Hearths Warming Eve has come once again in Equestria and all around, every pony is in a most merry of moods. Well...maybe not every pony. Sickened by the sickly sweet feelings of the holiday, Cozy Glow attempts to ruin the occasion by stealing the magical television from Twilight Sparkle to cause mass chaos. However, a magical surge sends herself through the portal and it is up to the Mane Six, Spike, and Starlight Glimmer to go after her and stop her from causing more destruction. This lands them in the small town of Whoville, where the citizens are readying themselves for Christmas time. But all is not as joyous and merry as is to be believed when the Christmas hating Grinch seeks to steal the very holiday itself.

Will our heroes be able to stop Cozy Glow and help the Grinch learn to love Christmas? Or are some hearts just two sizes too small to learn to love?

Fluttershy is no stranger to making friends with animals, and is no stranger to some of those animals being weird and unique in their own way. But she's never encountered an animal like this before.

The pegasus finds what appears to be a stray black cat one day and takes him in out of the kindness of her own heart. But this black cat can talk and has his own name: Salem Saberhagen.

When the initial shock of a talking cat wears off, Fluttershy becomes interested in Salem as she seeks to understand what makes the black cat who he is. As for Salem, he mostly cares about having something to do while all by himself in an unfamiliar world.

20-year-old Ryan Burbank is living with his girlfriend in their woodland home when he is struck by a mysterious infection seemingly out of nowhere. To everyone's horror, his sickness spreads quickly throughout his body, shutting him down one piece at a time. The doctors are at a loss of what to do about this new form of bacteria. Ryan and his loved ones choose to keep fighting until either a cure can be discovered...or the pain becomes too much.
At the height of his suffering, he discovers a happy little show while watching television in his hospital room. The bright colors and happy attitudes of the cartoon equines provide him with a much-needed escape from the daily pain of being killed from the inside.
Eventually, the pain becomes too much and he decides it would be better to go out surrounded by his family, in the embrace of those who kept him company throughout his short life. Just as he starts to fade, his eyes wander to the screen of the hospital room television and the cartoon ponies who adorn it. Something strange begins to occur...almost like the screen is pulling him in. Tunnel vision, maybe?
No, that can't be it...why can he hear his name being called by a very familiar voice? And why is she...crying? Who is this crying, familiar voice and why does she seem to know him?
