Button Mash has lived in Ponyville for a few months now. Still has no friends, his father is always gone for business trips, his big brother left long ago to join the guard, and now it's usually only him and his mom. His mother tries to talk him into having friends, but he knows all he needs is his joyboy and nothing else. After standing up to a certain, harsh duo of bratty fillies, the Cutie Mark Crusaders want to get to know Button Mash a bit more after seeing him stand up to them.

Ok for everyone here, yeah I know that this pairing is VERY common, I get it. But all of the ones I read put them together right off the bat. If it where a bit more realistic, they would warm up to each other first. So I decided to write my own story of it how I think it might look like. Just so everyone knows, I am not writing this for you guys, I am writing this because I want to and I think a couple of you might like it as well. I did not plan this, I didn't brain storm this, this is my pleasure only and for fun. I write this while I am learning how to be better, so writing styles may change. Hope some of you guys enjoy it, this will be a little long just so you guys know. (P.S. Wtf why isn't Button Mash on the list of character selection?! That hurts me!) Also on a side note, I feel ashamed that I do not have proof, but this story reached the special featured box. The reason why no one saw it is because it was at 1:30 in the morning and it got taken off the list after it was there for 5 minutes I was so heart broken that day. Anyway, so if that get's any credit, it was there if it counts

One of Sweetie Belle's closest friends, Button Mash, is leaving Ponyville behind, heading for a new home. But Sweetie wont let him go just yet, not with out one last Goodbye. With only moments to spare before Button bids his final farewell, what will Sweetie say to him?

Sweetie Belle has a crush on Button, and for the past couple days she's been stalking him. Waiting to find the right time to confess her love.

It's buttons first week in ponyville and hearts and hoofs day has just come up. Button doesn't really care about this holiday and wants nothing to do with it but button is getting second thoughts after he meets with a white coated filly named Sweetie Belle. What will button do in this loving holiday.

Button's life so far can be summed up as 'Eat. Sleep. Game.' This begins to change when the new school year starts.

My name is Button Mash and I like video games. I have this bad habit of playing before doing "important" stuff like homework and sleeping. One time I even took it so far as to not sleep at all the night before school started. Can you really blame me though? I was so excited I couldn't sleep.

Button Mash has always liked Sweetie Belle. She was fashionable, yet not afraid to get dirty. She was smart, but enjoyed to play video games with him. Sweetie Belle has had a crush on him since they first hung out. Both have been afraid to show their feelings, but on Hearts and Hooves Day, they decide to show each other what they truly mean to each other.

Button Mash and Sweetie Belle decide to play Minecraft.

So of course, Minecraft decides to start spouting out of the computer and turning Button's house into hundreds of blocks, hostile mobs are spawning in his home and roam free, he has no idea when his mom is getting home, Sweetie Belle has no idea what she's doing, and as if that wasn't enough...

Button has absolutely no idea how to reverse this.

Totally normal day, right?

Inspired by the popular video Don't Mine at Night as well as a 90's movie called Jumanji while also paying homage to an 1879 opera called "Pirates of Penzance" in the form of an (attempted) song parody.

Nearly 3 years after being married, Sweetie Belle is almost ready to give birth to her and Button Mash's first child. Just how will the new-born parents handle their new challenge of life, being parents.

As Hearts and Hooves Day came closer and closer there was a bit of youth love flowing throughout the air. Sweetie Belle and Button Mash have noticed each other at school and around town. But the question remains, do they want to be more than friends?

The Cutie Mark Crusaders decide they need to expand their numbers, but things quickly go awry when their first target begins sobbing on the spot. Sweetie Belle soon finds herself roped into hanging out with the young colt.

Can Sweetie Belle see past the young colts weirdness and allow friendship to bloom? Can Button Mash fake enough normal behavior to make at least one friend? Will these two hit it off, or are Button’s only friends destined to be the ones in his video games, forever?
