Only a few months ago, Starlight finally rekindled her friendship with Sunburst, and despite promising to stay in touch, the planned letters never surfaced, by either. To this end, Twilight has brought Starlight back to the Crystal Empire, for little other reason than to make the two of them get closer - much closer - for a few days. But after learning from Sunburst of a new artifact discovered in the Empire that he is currently studying, Starlight is presented with a choice: with the power to rewrite the past entirely with little consequence, should one do it?

Manipulating the past can have drastic consequences, even if all intentions were for others' good...

Twilight Sparkle and Flash Sentry's first meeting was not of this world. She knows their love was meant to be. Thanks to her recent assignments in the Crystal Empire, their relationship seems to be blossoming into something more lately. However, the ponies' current duties as a princess and a crystal royal guard pull them in different directions. Can the magic of their connection overcome the challenges of duty and distance, or will their love remain a distant star in the night sky of Equestria?

Inspiration

Everypony wants to find their knight in shining armor. Their true love. Their happily ever after. But can life really become a fairytale? Can the princess really get her knight?

It's the night of the Grand Galloping Gala and every pony is dressed up and refined for this most enchanting evening. But for Twilight Sparkle, it's more of a bitter sweet evening. She's fallen in love for the first time, but doesn't know how to handle it. The stallion of her dreams is the Royal Guard, Flash Sentry, and she's too shy and insecure to see if he returns her feelings. So Princess Cadance steps in to help her sister-in-law have the most romantic evening of her life.
