About a week after the defeat of the Dazzlings, the latest threat to Canterlot High, one of its members shows up out of the blue. Of course, she is shunned and rejected by almost everyone. Everyone except Sunset Shimmer... and me.

After the Battle of the Bands, Aria Blaze had no idea what to do with her sisters. That is, until a certain kind of guy shows up, leading a new punk band called 'Next Generation'. Aria Blaze decides to hang with them, and she then becomes a part of the rising punk band. She stands by Anthem Flare, and together with all the other members, they make the best punk band there ever was! And plus, the two grow close through an adventure none will ever forget. Aria Blaze is history's most prolific composer. Writing music constantly for upwards of a thousand years will earn you that title. Now, after a defeat which robbed the three sirens of a magic they've known their entire lives, she relies more than ever on her passion to carry her through an uncertain time. Whatever form fate thrusts upon her, she will never stop making music, and that's all that matters...or it would be, if she could get one roommate to stop pestering her, and the other to stop a downward spiral of self-destruction.

Adagio wakes up, no longer in her teenage form, but as a child. The thing she feared most has finally happened, her magic has finally faded. Now she is young, and her mind is no longer developed, leaving her siren sisters to watch over her.

When they try talking to her she wants to hurt them, and she just stays in her room. They wonder what caused Sonata to have such a dark heart. Adagio is afraid to bother her, Aria is afraid to ask her out, Sunset and the others are angry at Sonata. But they all wonder the same question what happened?

After the Battle of the Bands, the sirens blamed Sonata Dusk for their loss and abandoned her. Fortunately, a boy heard their conversation and approached her. Will he help her get 'back on her feet? Having been defeated by the Rainbooms, losing their dark powers, and even their ability to sing, the Dazzlings are all but happy with how Adagio's plan went. But, as they did when defeated before, they will brush themselves off and keep moving forward.. Now they have to continue living in this world, without their powers this time. As they go on, however, they will start to notice some changes amongst themselves, and realize just how this tragedy affected each of them.

Everything has been calm and peaceful for Canterlot High in recent months with the Dazzlings reformation. OR was the Dazzlings reformation really a reformation? The answer is no it was an awaking from their nightmare of a spell casted on them when they were twelve. But, now the three Sirens who casted the spell are at Canterlot High and have attentions of ruining the upcoming Moonlight dance. But, with them around it has brought Adagio to start remembering her life before it was ruined by them. Can the Rainbooms and the Dazzlings stop these three before the carry out their plan?
