When Twilight was sent to improve relations with the Griffon Kingdom due to a glacier running through the sea that divides the two kingdoms, she was more than a little excited. However, when she and her friends landed on the shores of Griffonstone, Twilight realised this mission might not be as leisurely as she might have hoped. As nice as the griffons were, and as much as her friends were enjoying the "vacation", Twilight couldn't help but be entranced by the titanic ice sheet in the water. Could anyone else hear it talking? How is ice talking? And why... why does it sound exactly like her?

(For context, this book takes place somewhere in the middle of season 5 of the show, but after episode 8.)

3/14/24 Still Alive Edition

There's only one pony in Ponyville that the Mane Six have never met. Pinkie Pie has never thrown him a party, Applejack has never sold him a mug of cider, and Twilight has never seen him check out any books. And as far as that unicorn, Lapis Print, is concerned, that's exactly how it should be.

Lapis can't risk them knowing where he lives, what he does for a living, or even what his name is - if he gets his way, the Mane Six won't even know he exists, and nopony in Ponyville will miss him once he's gone.

It should be a piece of cake - after all, it's not like the biggest magical power in Equestria is about making sure everypony looks out for each other, right?

In glancing over my notes of the hundreds of cases in which I have during the years studied the methods of my celebrated friend, Sherclop Pones, I find many tragic, some comic, a large number merely strange, but none commonplace; for, working as he did rather for the love of his art than for the acquirement of wealth, he refused to associate himself with any investigation which did not tend towards the unusual, and even the fantastic. Of all these varied cases, however, I cannot recall any which presented more singular features than that which was associated with the infamous case of Pinkie’s Cupcakes. The events in question occurred in the early days of my association with Pones, when we were sharing rooms as bachelors in Baker Street. It is possible that I might have placed them upon record before, but a promise of secrecy was made at the time, from which I have only been freed during the last month by Princess Twilight Sparkle upon her coronation as the Ruler of the Equestrian Monarchy, desiring for this particular case in which I am about to narrate to be at last be known to general public (much to the Caballus Club’s objection.) It is perhaps as well that the facts should now come to light, for I have reasons to know that there are widespread rumours as to the disappearance of Rainbow Dash of loyal reputation, which tend to make the matter even more terrible than the truth.

Stones have a lot to say, if you care to hear them. And Marble has always been a good listener.

As the days turn into weeks and with no sign of normalcy manifesting, the prince begins questioning his new routine, and that of the zebra in his life.

Can something more than magic thrive in their little corner of the Everfree Forest, or will both of their secrets be the cause of their downfall?

At one point in your life, there's always this... moment.

This weird, inexplicable moment where nothing makes sense. The odds of what is happening to you just don't make any sense at all. Even with all your imagination, this one moment would have never crossed your mind.

It's one of those moments where you just say 'Oh well, that just happened', or maybe 'it just works'. The kind of moment no one will believe you if you ever tell the experience to someone else. A few would dare to say that it's 'destiny' doing its work, fulfilling some ancient legend or legacy or whatever.

And of course, this is not limited to just humans! Anyone can fall victim to one of these!

For better or worse, this is the moment a few individuals are experiencing right now.

A revelation from the future has thrown Sparkler for a loop. Fleur De Lis, An Alicorn like her that had hidden her wings until Sparky's and Misty's trial, is allegedly her biological sister. This has raised questions in her mind.

WHY did Fleur never say anything?

Was Fleur adopted?

Was Sparkler herself Adopted?

What do her parents know?

One way or another, She's going to get answers.

At least this time she doesn't have to feel bad about springing surprises when a letter would've been too slow.

Time Turner comes to Rockville on official geological business; unfortunately that business involves greenlighting a project to destroy the Painted Hills, a local natural wonder and a fondly remembered foalhood locale of local rock farmer, Maud Pie. Unhappy with his assignment, Time seeks Maud's help in saving the landmark by uncovering an ancient secret. The more time they spend together in the hills, the more their weirdness seems to fit together... Oh, yes and Maud's pet rock turned jealous ex, Boulder is trying to kill them which appears connected to it all in some strange way.
