High School is over and Sunset Shimmer is embroiled in the most ironically difficult and stressful task ever set before her...illegally faking her way into law school. It's a terrifying prospect, but one she might just pull off with the help of her best friend, Twilight Sparkle.

Of course a much bigger problem is the siren that has taken up residence in Sunset's spare bedroom.

Luna had been called many things in her long life some good some bad but never had she ever been called "mother" but now it was happening and by a filly who looks disturbingly familiar.
After taking a hit from the elements of harmony the Lunar Goddess is now severely weakened. Slowly recovering but weakened and in everyone elses eyes crazy...Very crazy.
She has her sister and her doctor to keep her sane but they aren't helping as much as she had hoped. With their help at the minimum and what her doctor calls "delusions" creeping up on her mind she has more things to worry about than ever.

Thats excluding the invisible filly that follows her everywhere and is making her question what sanity is.

Any tags mentioned will be used at some point when I can figure out how to write them properly.

Cadance had always felt that she didn't quite belong. Being the lone pegasus in a village of earth ponies, it was easy to see why. She'd shrugged it off as something she would grow out of once she discovered her special talent, but it became harder to ignore with each passing year. Still without a cutie mark by the time her eleventh birthday rolled around, she began to wonder whether she would ever find her place.

Little did she know how her life would change once she learned the truth. Faced with a past she didn't even know she had, Cadance has to decide who she really wants to be. Thankfully, it's not a decision she has to make alone.

Some elements herein are inspired by Twilight Sparkle and the Crystal Heart Spell. Familiarity with the book is not required to understand this story.

Inexperience is a foreign concept to Celestia. At least she thinks it is. Right up until the moment a rash decision leaves her with a student who is a dozen years younger than what she's used to.

As the smoke clears away from the crater created by the Rainbow blast at the end of the Fall Formal battle, Twilight Sparkle was unpleasantly surprised by what she saw...

What if the rainbow blast reverted Sunset in age instead of just removing her demon looks? That combined with her lost memories, has given Celestia a second chance in raising her sunshine the way she deserved to be. As more than just a student.

Sunset Shimmer has a foolproof plan. She's going to go through the portal for more than just a peak for the first time in years in order to obtain some magic artifact that will cement her role as overseer of the student populace of Canterlot High School. Then, she'll march these... carnivorous pony imitations through the portal and conquer Celestia's realm. Maybe then, she will finally get the wings she deserves from her old mentor.

The only problem is, it's not Celestia's realm...

Wanting to know if she could have another second chance in the form of a magical do-over Sunset decided to conduct a little experiment with her friends to see if youth really is wasted on the young.

Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. My brothers are Shining Armor, captain of the Royal Guard, and a dragon named Spike that I hatched when I was little. I have five friends that help me wield the Elements of Harmony, artifacts that protect Equestria from evil. I have a few other friends that are less important, but still great ponies nonetheless.

One catch, though. I am also a changeling Queen, and the friends and family I just mentioned are all my subjects, and children as well. They don't even know it, but everything's working out alright, so no reason to tell them! After all, it's not like a giant wave of love energy could suddenly reveal all the changelings in Canterlot, right? Right?

Part 1, Revelation: Twilight Sparkle meets an old enemy that reveals a secret she's kept since she was named.

Part 2, Recollection: The Elements of Harmony try to get to the truth of the matter, changeling Queens begin their game of chess, Queen Citlali takes her Hive and runs from Canterlot.

Part 3, Reformation: Queen Citlali begins to grow her hive, Whitetail Hive takes some time to get used to the news, Princess Cadance dreams of a dark creature.

Changelings are highly advanced and use Androids that have been Soul Melded with a number of the races of the world since birth as a way to collect love. Now just keep the curious and clumsy away from the sensitive systems and everything will be OK.

Also, important note. Pony ageing is somewhere between human and real life equines in this world. Example, Twilight is 16 in the story and that would be the equivalent of early 20's for humans.

The failed invasion of that mad queen, Chrysalis, rocked the changeling community. From the hives nestled outside Equestria, to their kin living in peace within, they watch those colorful ponies eye one another with suspicion and let themselves be swallowed by fear and distrust.

A gamble by Princess Celestia has summoned forth the diplomat to the Seekers, the one changeling who may be able to ease tensions between their races and restore balance. The Bearer of Magic has been summoned after a century of peace.

And, like her mother before her, Princess Twilight Sparkle will answer the call.
