It's just a date, right? What could possibly go wrong? But when the scientifically-minded Twilight Sparkle deems it necessary to start writing letters to Pinkie Pie about it, bad approaches lead to misunderstood intentions, and it's up to Twilight to solve the problem herself.

She never expected to see a golden chariot flying over Ponyville. She never expected just how much her life would change. She never expected Twilight Sparkle … and Twilight Sparkle most certainly never expected Pinkie Pie.

Twilight loves all her friends, but lately a certain pink pony has been occupying her mind a bit more than usual: thankfully, she knows to keep such feelings to herself.

...So why has that mare been giggling everytime she passes by?

Twilight knows something's up when Pinkie asks her for help with writing. But what harm could it do? Writing always was one of her favourite subjects...

While Pinkie lays sleeping, her worst fear takes the form of a nightmare, and Twilight is the only one who can comfort her.
