That's all I can say. Great piece. Love your interpretation of Pinkie, it's one I've shared, and the shipping is subtle yet heartwarming and real. It strikes me that Pinkie does only get to be with her friends only when there in a group or an activity. Parties, pranks with Dash, cooking with AJ, etc. But they never get to really talk, like Rarity and Fluttershy do on their spa dates. Poor Pinkie. :fluttercry:

Why is your writing so good? How can you evoke so much emotion in your stories?

I don't even know what my feelings are doing :raritycry:

Very excellent story! Your interpretation of Pinkie Pie is quite believable, and the emotions in this story are quite deep and moving.

422071 That's about the best compliment you could possibly give me!

422082 Thanks, Joey, whom I have never spoken to or requested anything from before. :raritywink:

Never liked that particular ship but this was still very enjoyable.

You're welcome, Poet, who definitely did not ask me to make a cover for this, nor showed me a pre-release copy of this fic last night :twilightsheepish:

That was great. I can't really say much more without sounding stupid, but it really was a touching little one-shot

TLC

:pinkiesad2::twilightsmile: ...Yes. So much yes.:moustache:

Nice story, just one teensy little nitpick that EVERY ONE-SHOT seems to do. :twilightangry2:

Why name the chapter "Chapter 1" when it is a complete one-shot story? :derpytongue2:

422342 I think it defaults to that. I'll change it.

There, thanks for pointing that out! :pinkiehappy:

Oh yay, another Twinkie. It's getting pretty common now. This one actually made me smile a little. I approve.

Oh lord this hit me down deep :pinkiesad2:

For the love of Celestia, why is this a bucking one shot?! Sometimes I think you authors are out to get me with these. Always leave me wanting more. :facehoof:

Manly tears. Manly tears :pinkiesad2:

This was beautiful.

I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said, but well done. This is an excellent piece.

If this doesn't have more I'm going to kill something

Fantastic story, very moving and heartfelt. I look forward to reading more of your work.

This writing's simply beautiful. Very nicely done.

Though the long descrition of the background tired me, I did enjoy this story a lot, particularly because it adresses a really interesting side of Pinkie, one I've been meaning to explore: the uneven exchange of friendliness between Pinkie and her friends. Seeing as she always gives 200% on her friends, one can wonder if she ever gets all of that back.

The hugs parts were really heartwarming, so I congratulate you on that. Faved

Damn... I love this. Might just be my favorite ship...

Fave'd. This fic gave me so many feels.

You have captured the very essence of Pinkie Pie and created a truly beautiful romantic analogy.

I can't imagine a better compliment... :fluttercry:

639878
I can imagine a better one that gives you money.:trollestia:
Are you doing a sequel to this? I would hug you and pay you for one.

640262

...how could I possibly make a sequel to this?

Maybe if I used different characters...:fluttershyouch::raritywink:

It's always a possibility. :trixieshiftleft:

At first I was sceptical, but this turned out to be surprisingly good and touching. Good work =D
:pinkiesmile::twilightsmile:

This is a beautiful, touching story! :pinkiesad2:

Fantastic work!

This hit me a bit emotionally. I never thought of it like that for Pinkie Pie and it was very sad to read too. This was the best connection between Pinkie Pie and Twilight Sparkle I have read on here and I hope to see more of your work. Kudos

The best part, I think, is how the shipping is done. Nothing was forced, we didn't even see if anything would come of it (besides the two becoming closer) and it could almost be considered friendshipping depending on how you look at it.

And I agree, it is hard to imagine them together. On the other hand... Pinkie's always acted a little different around Twi. When she needs advice she goes to Twilight. She seems to have a desire to make Twilight in particular smile and relax. She seems to be a bit calmer around Twilight. She played along during the whole "Pinkie-Sense" incident. Alot of that could be Pinkie being Pinkie. But it's enough to make you wonder...

Oh my this is my fav TwiPie fic's its really well/cool written i am amazed how you could write womething so amazing! keep up the good job.

(this story needs/deserve's a continuation but thats just my opnion)

One of the few times I actually don't filter out the "Sad" tag in my story search, and I suddenly find that it may not be something to be afraid of after all. It's not like "Tragedy", though I guess I just tend to associate the tag with that. I think I'm going to have to stop filtering that tag out, I'm sure I'm missing out on a lot.

I'm always intrigued with a (non-psycho!) straight-maned Pinkie, because I've always felt that there was an intelligent pony under all the jokes and impulsiveness and immaturity. One reason why I really like the concept of Twipies. (though that doesn't necessarily mean I'm going to like a Twipie. Depends on how it's written.)

I felt like this story accomplished something that I'm starting to understand must be a very difficult thing, and that's to display mutual romantic feelings between two characters. Of course, how subtle it is, it can easily just be deep feelings of friendship, but the subtext is there. In any case, I've run into so many stories where a pony never shows romantic feelings toward another until the other confesses, so I'm really impressed with the story for the fact that I found myself easily believing the two were falling for each other.

Still, to me the romance tag does seem to be a bit off, because I didn't see these two actually reach a point where they'd realize such feelings, confess them, and actually become a couple. I do believe that this is only a mere teasing taste of what this story could be, and I really want to throw my hat into the pile of encouragements for you to expand on this. And I'm not talking about doing this with another couple. It would be a real treat to see some romantic tension between this two after this little sweet moment, and see them get together.

Even if this is never expanded upon, though, I have to say that it really made my morning. It was just over far too quickly, and feels unfinished.

this is truly loving... < :,)
... thanks so much for sharing.

(C+C: “Not to throw parties, or to play pranks, but…”
Pinkie Pie is already talking here, so you don't need the first quote.
Not to throw parties, or to play pranks, but…”)

This is lovely, and I'm impressed that a relatively short story has such a languid, poetic feel to it. I really liked how you were able to present a deeper and more nuanced picture of Pinkie while keeping her in character.

The beautiful, serene way you made the words flow created a nice mood. Who says mood is not important? One cruely hilarious thing to do to the readers is fuck up the serene mood with Pinkieish dialogue. But this was nice and it put me in a deep inner peace... I almost fell asleep because it was so soothing. Dont take that in a bad way, please.

Have a thumb and a fav. You deserve it.

Not gonna lie. I cried.

MAN DOWN! MAN BUCKING DOWN! :raritycry:

very beautifully written and I can easily see this ship. two opposites, yet
perfectly matched. please write more. maybe a sequel.

An unusual fic about an unusual pairing. There isn't a whole lot of Twipie around.

This one isn't good at all.

No, good is too simple. Exquisite is far better.

I did an audio reading of this fanfiction on my channel! https://youtu.be/-msu8NTHYV8

You know, this was one of the very first stories I read back when I joined the fandom back in mid-’12. I loved it, and it’s been in my favourites ever since. I’m reading it today after so many years and man, it still packs quite a punch. Even with all the changes the show and the fandom has gone through, Twinkie is still my favourite ship. Thanks for the story, pal.

I did a reading of your story! I hope you enjoy! Youtube Reading

HNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

I'm sorry, I was trying not to bucking explode. This was the most beautiful story I've ever read, it gives me more emotions then i know how to do with. Sorry if I'm typing weird, I can't think straight when because I'm trying to explain how much I love something that I can't explain how much I love it.

Have a Derpy!

No no no, that's unacceptable, have THREE DERPYS

:derpyderp1::derpytongue2::derpyderp2:

(That means I loved it)
