I would have continued with the next chapter today but I came home this morning to find my room full of water. For whatever reason the upstairs bathrooms main water line decided to bust so now i have to deal with cleaning and drying the floor, my dresser, and all of my clothes. Although its irritating as all hell I was extremely lucky none of my electronics were ruined, even my Oculus RS miraculously survived and it was directly under where the water leaked from. Thank you Oculus for your amazingly water resistant cardboard packaging case. If all this shit is dealt with by tomorrow and I'm not in a shitty mood I'll get a new chapter out. Peace pones.. {T}

Quite a lot of people don't like self inserts and this one is. It also seems that ascension is planned and hinted from the very beginning. So, it's not only self insert, but also potentially alicorn and the Element self insert. Not that it has to happen, but hints are there.
I don't mind these points, though. Just pointing out that they can easily turn away certain readers. And when people don't like something at all they just dislike and walk away. What is the point to leave a comment when there is no chance author will "fix" his story. Why bother?
BTW, by this logic liking something without leaving a comment is also trolling.
Not your life, but your ability to pick reliable tools, apparently. You could have used Google Docs or LibreOffice if you can't afford or don't want to buy MS Word. Hell, you could have used Notepad and still come out unscratched in case you have a habit to press Ctrl+S on autopilot. Everything else saves your text automatically at certain intervals. GDocs also protect you from losing your text in case of hardware failure. Same as Google Drive and similar services if you don't like GDocs. So, consider using proper tools next time. ;)
BTW, it's possible to undo closed tab. In some cases text remains after that.
I'm guessing that either you are taking the "three as one" approach to Alis (pronounced like al-ease) or that you are taking the approach that essentially without ascending you don't gain the immortality or the specialness off an Ali.

Hmmm.... never understood that point of view, really. Why hate a fic? Sure, I do not like to read M/M ROMAANCE focused stories. But I don't give dislike to them. I do read some, so long as they don't go full smut or give full descriptions of stuff. But those stories are rare. Sure, I don't like to read female PoV stories either, but that is mostly a preference of mine that sometimes I throw out of the window. But, again. I don't give dislike to those. Why do so? There is no point aside from... well, nothing really. Just helps in throwing negativity to the author and make readers that may like it just ignore the story.
We really need those SI tags... or CYOA tags... or maybe even SI-OC, or Isekai tags. Helps mitigate the hate to come.
Frankly, I'm happy that the likes have surpassed the dislikes by more than twice the amount. Happy for you my dude.
Funny thing, really. I was never one to "read" anything back on school days, and then. One day I went to deviantart because I liked the wallpapers I could find there. There... I made friends and one person asked me to read their story, and because I was their friend... I did. Then, they recommended me a story on a page called Fimfiction. I never even knew about fanfiction, didn't even though those things existed. Then, as years passed. My eyes grew open to the endless stories that are out there. Endless sources of entertainment.
Frankly, next is me rambling a lot. So... meh.
I have almost forgotten about your story my dude(not the plot thankfully), not because it was bad or anything, just... you know. Haven't really read after chapter 6. There is always something to read out there(there is always a new 20k+ words story being made daily and damn does it keeps my eyes moving), currently on "space battles" reading a unique story of that page that haven't found on Archiveofourown or Fanfiction. There is a gamer one that so far have broken beyond the plot, first story I have seen that have threw the plot out of the window just to be blow up.... then a unique take on one piece similar to This Bites. How to forget that story that seemed to have been made while smoking lots and lots of cocaine... did you know that DC have a villain that gets powered by cocaine(his costume have a mask made of marihuana with one leaf on the front) and the likes? I didn't till now.
But then again, we get those original stories too. Have taken to read this one about the "system" suddenly appearing and one dude gets to become the all mighty shovel knight. With another similar story but a more endless plot in my opinion.

I'm happy that the ratings are getting better but this is still kinda a stress relief kinda thing for me. Which is the main reason the updates are so random. I still have plenty of ideas for chapters, but no clue how they are going to end up getting to that point, I don't plan on leaving this unfinished for any reason even if ratings drop again.

I want to shine some perspective on this.
Because I have seen comments like yours, I was commenting on disliked stories. Giving my criticism. No disrespect, just why I disliked. I have been swarmed with many replies from authors and other users telling me I suck and I don't know what I am talking about. So I stoped. I dislike having my inbox or notifications spammed, so now I just live dislike and move on.
There is no use leaving a comment. I won't comeback for story, so why waste time? I also don't have much time to read, and there are so many other stories, that I simply don't need author to change his story, I would simply find another one.
But let's asume, that author will change premise of his story. Then it is CYOA, or other comment driven story. I don't like that. I have not yet found author, that changed his story and haven't burn out. Authors should write for themself, and sometimes it will click with audience, sometimes it won't. But when author don't write his story, but comment driven story, then it is quickly being cancelled or on eternal hiatus/incomplete. I have't found story, that started as an author idea (not CYOA), changed it whole premise (not just minor changes, but whole premise) under influence of comments, and remained still entertaining and/or active.
So that is it. That is why I only dislike.

I can understand that, I personally don't really care about the rating. I mainly write to just get focus on something other than stuff that's bugging me. It was a little disheartening at first but then I realized the rating didn't matter as long as I'm doing what I enjoy.
When you just have to do it to 'em.
Ok, I can see why that other person said this was clearly a sign he's getting an ascension later. but at least don't make him and the thief enemies ok? That just seems like it would be too forced. if you absolutely must just leave that char alone and never use him again in the story then that ok too. Just don't force the two into conflicts that never needed to happen ok?

Theory: Draconequuses do not always have the same form.
Evidence: Main character has chaotic magic that is unique to Draconequuses.
Main character does not have the same form as the Draconequus known as Discord.
Conclusion: Draconequus is a term used to describe any creature capable of controlling chaotic magic, however the reason for it being only ever seen used to describe Discord is because previously Discord was the only known Draconequus.
Secondary Theory: Ponies are nearly as idiotic as humans.
Evidence: They created a name for a species that has only had one known member in all of history.
Conclusion: What the fuck.
