Trixie learns why Forbidden Spells at the Canterlot Library are forbidden. Things look grim and neither mare think they will be able to do anything about it before the deadline at sundown.

Perhaps they will discover one important thing.

Aria Blaze was finally sick of being pushed around by Adagio and she was tired of Sonata's uselessness. But after a couple years on her own, desperation causes her heart to open to opportunities she'd never considered.

Micro Chips was in his own world of math and school. Not aware of what living really was about.

This is set in the EQG universe. The time: Several years after The Battle of the Bands, and Twilight and her friend’s graduation. Most are through college and some like Micro Chips are in post grad work.

Aria Blaze will discover that Micro Chips has skills that might lift her out of her current dilemma, and it will change her mind and perhaps her heart on some other things.

Twilight asks Rarity an important question: Will she stay the night?

Her answer is almost always the same. Maybe that's why Twilight keeps asking.

Sunset has Twilight over for their weekly Movie Night when she notices something upsetting: Twilight isn't happy. Sunset tries to pull her girlfriend out of her funk and get to the bottom of what's bothering her, but what can you say when the one you love reveals she's afraid because her life is about to end?

Twilight is still suffering effects from when she turned into Midnight Sparkle and cant find a way to put her past behind her. Its stopping her from moving forward in her life, stopping her from asking Sunset out, stopping her from being herself. She's living her life in fear. Sunset knows what Twilight is dealing with and maybe she can help her see the light that everyone see's in her.

Now Twilight's parents and a surprise are coming for a visit. Twilight and AJ are hopping that questions that were unanswered before will be answered.

Twilight's in a bit of a pickle. On one hand, two years of marriage with Rainbow Dash have been absolutely wonderful. On the other, well... two years of marriage have passed without a single thing happening in the bedroom.

Why? Well, that's one mystery even she can't seem to solve.

Then Scootaloo comes home from school and asks Rainbow a question that makes everything crystal clear.

Rainbow has no idea what she's talking about.

This Hearth's Warming, Bonbon wants to finally introduce her parents to Lyra. And also to make a happy announcement.

Twilight Sparkle, even after discovering friendship and being elevated to The Princess of Friendship has still maintained her love and affinity toward books. At every opportunity she gets, when not interacting with friends or family, she has her muzzle in a book. It’s her comfort zone, she feels secure and happy.

But truly happy?

Fluttershy had friends before Twilight Sparkle came to Ponyville to oversee the Summer Sun Festival. In spite of these friends, she’d rather have stayed in her cottage surrounded by a plethora of woodland creatures than actually interact with her fellow ponies, even her friends, sometimes. Now after several years of the group becoming closer, Fluttershy had come out of her shell, at least most of the way. But she could still be insecure and to herself quite easily.

But does she really want to maintain that shield of isolation?

Now something happens to open their hearts to the next stage of friendship. And discovering that a close friend may be the answer to making their lives complete. Filling a void that neither acknowledged that was there. And they’ll have to admit to feelings they never let themselves acknowledge.
