The three fillies of our story are so desperate to get their Cutie Marks that they've formed the not-so-secret secret society, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. After having Crusaded around their hometown of Ponyville, they turn their sights to the wonders beyond (even if traveling by themselves gets them in trouble with their sisters).
But outside of their not-so-peaceful peaceful town, they find that not everything is as wonderful as it seems and they very well may be the only ones who can do something about it (along with help from a couple of new friends).
Follow the Cutie Mark Crusaders as they search for their special talents but end up finding more about themselves and each other than they ever imagined, in the exciting Adventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders - Fillies on a Mission!
This, if you haven't noticed, is a long story. There is still much more to come as well. There are a lot of slice of life stuff at the start, but not all adventure stories start off with loud explosions and huge disasters; the girls have a long journey of discovery ahead of them and not all of it promises to be nice quiet little things. Also, the alternate tag is for the fact that they will get their cutie marks, eventually; and the crossover tag is in case some of the references I plan to do is too much for a 'normal' story.

3085624 yeah, it was Apple Bloom, mostly with sadness. I think the girls said something similar in the show. Sorry if it wasn't clear. I'll check it and see if there is anything I could do to make it more obvious. (though both of the others were saddened as well by that statement)

I was actually tempted to run the change by you to make sure I somehow didn't mess it up, and when I saw how you quoted it I panicked and checked on it. (the quote was missing the 'a' of remark)

3157258 man, even I don't know what these girls are getting up to until the story keeps going! I know a few points that I want to hit, but half the time they take the story and run with it. Half the reason why it's so hard to keep up with them

, and in the show they say 'girlfriend' in hearts and hooves day, and while marefriend or fillyfriend also works in my mind, it just came out like that while I was typing it. I can be swayed if you present a nice debate about why it should be filly or mare friend instead of girl friend though.

Sorry for some of the errors, it was a much larger chapter, and lots more for both myself and my editor to read.Fixed most of them, though I think the one where the CMC go for the sergeant is proper, they themselves went for him.
Also, what do you mean when you said that we knew Pinkie's lab overflowed and it should only be one sentence?
I was trying to show the state of the sink at the very least (a reason why Twilight was upset), but could you explain (or go further in detail)?

3189240 upon watching LittleshyFiM's video about Equestria Girls (I did so on a laugh), I realized that the writers did make some mistakes during the course of the show
(several instances of 'hands'... 
the first time I watched the show it must have just slipped past my notice and anytime after that was a small blip soon forgotten) and that perhaps calling somepony another pony's 'girlfriend' may have been a similar mistake. I think I will use fillyfriend as that is a more understandable ponification of the word 'girlfriend'.

Not nessicarly an error just something I noticed and also I had a class on this today
