories that expand on ideas I didn't fully explore or ended up cutting from Finding Home. Sequels, prequels and expansions to Finding Home. Mostly short stories.

Cover art is by reiduran.

A lot can change in ten years. You and your friends grow up, move on, and return. For Sunset Shimmer, something else happened. She lost her way back to her homeland. She returns to Canterlot High on a futile quest to see if the portal to Equestria has returned. Instead, she finds herself catching up with her former principal... for better or for worse.

Sunset Shimmer has been worrying her friends of late. It had started off as her talking around the subject of home. Then outright avoiding it.

It isn't that her friends want to have a sleepover at her place, or have her host a Pinkie Party. They're just worried. Sunset does have somewhere to call home right? A roof over her head and a warm place to sleep?

EQG. Set after Friendship Games and before. Takes plot points from the comic special. Notes per chapter as needs must.

Just a story I wrote trying to escape writers block on other projects. It sort of ran away with me. Name comes from this track, but it didn't have much influence on the story. In need of cover art if anyone can point me to something good.

Now with cover art from Novel-Idea, designer of the fine image now applied.

Sunset Shimmer ran away. There's really no other way to say it. One can call it exile, tactical retreat, or even a permanent change in residence, but the facts are the same. She turned her back on the only reality she had ever known, and ran away. By the time she stopped to look back, the damage was done. It was too late. Celestia would never forgive her. She would never forgive herself.

There's someone else who will, though.

This story is a sequel to Virga

A Twin Canterlots anthology—first of The Campus series.

So much can happen in fifteen years. Seven young women proceed through university and start out on careers. An unlikely new ruler and a council of friends grow into their roles. Both ends of a magical portal that connects two worlds are uprooted and moved, as carefully as mature trees, to new locations. One is in a wing of the rebuilt Ceremonial Palace, made over for the purpose. The other is on the Campus.

Background and an information packet are available.

Hit “Popular Stories” and (briefly) the featured box the day after publication! Holy moley! :pinkiegasp:
