Rainbow Dash had always acted rough and tough, and that's how she liked it. Always the strongest in the group, fitting in perfectly with the colts and stallions. Until a Wonderbolt named Soarin came along and turned that all upside down.

The Wonderbolts are visiting Ponyville for the week. They are going to be performing their usual stunts, tricks and racing in the local area, bringing their usual events in Canterlot to Ponyville.

But Soarin, one of the Wonderbolts, is searching for a mare he described as "cute" in a photo he had taken at the royal wedding in Canterlot. Although this search doesn't get in the way of his way of life as a Wonderbolt, he feels as if he should find that mare.

Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash had been training hard to impress the Wonderbolts on their visit but feels as if her skills don't meet the Wonderbolts standards.

Will Soarin and Rainbow Dash achieve their goals?

The mares of harmony were living in peace. No more mean discord, Nightmare moon is no more, and the Crystal empire is safe once more. But an unexpected change happens.
"Are you KIDDING ME?!!"
"...No...?"
These mares are expecting weird changes. And by weird, I mean Alicorn weird.
"Ooh! A horn! I have a HORN! This is SUPERCALAFRAGILISTICEXPIALADOCIOUS-"

RD has been born an alicorn, and she's very confused about life in general. She's never eaten an apple, never gotten a cutie mark, never have even known about The Wonderbolts. She does all of these for the first time with hurdles in the way.

Princess Celestia has called Twilight Sparkle and her friend Rainbow Dash to meet her in at the castle. Unsure of why they are the only ones called to there they make haste for Canterlot. What must she tell them that the rest of their friends don't get to hear? How might this change their outlook on their ways of life? And how will they react when they hear the knews? Only one way to find out.

After the Canterlot Wedding Soarin', one of the famous Wonderbolts, starts to take a liking to the pony who saved his pie, Rainbow Dash. He and Dash have now been dating for 6 months. Soarin is ready to get serious in the relationship, but is dash?

Chapter 1: Meet the Parents Rainbow Dash has a brilliant idea: since she hasn't seen her parents in awhile, why not bring her new boyfriend with her to visit them? Unfortunately for Soarin, this means meeting her father and mother (Firefly). Will the Wonderbolt survive the visit? Will I ever learn how to do comedy? There is a single yes and a no between these two important questions.

Chapter 2: Meet the Scootaloo Soarin unexpectedly finds himself introduced to Rainbow Dash's number one fan, Scootaloo, and once again finds himself learning a bit about Dash's world. Warning: Might make you squee.

“Dashie, you can talk to me about anything. Problem at the academy? What is it?”
She looked him squarely in the eyes. “Soarin, I’m really not sure if this is normal… and I don’t want to sound stupid… But…”

Just because you're friends doesn't mean everything works out all fine and dandy. What happens when a unforeseen hiccup puts a new strain on Soarin and Rainbow Dash's relationship? An old acquaintance with only the eyes for a certain blue flier enters town? An early and unexpected meeting with a certain parental figure?

Issues, that's what.
But hey, what's life without a few curve-balls every now and then?
A sequel to 'Friends have Benefits'

After a long stretch of time, Soarin is finally able to get to talk to Rainbow Dash (with the persuasion of some friends). They spend time together, and he finally realizes that he might have a chance to be with the pony of his dreams. But when the threat of war begins to hang over Equestria, will they be able to maintain their new feelings, or be swept away in the fighting?

So this is my first fanfic. Ever. I appreciate all constructive criticsm, sugggestions, questions, etc. This story will take time to develop into the war story, so just be patient. Also, if you give a thumbs down, please say why. I am not a writing expert, so I am always looking for ways to improve!
