Cheer up Trixie

Pinkie Pie was hopping up the road when she saw Trixie tying some rope to a tree branch. Then the pony noticed that it had a noose. The pink pony gasped as Trixie put the noose over her neck.

"Hay Trixie! That's not how you play on a swing!" Pinkie Pie shouted.

Trixie glared at the pink pony. "It's not a..." but the pink pony pulled her head out of the noose. Then Pinkie Pie put her hoof through it and started to swing.

"Trixie demands that you knock it off." the blue unicorn commanded. The pink earth pony jumped off then noticed that Trixie wasn't smiling.

"What's wrong?" she asked.

Trixie sat down and sighed. "Trixie is sick and tired of all the bulling and teasing. So Trixie thought that the world would be a better place if she didn't exist."

Pinkie Pie gasped. "If you do that then all the bronies watching this will be in outrage!"

"Trixie is confused." Pinkie Pie pulled out a computer from her saddle bag.

"If your gone then Forest Rain's song about you will be for nothing, every fanfic about you will be pointless, and the comics about you will all so be pointless."

Trixie started at Pinkie Pie blankly. "Who's Forest Rain and what's a fanfic?" she asked.

The pink pony shook her head. "Never mind that, just watch this." Then the pink pony pushed the play button and Trixie watched the video curiously.

Once the video ended, the blue unicorn gasped in shock. "Trixie never knew she was so loved." the unicorn confessed.

Pinkie Pie beamed. "well now that you know all this Trixie then I want to see you smile!"

"Thank you Pinkie Pie. Now the GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE! will start from scratch and rise to the top once again!" the blue unicorn yelled. Then she smiled, waved goodbye to the party pony, and headed towards Saddle Arabia since not all of the ponies there hated her.

Once Trixie left, Pinkie Pie put the computer away and smiled. "Works every time." she said to herself. Pinkie Pie was about to leave but saw the rope, put her hoof threw it, and started to swing. Suddenly, the noose tightened and her was hoisted up into the tree. "Whoops." she giggled.

Two months later, Trixie came into town and she set up a new stage. Ponies were reluctant to watch the magic show at first. However, when they all saw Pinkie Pie sitting in the front, they decided to join the pink pony.

The magic show was a hit. Even Rainbow Dash and Apple Jack admitted that they liked it. So once the show ended, the two tomboys apologized to the blue unicorn.

"Trixie accepts your apologies." she replied. Then Trixie was greeted by Pinkie Pie.

"That show was super duper amazing!" she shouted with glee.

Trixie blushed. "Well if it weren't for you Pinkie, Trixie wouldn't have been able to put on this amazing show."

Pinkie beamed. "Well, if you want, we could swing on the rope for old time sakes."

Trixie gulped. "Some other time. Trixie is uh very busy." the blue unicorn replied quickly.

Show time!

Trixie looked in the mirror and sighed. After her play in Canterlot, the princesses asked in she could do a private performance. Of course she said yes but now, Trixie is starting to second guess herself.

"What if I mess up?" she asked herself.

"Trixie is the greatest magician ever!" her reflection replied.

Trixie nodded her head. "You're right." Then the blue unicorn put on her hat and cape. She looked at herself in the mirror one last time before heading onto the stage.

"Now the GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE will turn a plain old rock into water." Trixie picked up a stone and started to squeeze it over a cup. Soon it started to turn into water making Luna gasp in awe. Once all the rock turned into water, Trixie handed it to the princesses.

Luna took a sip and her eyes widened. "This is the best water I have ever tasted."

Celestia took a sip and nodded her head. "This is better than the water in Ponyville."

Trixie smiled. So far so good. "Now Trixie will saw a pony in half." a royal guard pulled the colorful box onto the stage then hopped in. Trixie used her magic to levitate a saw. Then she started to cut the box in half. Once she finished cutting the box, she moved the two pieces of the box apart and she could hear clapping from the princesses. The guard smiled and waved. Clearly loving the attention.

