With the new Friendship Rainbow Kingdom erected in Ponyville, The mane 6 plan to celebrate with a party where anypony in Ponyville is invited. A sudden knock on the Kingdom's door however, will create a chain of events that all revolve around one former Great and Powerful pony.

Twilight, being concerned for the roughed up pony, seems to be the only one, as the other 5 ponies still think of Trixie as the pompous and jealous pony she once was.

Can Trixie prove to each other pony that she has truly changed for the better?

Read along as Trixie gives up being a magician to find something that she would be truly good at without hurting or making anypony else sad like she did in the past.

Now she has nothing. No magic. No respect. No fame or riches. She doesn't even have all four legs anymore. Unable to deal with it, Trixie tries to run away one more time, only to find out that there's some things you just can't run from.

When troubled dreams lead to onstage accidents, Luna advises Trixie to think deeply on the magic of friendship. Trixie ponders her errors and realizes what she must do: swallow her pride, atone for her misdeeds in Ponyville, and befriend the ponies she has wronged...

... and then the power of the Elements of Harmony will be hers!

Trixie is tired of all the bulling and teasing so she tries to end her life. However she's gets interrupted by a pink pony.

The thing is that recently I received a fairly bad new. It struck me very bad. Bad enough to put all of my stories on hiatus. Since then I haven't written anything, till today. Let's see if the old horse can ride again.

The greatest magician in the world, Quartermoon the Magnificent, has just passed away. After his funeral, however, Luna takes interest in one of his granddaughters - a unicorn filly named Trixie Lulamoon, who has only just earned her cutie mark. One life has ended, but perhaps another is only just about to begin...

It had been a year since Twilight had heard of anything from Trixie after the Alicorn Amulet incident. Unexpectedly, she receives a letter saying that her so called "rival" has tragically died and is requested to be at her funeral.
