After the disappearance of Rainbow Dash during a Wonderbolts training exercise, Equestria flew into a frenzy, looking for the missing mare.

At Twilight's request, Daring Do has also aided in their feeble attempts at finding the dynamic Element Bearer. With Tank in tow, Daring Do explores the mountainous regions of Canterlot, where she stumbles upon a legend once known and now long forgotten… yet closer to home than ever before.

A portal opened up during their Wonderbolts training exercise and Rainbow Dash fell through, saving a teammate in the process... But at a cost. Now stranded in an Equestria that is all but foreign to her, Rainbow Dash must figure out why exactly she is there and what she needs to do to get back.

Yet when something happens that Rainbow could never have been prepared for, she decides that enough is enough. Stricken with guilt and compelled to do what's right, Rainbow finds herself stuck between a rock and a hard place. With her name already meaning nothing so far in the past, she decides to call herself one that she still viewed as the epitome of awesomeness and nobility in all of history...

It's been several years since Lero first dropped into Equestria - several very happy years for Rainbow Dash, and the rest of her herd.

But when it becomes obvious that Rainbow's number one fan Scootaloo, now a mare in her own right, is making moves to court Spike, the herd is concerned - is the younger pegasus actually interested in Twilight's number one assistant, or simply trying to follow in her idol's footsteps in courting interspecies?

Dash made the biggest mistake of her life, several years ago in Manehattan, and has now decided to face the music- a decision that threatens to tear her and the orange filly apart. Will telling Scootaloo about her regrets, and her love, persuade Scootaloo to forgive her, to become what they really are together, or will the two remain forced apart by this huge secret of Dash's?

Discord in a rare moment of charity decides to try and help Scootaloo fulfill her lifelong dream of being able to fly. The problem is he goes about it by making her Equestria's newest Alicorn Princess, which leads to some complications with the ruling princesses.

What will this mean for the future of Equestria? And will Scootaloo be able to control her new powers?

It's been seven years since Equestria's surrender in the disastrous Crystal Wars. Celestia has been banished to the sun for a thousand years, and Emperor Sombra rules from his iron throne in Canterlot. His hold on Equestria is tight, but on the far fringes of the his Empire, lawlessness still thrives.

After the defeat, Crystal War veteran Rainbow Dash is trying to make her way in this dark new world. Operating her small airship The Alicorn, she and her rag-tag crewmates will take any job, legal or not, to keep food on the table and fuel in the tanks. Sombra may have won the war, but he can't take the sky.

Rainbow Dash always had a thing for First Officer Soarin of the Wonderbolts, even without realizing he could be such a sweet pony once she got to know him a little better. However, her affections are already tied up with the newly adopted Scootaloo, who needs guidance and care when a new disorder rears its ugly head. There's not much room in her heart for a stallion, is there?

Unfortunately, her life will get even more complicated as the Mane Six join the Wonderbolts to face a mysterious darkness in the distant land of Saddle Arabia. She must remain strong, because her entire world is about to come crashing around her ears. Is there a light at the end of this tunnel, or will everything she endured simply bring more pain down the road?

(Rated teen for the occasional instances of strong language, suggestive scenes, and scattered ponies drinkin' themselves stupid!
