The Canterlot High Halloween party is a longstanding tradition. And often a bit of a dud, but who expects quality entertainment from a school, anyway? But with the wild year that's passed them by, Principal Celestia enlists the help of Pinkie Pie to make this Halloween party the best one yet. It will be fun, it will be frightening, it will be the best party she's ever conjured! Armed with her expertise and the help of her friends, even preparing the festival is sure to be a blast.
After all, why shouldn't everything about a party be fun?

Maud tries to escape the pain and loneliness of loss. Nothing seems to help her. She looks to her friend Starlight for help.

However, when Rainbow Dash tries to find out what has been causing the usually-bubbly girl to skip school, something that she would never do, she finds out a horrifying truth that both shocks her and terrifies her.

Mr.Sombra never thought that he'd get into a situation like this. After being transferred from Crystal Empire Academy to Canterlot High School, he figured his life would be the same, more or less.

Of course, when a pink haired student with the intention to make him feel welcome introduces herself, "same' is the furthest thing his life has become. Now he must fight his ever-growing feelings for her and contain his urge to act on them. And it was supposed to be over for him when she graduated that year.

But, what's he going to do when she drops in for a visit to bid him farewell?
