(Button Mash x Babs Seed) (Semi-Anthro)

Button Mash is an unpopular, videogame loving dork who is regularly picked on in school. Babs Seed is a new transfer student and a fierce brawler who doesn't take any lip from anypony.

One day, Babs meets Button in the hall on the way to class. Or rather, sees Button on the ground with three others above him. After scaring off the offending ponies, Babs helps Button to his hooves and walks with him to class. After that, the two become fast friends and start to get to know each other...

After the Battle of the Bands, Sonata finds herself dumped by her friends and ends up staying at Canterlot High, hopefully with the help of a few of the students and two new kids she can fit in, hijinks are sure to ensue

Under the guiding hoof of their newly-crowned monarch, King Sombra, prosperity and love flourish in the lands of the Crystal Empire. With peace spanning half a century, most ponies have forgotten the true terror sleeping behind the forbidden boundaries of the northern wastelands.

However, rumblings of a powerful threat from the borderlands have alerted key ponies in the Empire. The tepid peace between the two nations begins to waver as the embittered changelings prepare for war.

With the kindling in place and the flint struck, the mettle of kings and countryponies are taken to their limits, testing just how far each one is willing to go for their homeland.

Foreword: Due to some confusion noted by several people, I will clarify here that this story takes place in the original time of the Crystal Empire (after Discord's original reign but before Nightmare Moon's first iteration.)

This is one of the worst ones.

I started this several months ago, dropped it, then picked it back up again a few days ago just to see if I could get another thing out. Please note that this is what I like to call bleakfic, as in, it's not going to be very uplifting, and that this is also a very experimental fic, so certain rules of writing and English in general have been intentionally ignored for pretention artistic effect. Fluttershy has always wanted to give more of her kindness towards ponies. However, her shyness impedes her speaking, which makes her hard to express herself. After asking for her help, Pinkie Pie teaches Fluttershy to communicate with physical interactions instead, like hugs.

It works so well that Fluttershy decides to hug every pony in Ponyville.

Button is very brave. He's saved Princess Zelda from Ganondorf, fought against zombie hordes and he's even managed to beat the dreaded Creepers! Alright, that last one wasn't real. Or the other ones.

But, despite his achievements, he has only one princess he wants(and thankfully, she's not in another castle): Sweetie Belle. Of course, when he asks her to Sugarcube Corner for milkshakes, he encounters a horde of enemies! Well, not a horde, just Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, but their enemies nonetheless.

Will Button be able to stand up to the enemy and protect his princess? And will he really learn the true meaning to being a hero?
