> Revenge from the Fallen > by MarcusBullet > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Postponed Anger > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Revenge of the Fallen By MarcusBullet Authors Note: Hey guys, Marcus here!! Ok, this is my first MLP story, and to clarify, I’m not a Brony, I’m more of the person that watches and makes fan stories. While on that topic, visit my other account on Fanfiction.net (Theunknownsoldier321). Righto, This story has been on my mind for some time and let’s go over some stuff; this is a HiE but with a reason, this is also Equestria in Earth, Gore, Violence, War etc. And at some parts I used the MLP site to gather information... Other then that, let us venture in the Revenge from the Fallen. I do not own My Little Pony "To achieve revenge, one must sacrifice himself for others." Equestria; The home of all happiness, laughter and magic. It is also the land of the magical creatures called Ponies. They all ranged from the simple Earth ponies and the magical Unicorns, to the Fast-moving Pegasus that ruled the sky. And they lived in different parts of the world; Cloudsdale that house the Pegasus, Ponyville that house all races and the Capital city of Canterlot. This place is the area where the ruler lives; Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. These two ponies are a different breed altogether, they were both Pegasus and Unicorn; a alicorn. Princess Celestia is the head ruler of Equestria, whose power is so strong that it rises and sets the sun. While her sister and co-ruler Princess Luna has the power to rise and fall the moon. Together, they are the gods of Equestria and bring peace and happiness to the world. But as it is said, good cannot co-exist without evil. During their ruling, several attempts were made to cease the peacefulness and the joy of the world. There were the only two major incidents; Nightmare Moon; The ponies, played in the day but "shunned" the night and slept through it, which made the younger unicorn grow bitter, eventually refusing to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. Her bitterness transformed her into a "Wicked mare of darkness", Nightmare Moon. The elder sister reluctantly harnessed the power of the Elements of Harmony and "banished her permanently in the moon," taking responsibility for both sun and moon, maintaining harmony in Equestria. And Discord.Discord is a combination of many body parts from different creatures. His head is horse-like, much different from the other character's head styles, with a deer antler on the right, a goat horn on the left, one long fang, different-sized pupils, a snake tongue, and a goat beard. He has the right arm of a lion, the left claw of an eagle, the right leg of a lizard, and the left leg of a goat. In addition, he has a bat's right wing, a Pegasus' left wing, a horse's mane and a dragon's tail with a white tail tuft. The shape of his body resembles that of a snake. Discord is a mischievous, manipulative trickster who pulls gags on his targets through the use of his powerful magic, illusions, and hypnotism, with little to no consideration towards his victims. He has a sense of showmanship and drama, preferring to be playful towards his victims before getting down to business, even mocking and bantering with Celestia and the six main ponies in Canterlot Tower. He was defeated and turned to stone by the elements of harmony. * used MLP information site... ^^ And after that, there was peace. That is until now... The sun was beginning to set on the horizon, bringing the day to a slow end. The orange glow of the stunning sun covered all of the towns and cities, like that of a artist. On the near tip Mountains of Canterlot, was a Rusty metal door. It was so rusted that the only thing that looked normal was a few words: " - n- t -t r-e". And what was not like anything of the world. Deep inside of the dark cavern was a blue statue. It was bulky; about the size of an earth pony. A single object spiked at the front, that pointed towards a blue rock, thirty three inches exactly. Then, it began to crack. The spider web like cracks appeared on the rock and soon, shattered. A object fell to the ground making a chick- kakick sound. It was charcoal black with a banana like bottom, axe-like handle at the front and back, a short pipe at the front, a arch at the top and a long metal object at the back. Soon another sound of cracking echoed the empty cave, it was the statue. The similar spider-like cracks appeared in the middle before shooting all around the object. The cracks look like lightning strikes as it consumed the whole statue before-- CCCCRRRAAACCCKKKK!!!! The ice-like shards exploded in a bright blue light, sending them all around the room. But in the middle was a creature. It was not a pony, nor a Gryphon. It was a odd creature. It hit the ground with a tho-mph, its forelegs landing by its sides. its hind legs were behind the bizarre alien, all covered with black clothing. its hoofs were round and covered with red shoes. On its back was a black and red backpack that was over its shoulder and around to the corner of the bag. A black coat covered its body, head and forelegs, completely covering its whole body in black. A red sash was on its right foreleg, worn form age. But is front hoofs were extreme; five pointy claws were on its hoofs, like that of a dragon but the tips were blunt and not scaled. The creature position remained motionless, only its chest rising up and down. Soon, its claws twitched. "Urgh..." A groan echoed the empty room, but also dignified that it's a male. Slowly, its forelegs became arched and its claws flat on the ground. It steadily lifted himself up, almost like a push up and his knees became supporters. A strained hiss came from the dark hood on his head as he finally got on his knees. "Where... The hell am I?" His voice was gruff and dry, due to the lack of water in its mouth. Its hand came towards his face a rubbed its mouth. The creature soon looked around the cave, taking in the