"Now Trixie will put him back together." The blue unicorn put the box together then covered the cracks with duck tape. " Now rise!" Trixie commanded. The guard opened the lock with his horn and then jumped out. He took a bow as the princesses clapped in excitement.

"Now for Trixie's final act, she will be turning a statue into life." the same guard dragged a statue of Star Swirl the Bearded on to the stage. The blue unicorn closed her eyes and concentrated on the statue. She dug deep in her heart and she suddenly felt a surge of magic. Trixie grasped onto that surge of power and shot a beam of blue light at the statue. She heard the princesses going wild so Trixie opened her eyes and gasped. There stood the greatest unicorns of all times.

Star Swirl looked around confused. "W...were am I?" he asked.

Celestia walked towards him. "You are in Equestria. And can I just say that I am a huge fan." she squeaked.

The bearded unicorn squinted his eyes and smiled. "Celestia? Is that you? My have you grown."

Luna walked to Trixie's side. "This was the best performance we have ever seen Trixie." Then the young princess handed the blue unicorn a large sack of gold coins.

"Trixie thanks you greatly." She was about to leave when Luna caught up to her again.

"May I ask you a question?" Trixie nodded. "Why do you always speak in third person?"

Trixie smiled. "It's fun. Plus it makes me feel powerful." Trixie explained.

Luna nodded. "Were are you going now?"

The blue unicorn smiled. "I'm going to see an old friend." she replied.

Trixie and Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie walked up to the same tree with the rope still dangling from the branch. She hopped onto it and started to swing.

"May the great and powerful Trixie try the swing?"

The pink pony turned around and then quickly gave the unicorn a bear hug. "I've missed you so much! I know that you probably don't know this but I've been to every single one of your magic show."

Trixie used her magic to get out of Pinkie's iron grip. "Trixie knows. She's seen you in the crowed a couple of times but because Trixie is so busy, she never got a chance to talk to you." the blue unicorn explained.

Pinkie Pie nodded. "I understand." Then she looked at the rope. "So you want to give it a whirl?" she questioned. Trixie nodded.

"Trixie never thought this would be this fun." the unicorn was swinging higher and higher. The cool breeze felt good on her fur.

"So what brings you to Ponyville?" Pinkie Pie hollered.

Trixie teleported next to the pink earth pony. "I wanted to thank you for all you've done." Then she pulled from her hat a small chocolate fountain. It was oozing out silky smooth milk chocolate. Pinkie Pie started to drool. "I bought this in Saddle Arabia for you."

Pinkie Pie took the fountain and stuck her mouth into it. "Chocolaty." she awed. Then the party pony set it carefully on the ground. "I got you a gift too." Pinkie Pie reached into her saddle bag and brought out her party cannon. Then she fired it. Sending confetti, streamers, balloons, and cupcakes into the air. After it all settled, the tree and the grass around them turned into a party.

"What's all this?" Trixie asked in amazement.

"Well since I missed all your birthdays, I thought that I could throw you one big party when you came back." Pinkie Pie explained.

Trixie began to cry happy tears. "Thank you Pinkie Pie. Trixie...I mean I never had a party before. I really love it."

Pinkie Pie beamed. "Well don't just stand there, LET"S PARTY LIKE THERE"S NO TOMORROW!!"

The two friends laid under the tree with their bellies full of cupcakes with too much frosting. Pinkie Pie listened to Trixie as she told the pink pony all about her travels.

"You really turned the statue into life?" Pinkie asked.

Trixie nodded. "Turns out that Celestia is one big fan of Star Swirl the Bearded."

Pinkie laughed. "Wow, and I thought Twilight was his number one fan."

Trixie sat up and handed Pinkie Pie a half full sack of gold coins. "What's this for?" Pinkie asked.

"I never would've had this kind of success without you. So as a token of my gratitude, I want you to have this."

The pink pony shook her head. "Your smile is the best gift you could ever give me Trixie."

As the sun started to set, the two friends waved goodbye to each other. Then they headed their separate ways. Still keeping their friendship close to their hearts.
