//------------------------------// // Trixie and Pinkie Pie // Story: cheer up Trixie! // by pokefreak13 //------------------------------// Pinkie Pie walked up to the same tree with the rope still dangling from the branch. She hopped onto it and started to swing. "May the great and powerful Trixie try the swing?" The pink pony turned around and then quickly gave the unicorn a bear hug. "I've missed you so much! I know that you probably don't know this but I've been to every single one of your magic show." Trixie used her magic to get out of Pinkie's iron grip. "Trixie knows. She's seen you in the crowed a couple of times but because Trixie is so busy, she never got a chance to talk to you." the blue unicorn explained. Pinkie Pie nodded. "I understand." Then she looked at the rope. "So you want to give it a whirl?" she questioned. Trixie nodded. "Trixie never thought this would be this fun." the unicorn was swinging higher and higher. The cool breeze felt good on her fur. "So what brings you to Ponyville?" Pinkie Pie hollered. Trixie teleported next to the pink earth pony. "I wanted to thank you for all you've done." Then she pulled from her hat a small chocolate fountain. It was oozing out silky smooth milk chocolate. Pinkie Pie started to drool. "I bought this in Saddle Arabia for you." Pinkie Pie took the fountain and stuck her mouth into it. "Chocolaty." she awed. Then the party pony set it carefully on the ground. "I got you a gift too." Pinkie Pie reached into her saddle bag and brought out her party cannon. Then she fired it. Sending confetti, streamers, balloons, and cupcakes into the air. After it all settled, the tree and the grass around them turned into a party. "What's all this?" Trixie asked in amazement. "Well since I missed all your birthdays, I thought that I could throw you one big party when you came back." Pinkie Pie explained. Trixie began to cry happy tears. "Thank you Pinkie Pie. Trixie...I mean I never had a party before. I really love it." Pinkie Pie beamed. "Well don't just stand there, LET"S PARTY LIKE THERE"S NO TOMORROW!!" The two friends laid under the tree with their bellies full of cupcakes with too much frosting. Pinkie Pie listened to Trixie as she told the pink pony all about her travels. "You really turned the statue into life?" Pinkie asked. Trixie nodded. "Turns out that Celestia is one big fan of Star Swirl the Bearded." Pinkie laughed. "Wow, and I thought Twilight was his number one fan." Trixie sat up and handed Pinkie Pie a half full sack of gold coins. "What's this for?" Pinkie asked. "I never would've had this kind of success without you. So as a token of my gratitude, I want you to have this." The pink pony shook her head. "Your smile is the best gift you could ever give me Trixie." As the sun started to set, the two friends waved goodbye to each other. Then they headed their separate ways. Still keeping their friendship close to their hearts.
