Rarity is alone on Hearts and Hooves Day, and she's not happy about it. A friendly afternoon in the park with Applejack promises to turn their friendship to something more – or at least it would, if either of them would simply talk to the other about it.
Between her awkward sort-of romance with Applejack, her desire to help Fluttershy find a special somepony of her very own, family, friends, and the general day-to-day chaos that is life in Ponyville, this fashionista's got her hooves full.

Want to read this, but don't know if I have to read the other stories first.
Another addition to the Winningverse? My day just got a whole lot better.
It is always really fun to read stories from Rarity's perspective, just because she seems to have a very unique and different outlook on life than I do. As a bonus, it is also generally extremely funny.
It is also very enjoyable to read RariJack. Their contrasting personalities can make for some very entertaining scenes, the second half of this fic being a prime example.
My favorite scenes have to be the spa scene, where Fluttershy's relationship with Cloud Kicker accidentally came up and you cringe at Rarity's ignorance of the gravity of what happened, and the scene where Applejack was very conspicuously jealous when she thought Rarity might be dating her brother. The emotion in those scenes was portrayed well and they really stood out.
Thank you for writing this, I'm thumbing it up and favoriting it, and I will be waiting eagerly for the next chapters.

1751448 Heh, I sort of feel the same but I already have a whole lot of stuff I need to finish first. I guess I'll just have to be satisfied with the little disconnected scene I wrote where my version of Blossomforth puts Kicker in a painful headlock after he hits on her.
Anyway, onto the real point the actual story. As everypony else said, Rarity here so so spot on it's great. The only thing you even could debate is her gayness, but that's cannon in the winningverse obviously. Even if it wasn't though this makes a good enough case by itself that she is anyway. This promises to be great fun throughout.

Yeah, pretty much what I figure. Being a fan of the Kinsey Scale take on sexuality, I'd say that most ponies (or people) rank as varying degrees of bi. I'd peg Rarity as mostly straight, but not capable of withstanding the force of Stupid Sexy Applejack.
1752977 Meh... I have a hard time giving credence to a lot of these studies, chiefly because observation changes the conditions, and therefor, the outcome.
I prefer to just let people be whomever they are. As long as they respect who I am in return, all is golden!

I still say this entire 'verse would be much better with AppleDash! But ah well. So far, this is definitely the best of the winningverse side-stories. The others lacked something, a certain je ne sais quoi of it. This... does as well, to be honest, but far, far less so than the others. Tracking, even though I hate myself for doing so. Where's my OTP dangit~
All right, so far so good! I've been wondering if somebody would write this, 'cause the Rarijack in Winningverse deserves more than just a blurb in Chapter Eight. Or was it Seven?

Another solid entry in the Winningverse! I was slightly worried at first with how Rarity's AJ blindness would be portrayed (the line about "It had nothing to do with some kind of supposed romantic interest I had in her." seemed a mite self-aware), but by the time we got to "Simply explain the matter so thoroughly and clearly that nopony could fail to see the truth.", I knew that this story will be a joy to read. Glad to see another author joining in on the 'verse!

So i FINALLY finish my 14 page term paper and jump on Fimfiction to find a new Winning-verse storyline up and it's Rarity and AJ AND it's Incedental Pegasus. Talk about a wonderful Prize for hard work.
Seriously your Rarity Characterization is fantastic, the swooning and self-denial and realization just made me smile throughout the story. Especially her timing her own Drama bursts.
I also like the intersecting story points with the winning verse of course but this new info about rarity out to help Fluttershy with her relationship problems, wonderful i practically can not wait to see how she played into the subtext of CK's Crazy world.
I am also greatly looking forward to the Party scene and taking a look at Rarity's scheming thought line to use CK to get AJ jealous.
As i have said before Winning-verse is Best Verse. And It just got even better.
