A prequel of sorts to The Wheel and the Butterfly Saga. Can be read on its own.

Discord recounts his exploits as a newly formed being, provides insights into his motivation, and talks about one of the greatest foes he faced while he ruled Equestria over a millennium ago.

Long ago, the royal sisters trapped the villain Discord in stone after he ruled the land in eternal chaos. But is what Celestia tells Twilight and her friends of what transpired entirely true? Based on CosmicUnicorn's series "Discordantly" (with permission).

Being imprisoned in concrete leaves plenty of time for thought...especially in the case of the spirit of chaos. While Equestria assumes what is supposedly a normal life, Discord's prison is being cracked, little by little, and his intentions reside in the hearts of each of its inhabitants.

So here's a forewarning to those oblivious to the facts--it's all a game of balance. And that's all it ever will be.

This story is the unholy spawn of my imagination, a TV Tropes Fridge Horror entry, and "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" by Harlan Ellison. Rated "Teen" to be on the safe side. Criticism is welcomed.

Deciding he could be given another chance, Luna and Celestia come to an agreement to release the Chaotic God from his rocky imprisonment, locking his powers with a powerful spell. Magicless and with a chance at redemption, Discord's ways seem less chaotic than ever.

He does cause a lot of chaos though, to the faithful student of Celestia, who had eagerly taken over the task of watching over and teaching Discord by giving him a home under her own roof, in the process hoping to learn more about his species, powers and motives but surprisingly learning much more about both himself and her head... Which puts her in pretty amusing situations most of the time.

An adventure of a silly one sided (???) love and a look into the heart of Twilight Sparkle.

Scootaloo, as we all know, has no parents and lives in the Cutie Mark Crusader's club house. But not for long. No, Scootaloo has finally found somepony who understands her. Somepony who is willing to be a parent!

That somepony is Discord.

How will Scootaloo adjust to her new life as the daughter of chaos incarnate? What will her friends think? Can she convince Cheerilee to be her new dad's special somepony? Will she get her cutie mark?

Weeks have past since Tirek had been defeated. Life in Ponyville is back to normality, and Discord couldn't be happier, especially given the fact that all of his friends had forgiven his betrayal.

However, lately he's noticed that Fluttershy doesn't act like herself. She's constantly tired, a bit moody, and overall just not-Fluttershy. She claims to be fine, but Discord is done hearing that excuse.

And he will find out what's wrong. He has to...

Researching the history of Discord's time as ruler of the land, Twilight comes across something strange that piques her interest. Looking further into it, she discovers a piece of information that changes the dynamic of not only her own, but everypony's relationship with the mysterious draconequus.

Discord is utterly bemused by the apparent turn of events. Why in Equestria is everyone suddenly being so nice to him?

Twilight Sparkle has spent months researching chaos magic, developing a new spell to unlock magic nopony has ever experienced before. But when something goes wrong with casting, Twilight finds herself turned into a Draconequus and unable to control her new chaos magic. If she ever wants to be a pony again, there is only one who can help her learn to control her new magic.

Of course, learning from Discord was never going to be simple. And after a while, being a draconequus doesn't seem so bad anyway....
