Rainbow Dash befriends and then soon dates a Pegasus named Blazing Comet. She is much like her, being fast, daring, adventurous, and can keep up with Rainbow Dash. On paper, the two ponies seem like a perfect match, considering how alike they are. Fluttershy, with her dreams shattered, now has come to believe she will never be good enough for Rainbow Dash. But as time goes on, who is to say that the rainbow-maned daredevil won't realize that the perfect pony for her was right in front of her all along?

Rainbow Dash finds herself searching for help after an argument with Fluttershy reopens wounds from their past in Cloudsdale. As Twilight tries to help the two sort out the their issues, she finds herself falling deeper into the confusion.

I don't understand it, I don't know what to do. Anytime I try to make sense of this, I can never find an answer. All I know for sure is that I love Fluttershy more than anything.

First person with Rainbow Dash as she ponders elements of her past and present within her dilemma of trying to understand why she loves Fluttershy.

When Rainbow Dash announces something very important to her friends, one of them reacts in a way that she never would have foreseen. Why is that, and how will it affect their friendship?

In friendship, there is love, but it is different when that love is something deeper than it appears. Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash have learned over the years how love works and for them, life is simply perfect, but what happens if Rainbow Dash starts to suspect something more of Fluttershy's long-time friendship with the beautiful unicorn Rarity?
Fluttershy is unaware of Rainbow Dash's concern and she continues to enjoy her weekly hang-outs with Rarity. Surely there is nopony else Fluttershy loves deeper than Rainbow Dash, but sometimes jealousy can be a blinding thing.
Can Rainbow Dash find a way to put her jealousy aside? Or is the return of an old friend the only thing that can take Dash's mind off of it?

Warning: If you haven't read the first two stories of this series you won't be able to follow along. I urge you to be able to read this with an open mind to read the previous installments so you can enjoy this one.

Rainbow Dash's journey has took her to the edge of insanity and to the brink of death itself. This final chapter of her saga as a Wonderbolt will put her at the very limits. Survival against an adversary of this caliber isn't guaranteed.
