Cortana has several problems, and very little she can do to solve any of them. Being stranded on half of a ship in deep space, with the clock on her lifespan slowly running out, she gets desperate enough to try almost anything.

She goes so far as to land her half-ship on a strange astronomical anomaly, in the slim hope of finding a method of FTL travel on it. Now, her latest problem consists of understanding the mind-bending physics of this planetary crime against reason, without prematurely going insane.

Chief wakes up on a new planet, and is, as always, presented with aliens he needs to kill in order to accomplish his mission.

Equestria witnesses the arrival of a large object from space, and has to deal with the fallout of it's destructive crash landing. Though the real threat the object poses is not something anypony could have anticipated.

(Knowledge of the Halo games is advised, though not strictly required.)

They say that Spartans never die; that they're only missing in action. But can that really be true if you don't feel alive? If the very purpose of your existence is suddenly taken from you?

Noble Six detonated the rigged slip-space drive on the Covenant corvette as Jorge-052 simply floated back down to Reach, gripping her dogtags tightly.

To Reach, Jorge, and the UNSC, Spartan-B312 is gone; whether it be KIA or MIA.

But to Equestria, Noble Six is anything but dead...

It's not everyday that the Dragonborn goes out and about. O' course, last time he did he dropped by my home. Literally. A dragon knocked him from the mountain and he crashed through the roof an onto the bed. He killed the dragon, and gave me about 1,000 septims for ruining my house.

The Dragonborn? Yeah, I've seen him. He's an odd fellow, but a... giddy one. He's easily excitable, can carry a burden or two, and he's a fine worker and warrior. The only problem? He always comes back either unscathed or near-dead. Always patched him up for what it was worth though.

The last time I saw the Dragonborn was around Morthal. Yeah, he took up Benor and after a good fight, he decided to tag along with him. It's not everyday you see a man in all types of Dwarfish, Orkish, and Elven armor running around killing dragons... Although, I wonder what happened to the Dragonborn fellow? What I heard is that he up and disappeared one night, no hair nor hide of him. The only thing we found was a small note saying that someone needed him in a far off land. The only place I can think of is Elsweyr, but then again, maybe it's not that far away.

We all wished for power at one point of our lives but sometimes, that power could be forced upon you. Power that you never wished for but given to you against your will.

Now the question is, what will I do with it?

With everything but my name and memories taken from me and my home separated by death itself, I will find my purpose in this new world... Now if only the natives would leave me alone to do so.

Blacklight had the truth. He knew what he was. He knew Alex was dead, and that he was never human. He knew that Dana was never his sister, and that he was never even slightly related to her. He knew that there was nothing tying him to Dana, no real memories or biological similarities or even species based empathy. For some reason, Blacklight loves Dana like a sister he doesn’t have.

Perhaps this is what keeps him tame when he is brought into a place he does not belong. A scenario where a being of chaos and war brought to a place of harmony and peace is not often a pretty one. Yet with Dana there, somehow he manages not to go berserk and start murdering everything in sight.

Now the Monster of Manhattan contemplates his place in the world, lies to his sister and the ponies, and questions his lack of empathy when he begins to feel remorse for his actions. He is beginning to miss the simple times where the only things he had to deeply contemplate were methods of horrifically mutilating armies with the maximum amount of efficiency. At least that was straightforward.

(This fic operates under the assumption that Prototype 2 and its tie-in comics never existed. If you really have to ask yourself why, play the first game, then play the second game. The reasons should become apparent.)

(Well, enough of you seem to think this is funny enough to be a dark comedy, so I added a comedy tag. I have to warn you though, I'm not entirely certain as to how consistent the comedy will be. So don't come into this expecting the wacky misadventures of a murderous psychopath.)

Seeking passage to Avalon, Alan Ryves finds the spell he used (written by no less than Merlin, himself!) takes him instead to Equestria.

Vinyl Scratch, DJ and perpetual party fixture, was just on the cusp of creating a new spell to enhance the acoustics of her infamous WUBS, only to have it backfire and create a crater where her house once was.

A friendship between the two grows quickly, and perhaps becomes even more.

You've popped into Equestria one fateful afternoon. You don't know if it's a dream, a coma fantasy, some kind of interplanetary vortex trip, or what, but you just have to deal with it. Immediately heading to Twilight's library after meeting some bickering fillies, you feel ready for whatever this strange place can throw at you. However, you find that you'll face some problems with communication. The ponies should hear you speaking perfect English to them. Right?

2022 REWRITE IN PROGRESS

After being rudely awoken from Cryo-sleep, John-117 finds that the Forward Unto Dawn has been sucked into a gravity well, causing it to fall towards an unknown planet. In the crash, he is separated from Cortana and falls alone into the Everfree forest. In addition to this new complication, old memories from a scarred and tragic past haunt his dreams, putting his remaining sanity on edge.

However, he has little time to ponder these thoughts, as he encounters the planet's... peculiar... inhabitants.

Alright, so here is the story I have teased on my blog, The Noble Guardians! If you already guessed the concept, good for you! But for the rest of you, this is a Halo: Reach Crossover. I have seen a couple fics in which Six or Jorge are brought to Equestria, but they were always alone, so I decided to bring them all together as one. This will follow the show's storyline, with Noble acting as additional characters to the episodes, but don't worry, I guarantee they will be major characters with their own arcs and there will be plenty of original situations. I will also most likely skip any episodes in which Noble would have little to no involvement. (This will be few and far between, one example being "Call of the Cutie" I mean, even the Mane Six are only minor characters in that episode. I'll probably either mention those in passing or have another story going on with those episodes occurring in the background.) Anyway, see how Noble reacts to becoming Equestria's destined protectors!
