After the changelings' failed invasion of Canterlot, Twilight tries to soothe some of Ponyville's rampant paranoia by casting a spell to prove there are no imposters hiding in the town. But her spell leaves her in an alien body, facing a mob of angry ponies who just don't believe her when she says she is Twilight Sparkle.

Or, at least, she was Twilight Sparkle, anyway...

Part two in the Secret Agent Macintosh series, here is part one.

Time travel: a power that could change history, destroy universes, equally capable of protecting all of Equestria or turning it into a living hell, has been thrust into the hooves of none other than the young Apple stallion we all know and love: Big Macintosh. With the only working Vortex Manipulator in Equestria at his disposal he was charged by Torchwood to go back in time and try to save Princess Luna from a powerful enemy. He came back...but not unscarred by the things he saw.

Now, with Discord free and raining chaos down across Equestria, Torchwood calls upon Mac to help maintain order until the Elements of Harmony can deal with the God of Chaos. But as Royal Guards begin to go missing Big Mac and Captain Jack Harkness are forced to deal with a new and deadlier danger.

Applebloom just wanted to spend a day with her friends, crusading for her cutie mark. Instead, she found something even deeper and more troubling about herself. Turns out she's not even a member of the Apple Family by blood. In fact, she's not even truly native to Equestria! She's an alien! An alien robot no less!

Now Applebloom will have to deal with the reality of her origins and try to cope with them and her newfound abilities as she moves towards her future; a future that just might never come to be if her new foes have anything to say about it. Decepticons are, after all, a monstrous cabal.

Now, it's up to Applebloom to light Equestria's darkest hour.

Two months ago, a changeling posing as Rainbow Dash tried to abduct Twilight. Nopony was hurt, but Twilight became a bit paranoid--how could she make sure something like that wouldn't happen again? The best thing she could think of was to invent a spell, empowered with her full might as princess, that would forcibly remove the disguise of any changeling in the vicinity.

It's testing day, and Ponyville's about to get twenty percent buggier . . .

AU taking place between seasons 3 and 4. Trigger warning for one scene of implied dubcon.

Ponyville is a dusty little town that wasn't very well-known. Gradually, it's gotten more popular over the years, because some great ponies have left and risen to the top. Grace Manewitz and Coco Pommel are not those sort of ponies, yet.

And if they keep ditching work like this, they certainly won't be going anywhere...
