Midnight Sparkle the alicorn... Why? This is a trope to me, you have to be an Alicorn to be powerful. I find it hard to believe that there was enough magical potential in SciTwi for her to split into a unicorn and an alicorn. Two unicorns of differing power levels? Sure, why not, and as we've seen in Penault's Bridle Path or the Cutie Remark, a unicorn can go toe to toe (hoof to hoof?) with an alicorn.
I think the Princess should've gotten more bondage up front. Heck, I can imagine Midnight muzzling everyone and Princess raising a hoof like a student for permission to speak. The muzzle is removed, but a cover put over her horn. No, the cover doesn't do anything to her magic, but Midnight doesn't know that, but Princess doesn't reveal that because she is honest about just wanting to talk.
How'd she make Twi so horny? I think it'd be fun to tie that to the bondage gear, anyone wearing it is automagically horny.
What's your thoughts on male subs? I'm a fan of the trans Dash headcanon, and wouldn't mind it showing up here, it could certainly lead to a friendship lesson in the story, one about acceptance. I picture Dash coming discreetly to MIdnight and offering herself, since I do love the sub Dash thing you've done before.
Hmmm, well, that's what I've got for thoughts and all, and I'm really looking forward to seeing where you go from here.

8079348 Midnight Sparkle is the side of Twi that embraced magic, embraced power, and was utterly devoted to finding out more about both. She became an alicorn by embracing her destiny completely.
As for the bondage, the only reason it didn't come straight to fisticuffs is because Midnight didn't actually attack and didn't assault a Princess and her friends. If Princess Twilight had perceived an actual threat to her friends, she would have used her own power. Yes, she would be able to overpower Midnight Sparkle, but she hardly wants a Tirek-level fight in the middle of her castle and Ponyville.
My thought on male subs is about the same as female, hermaphrodite, and agender ones.

It might not be so much a matter of power as of visuals: Twilight's Midnight alter ego has always been portrayed as having wings and a horn, so it makes sense for her to take the form of an Alicorn, regardless of personal power.
And glasses, of course.

8079918 Princess Twilight Sparkle herself said there is no spell she knows of that can change a pony's gender. Midnight Sparkle is more of an intuitive caster of magic. Doing the math for you, there is likely to be some gender shenanigans.

I'm not sure I'd call it fisticuffs, my thought is she's reacting to protect herself and only has human ideas of magic in mind, so silence them so they can't cast a spell. Likewise a horn cover would literally be that, not any kind of magic suppressant as she doesn't understand how Equestrian magic works. Its also rather obvious to Princess that this isn't really a threat, so she just negotiates rather than fighting back.
Hmmm, well, then see my above comment about trans Dash. Might be fun to have a reward for her in the form of chastity/hiding her male bits if she's a good girl.

8080216 It wasn't an even split. They were never even in power, Midnight embraced every facet of magic, while Twi rejected it (or observed it at best).
I do not consider them equal. Twi (in LoF) had trouble breaking through vines with her magic initially, yet Midnight (in FG) was blasting holes in reality. I really don't see the problem here, why can't they be unbalanced?
As for trans, it likely won't be that. I have a great respect for trans people, and avoid misusing that label as much as I am able. More just giving a mare a dick.

Oh I quite agree about the trans thing. The story in question actually takes it seriously and focuses on Dash being nervous about how others would react if they new the truth. This is much the same way, because ponies don't have any blatant gender characteristics, its only an intimate moment, whether with an individual or a group, when the truth would be revealed. As such, clop or erotic story is where the secret would be most likely to get out, so we have a situation where Mistress Midnight wants a group session, and Dash has to decide whether she trusts her (aren't BDSM relationships based on trust?) and her friends. This isn't so much about the sex but about her having to decide if she trusts her friends enough to reveal the truth to them.
And yes, I know you have your own plans for Dash in here, consider this a wish list of sorts.
This could easily be renamed Midnight Sparkle's Harem.

Midnight is an alicorn, not exactly common, and as such is considered quite a catch.
Midnight has little in the way of morals, except what she is learning from Twilight.
This was originally intended to be pure clopfic, I relented when plot started happening in my mind.

Honestly though, I do feel that Twi is getting the shaft here. We've had nothing on her side and she is painted as a bad guy because we've only had Midnights side through the story. Twi only treated Midnight like she did because she didn't know any better and was scared of her... plus I'm curious to know what's going on on Twi's side of things. Poor girl is probably lonely, and I don't even mean sexually, it seems like Midnight is taking over in every regard, like Twi hasn't even really gotten to interact with the others much.
Also, I know this follows the Twilight trio more than anything, but I reeeeeeeally wanna know what's goin on with Pinkie and Rainbow lol you established that they're marefriends now right? I love me some pinkiedash/rainbowpie so I'd love more of them lol

Err..."wer" is an Old English word for 'man', and Fluttershy isn't human.
Something similar holds true for Sonic, in Unleashed - he can transform into a more lupine form in the game, and many people refer to him as a 'Werehog'; it implies he transforms into a hedgehog - there's no mention of 'wolf' anywhere in that word. Oops.

That is true; they do have rather similar place names to ours, except theirs are horse puns (Manehattan = Manhattan, Canterlot = Camelot, Fillydelphia = Philadelphia, etc.), and they did switch 'everybody' and 'anybody' and similar to 'everypony' and 'anypony', so I can see ancient pony tribes using 'wer' to mean 'pony'.
