Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo were three very busy little fillies.
It had only been mere minutes since the three had gotten out of school, and their plates were already full. They had learned in school that their beloved teacher, Miss Cheerilee, was without a special somepony, and they refused to let that stand, especially on Hearts and Hooves Day. Their determination to find the perfect stallion for her had led them all over town. Each stallion they had run into had some manner of imperfection, and that was unacceptable when it came to finding the right stallion for Miss Cheerilee. With how great she was, she deserved nothing less than perfection in a special somepony. Thus far, though, their search had proven fruitless, even with the employment of a catchy little song on the subject.
"I don't think that we're mistaken," Bloom sang, looking a bit disappointed. "It seems all the good ones are taken." The three leapt towards a stack of hay bales, hopping their way up the structure.
"I really feel that at this rate, we'll never find the perfect date," Sweetie sang as they closed in on the top of the stack.
"Don't wanna quit and give up hope!" the three fillies sang together as they reached the top of the stack. Scootaloo then noticed a stallion out of the corner of her eye. The color scheme was immediately recognizable; it was Bloom's big brother, Big Macintosh. She smirked to herself. He was definitely worth asking.
"Doing anything special for Hearts and Hoo-" Scootaloo started. Then she stopped abruptly. The other two looked over to see what was the matter and quickly found themselves speechless as well. There behind the stack of hay bales was Big Macintosh, but he wasn't alone. Wrapped in his forelegs was a powder-blue unicorn mare, engaged in a rather deep kiss.
None of the fillies knew what to say. Bloom attempted to speak, but all that came out was a squeak. The squeak was still enough to call the attention of Sugarcoat, who pulled away from the kiss long enough to glare at them.
"This one's taken," Sugarcoat said simply.
"Eeyup," Big Mac agreed.
I should have been expecting that, but I hadn't. I really, really hadn't.
Oh snap
Well, looks like it's back to looking, girls.
Also, are you gonna do the Equestria Girls movies in this series? I'd just love a scene where Sugarcoat meets her past self and they get into a long, long discussion about things...
Wow, she finally convinced the big lug. Say hello to your new sister in law, Apple Bloom. I mean you were bouncing off the walls to have a new 4th cousin many times removed.

The original plan has been to just do the regular episodes of the show, but I've been considering what to do with the EqG movies. I'm thinking it might be easiest to leave them out, though, mainly because Sugarcoat knowing that there's a way back to her world before all the episodes are done might affect the episodes that come later.
Which also brings me to the fact that I think this story will be stopping after S5. Partially because we have no idea when S6 is starting, and partially because story-wise, it just seems fitting for what I have in mind. Although I guess if I go that route, I could always just write fun 'what if" chapters for the S6 episodes.
Shoulda seen that one comin'.
You know, I'm kinda hoping to see the fruits of all of Sugarcoats snark come to fruition here at like the end of Season 2.
I should have seen it coming what with all the Mac-chasing Sugarcoat has been doing, but I didn't. And of course, it's so obvious in hindsight
I've been looking forward to this chapter for so long!
I was secretly hoping that Sugarcoat would team up with the Crusaders to break the romance between Big Mac and Cheerilee! XD
Twilight's gonna be sad.
That's one complication sunk before it set sail. Now we shift focus to what she'll do around Hearths Warming a few seasons from now.

Well, on the plus side, she gets her library back(privacy is a nice thing sometimes).

I don't think it's come up in the story so far, but do the Mane 6 or anyone else know that Sugarcoat comes from another world? If not, then even when Twilight discovers the Mirror, Sugarcoat may not even get to hear about it if she doesn't happen to be in the Crystal Empire at the time or if none of them mention the event to her, which they probably won't as I always got the impression that the Mirror & it's portal to another dimension was a state secret.
6795104 always expect the unexpected
Oh, well there goes SugarLight. There's a reason I don't like Big Mac shippings, and this is just adding one to overdone. Eh, at least this one is done perfectly.
ooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh
That's the BEST kind of interference!
Well played, Twinkle. Well played.
Well, that begs the question; do the CMC find another stallion or give up and remain stupefied?
Good job, Sugarcoat!
I loved how perfectly straightforward the resolution of Sugarcoat's feelings toward Big Mac was. Suits her perfectly.
6795140 Or you could just go on hiatus until season 6 and do the episodes as they're aired.
I think it would be kind of interesting if Sugarcoat knew there was a way back, but that she was "in the past" relative to the human world. It would make sense to decide to wait until she's "caught up" with the EqG timeline. Especially since she's now got a strong reason to stay.
The "state secret" route works fine too, though.
Disappointing, if only because I wanted to see Sugarcoat go nuclear on the CMC after they feed Cheerilee and Big Mac a love poison
I still find it hilarious how quickly Sugarcoat went native though
6795140 First Equestria Girls. Sugarcoat learns Twilight went to the Human world and has a bad reaction to the discovery that she was that close to going home but missed it.
Rainbow Rocks. Sugarcoat goes through, and comes back when she realizes the date is too soon.
Friendship Games. Everyone is currently a little busy with the time loop problem.
Before reading: "Yes! The chapter everyone has been waiting for!"
After reading: "...Not quite what I was expecting but perfect nevertheless."
I saw the chapter word-count, realized that this was a CMC episode, thought it was short because Sugarcoat didn't want to deal with them... But nope, it's cause she got some of that Big Mac. Go Sugarcoat, she deserves a hoof bump. /)
Dang it! I wanted a Sweetie scream! Oh, come on!
I'm not going to Sugarcoat this...
Everyone's catching on that Sugarcoat's presence means they are about to be told how they did something wrong. I wonder if after a certain point Sugarcoat just being there will end up being enough for the Mane 6 to realize how foolish they've been acting that episode. Like, say, after Rarity's "AH LOVE BEIN' COVER'D IN MUD!" moment, she looks up and sees Sugarcoat silently staring at her, and Rarity says "You're right, how foalish of me." and apologizes to Applejack.

Herself, if she fails to prevent her other self from falling through the portal the second time Twilight goes batty during the events of Friendship Games.
Saving the day by just doing what you wanted to in the first place.
And you've got seasons to go until Marble anyway. Hehehehe.
6797468
...I may have to use that. I love it XD
And boom, there goes the SugarLight...
I'm not a fan of NTR, but Marble, girl, you better get working so Twi can help her friend cope with a breakup.
I hope this turns out to be a Sugarcoat/Mac romance/dating/marriage fic in the future sometime.^_^
Well finally!
