If I do write one in time, I know it will be a bit simplistic in nature and a little short. But it still would be ideal to make a story for practice.

I think there's a group specifically for advertising contests, if you haven't used that.

Spent most of August planning, so now I'm actually getting to work writing mine, and hoping to finish on time. XD

Sorry, only just saw your comment (the site doesn't generate a notification when someone posts on the front page of a group, apparently...).

I've advertised the contest about everywhere I think I can, but if you have any suggestions as to where I could, that'd be great! I wish I could get a site post, but you need to have held a contest before with prizes in order for them to trust you enough to do it, so that's off the table for this one. Again, if you have any suggestions, let me know.

You might wanna advertise this contest a little more. Get more people in on it.
