It's not every day that you meet a new alicorn, especially one that isn't called a Prince.

Upbeat and sentimental short that chronologically takes place two weeks before the finale. No prior knowledge of these characters is necessary to enjoy this fic; they all are well defined in-story.

Teen rating for alcohol consumption and the crude but lighthearted banter to which it leads. Profanity tag for some reminiscing in the second chapter about older, edgier fan depictions of the featured characters.

Twilight Sparkle has important friendship problems to solve. However, that's hard to do with a "reformed" villain following you around all day.

(Context for later readers: This is based on the old Season 5 buzz when Starlight Glimmer — who got beaten in the Season 5 opener but escaped — canonically showed up in the background of the café in "Amending Fences". It was a big deal at the time.)

Horrible news befalls a family that leaves them heartbroken. How can a young filly understand this news and the meaning of death?

I kind of wrote this as a tribute of sorts to those who have or are currently serving in the armed forces. To these veterans and active-duty service members, I salute you and thank you for your sacrifices and service!

For those who don't know, Aura is a background pony filly. I decided to use her as the main character, as I was searching for a lesser known background pony to base a short story on.

During the wedding of the Captain of the Royal Guard and a Princess, things go wrong and Canterlot falls under siege. On the streets, chaos ensues -- the story follows the struggle of two earth ponies that were caught, among many others, in the streets when the Changelings attacked.

What if your OC could live in Equestria? Perhaps a background pony who befriends Derpy? Maybe a philanthropist who wants to lend a helping hoof? Or could you be a blank flank simply trying to find your place? Apply to the O.C.I.O and you might be lucky enough to become a citizen of Equestria!

These are the ponies who... didn't make it through the screening.

Peachy Pie doesn't have a very special somepony for Hearts and Hooves Day. Sunny Daze helps her look. But what does Peachy Pie expect from a very special somepony? And which pony could be her match?

These two fillies are not OCs, but background ponies. Their biggest role was in The Show Stoppers, where they won the prize for best dramatic performance by reciting their favourite poem on roller skates. None of Peachy's potential suitors are OCs either. You can find them all in Friendship is Magic if you look hard enough.
