This story is a sequel to The Great Slave King

It has been nearly five hundred years since the events chronicled in the Book of Earth: The Great Slave King transpired. Since then, the man made a god has been busy trying to introduce the technology from the land of his birth to the magical realm of Equestria. As the years passed, the Lord of Earth, no longer a godling, has grown into his powers and has become a force to be reckoned with. Under the tutelage of the Ladies of Air and Summer, he has become as great as any of the other Prime Elemental deities.

With the assistance of his servants, Scourge the Hunter, founder and master of the Order of the Shadow; Arch Duke Fifi le Yipyap, once the Slave King's master now turned slave, and regent of the Domain of Earth; and Nightmare, the Slave King's first creation and constant companion, he has turned the wild and untamed lands of his realm into a wealthy and prosperous nation.

Now approaching his five hundredth year as the Lord of Earth, the Slave King is about to meet the greatest threat he has ever faced. Once again, the Slave King must stand alone against a unified pantheon plotting his downfall and eventual reenslavement. When presented with the pantheon's final ultimatum, will he stand his ground and fight, capitulate to their many demands, or twist their schemes against them?

The Dawn Militia and Nightmare Moon's armies continue to wage war across Equestria under the eternal night. Arc 1: The First Day

Author's Note: Hey guys! This is my first story, so constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll take this moment to say that I own nothing but my main character, the plot, and a few surprises which will appear later. All other characters and linked music are NOT mine. A word on music. At times I might offer two links to a song. The first is the OFFICIAL version, the second is the closest approximation to how I feel it is sung in the story. Just warning you, because I know some people hate covers. This story is rated teen for occasional language, implied sex, and gruesome imagery (mostly late in the story and in flashbacks). In Equestria, humans serve the ruling pony class. Their lack of magic makes it near impossible to survive on their own, and so they depend on their rulers to protect and help them, and put a roof over their heads. But on Earth, and in many other solar systems, their strength is the pinnacle of hope, as they assist those they can in their frantic search for the ones who came before.

Near the edge of the humans' empire, The USSF Monarch stumbles upon Pony kind on Tango 126, one of the many targets during their hunt for the Precursors. Their curiosity is peaked, and John Punch, a high ranking Elite, is sent in disguised as one of the many Human occupants on the planet, to learn of their culture, and the Precursors' presence on this planet.

Now the respected veteran must face the social challenges of being thrust into a gender reversed, pony dominated society.

Twilight Sparkle is investigating some old catacombs when a letter arrives from Princess Luna. It depicts a memory she had forgotten and research into it revealed that 'The Ancients' had made it to the moon without the use of magic. Luna was putting a team together to go and excavate the ruins she'd seen during her thousand year exile. What they find there may be more than they hoped for.

Rated Teen for gore and language.

My name is Ryan Chaser. I am currently the only human living in a world filled with sapient ponies. I have lived in solitude on this world for almost seven years now, and have so far been able to keep my life a secret. Recently, however, it is getting more and more difficult to stay hidden like I have. It's only a matter of time before something happens and my existence is revealed to the world.
