Red disease was an old disease that infected ponies in the late 1500's. It always began with, 'Just a small pain in the hooves,' or 'Just an ache in the stomach'. It would eventually grow to be much more, like the inability to move certain limbs, complete paralyzation, and at the end..

..usually death.

The most mysterious thing about this, however, is that when a pony passed away from said disease, the same, drawn character would appear near, or on the place the pony had taken her last breath.

Five years have passed since the Equestrian victory against the invading minotaur army, and peace has returned to the land. The first annual memorial celebration has arrived in Canterlot, led by Prince Antares. However, in the midst of the celebration, Equestria is invaded by an army from far away, led by the powerful unicorn Tempest Shadow in the name of The Storm King.

Now on the run, Antares must reclaim his conquered nation, no matter the cost.

Just as a brief point of interest: I loved the movie. This is not a fix fic any more than the first TD Alicorn story was a fix fic of the Season 3 finale. This is just an interesting idea I had.

Princess Celestia has dispatched her prized pupil, Twilight Sparkle, to oversee preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration. An unfortunate accident, however, cuts her student's life short. Now another must recover the Elements in her stead, or else Equus will be plunged into eternal night.

With so many of those "X becomes Y in Equestria" Fics bouncing around, I got an idea for one of my own that just wouldn't go away. Rather than let it distract me from my writing any longer, I decided to take the idea, put my personal twist on it, and get to writing! The story is already 100% finished, Epilogue and everything, so you don't have to wait long for updates like my other stories.