darkness that he was one with. Its head soon found the object on the ground. It reached out, grabbed it and brought it close to himself. "My rifle..." His harsh voice came out of the hood, twisting the 'Rifle' to assess the damage. None. "But why is it--" His suddenly screamed in anguish, dropped the rifle and clutched his head. Mental images assaulted his mind, bringing pure pain to his brain. CHAD NO! MAN DOWN! HOLD THIS LINE! What will happen to us? I SHOULDN'T HAVE TRUSTED YOU, PRINCESS CELESTIA! Then, it ceased. The pain and the images vanished, leaving the creature in the dark room. His breath was harsh and rapid, still trying to shake the reminders away. "That's right," He said to himself, picking up the rifle "The war." He stood on his hind legs reaching 6 feet, only two feet away from hitting the roof of the cavern. His head looked left and right, looking for anyway to escape. There was a corridor that lead down into the darkness. The alien went into his pocket on his jacket, grabbed a small cylinder object. With a click, a blight white light lit the room. The walls were dark blue with cracks and holes, as was the roof and floor. And despite the light, the face of the creature is still not shown. With small steps and the 'Rifle' to his side, he began to walk. His footsteps echoed in the corridor as he ventured down the dark, cold path. He leveled the rifle, tucked away the light and gripped the little handle at the bottom front. In front of him was a rusted door, wary of age. And with a simple tap, it fell... ... ... ... ... ... ... Down the mountain side. The bi-pedal creature peered out of the exposed hole and scanned the area. A gasp came from his mouth after a while. "What... What happened to Tokyo?" He said in surprise. He eyed the landscape and a growl escaped from the hood. "Solar Queen and Heaven King, when I find you..." He put his hand into the arched top of the rifle and pulled back a bolt, "I'm going to kill you." A/n: Thats it for chapter one, comment, like and favorite. Also, I'm not good at drawing, so if anyone want to make a title page, PM me!!! Thanks!!!!!! Also, i need a beta, anyone wanna do it, PM me :) :) :) Hatred is a very underestimated emotion. Jim Morrison The bi-pedal creature slowly turned his head to the right, spying the vast open landscape. He needed to get higher so he can find the nearest town to gather information about this land. Without hesitation, he started going up the mountain side. The blood started to flow though his body as he escalated the rocky terrain, minding the loose rocks. His head would scan his surroundings, looking for any signs of danger or any towns. After ten minutes of climbing, he reached the peak of the large mountain. Sucking in the sweet air, he scanned the world below. Just below him was a large castle that started in the middle of the mountain and finishing close to the top. The castle was large and had many towers that were painted with white, purple and gold. The alien also saw numerous waterfalls that appeared on the face of the mountain, and was directed east of the castle. The water fell straight to the bottom where a river had form, snaking towards a small village that was about an estimate one-hundred klicks away. His attention however, was drawn to the castle. He slowly crouched to the ground and stared at the medieval-like city. “If I was the king and queen, I would be in that castle. And knowing them, they will be at the highest point.” He thought, using his hand to point out the largest tower. Then a problem occurred; the said tower was far away, being on the very edge of the castle. He cursed under his breath. “Looks like I will have to get all the way down there, sneak through and take them out. And my trusty G36KV will do just the trick.” He grinned behind his hooded jacket. His thrill to kill skyrocketed and he was shaking all over. “I can’t wait to see your blood flow freely you bastards,” He spoke out loud, slowly standing and then he shouted to the world “We will have our justice!” Quickly after he said that, he started his decent towards the city. Princess Celestia’s ears perked up. She swore she just heard a voice. She soon shrugged it off after a while, thinking that it was in her head. The princess sat on her throne, looking at the empty room. The only other ponies in the room along with her were the golden clad unicorn guards but you could pass them off as statues. “Guards?” He soothing voice cooed out, grabbing the two guard’s attention. “Yes your highness?” One guard answered as his partner stood in interest. “Did you hear that noise just a few seconds ago?” She might have shrugged it off, but she had to be sure. “Nay your highness.” The guard said, looking at the other guard. The unicorn shook his head, denying as well. “Ok, thank you.” She sighed in relief as she shifted her weight to get comfortable. The guards nodded and resumed their positions beforehand. The bi-pedal creature leapt from one roof to another, being silent like a snake hunting its prey. His anger had tenfold when he had started his search for the royals; he had discovered that ponies were everywhere. Earth ponies scattered the ground among the Unicorns while the Pegasus roamed around the sky. If it wasn’t the darkness of the moon that consumed the land, he would have been spotted and that would not be pretty for anyone. He stopped on the last house that was closest to the large tower which he assumed where the king and queen stayed. A large wall obstructed anyone to view what’s inside. The alien guessed the height of the wall was three meters. Beside the wall was a graveled path were ponies trotted along, offering the alien no chance to cross. He had to think; Where to go from here? What are the consequences of doing so? What’s more effective? He suddenly retreated back behind a nearby chimney as two golden armored Earth ponies unhurriedly marched underneath him. “Royal guards.” He snarled as memories came back, and none of them were good. His right hand had left the grip of the rifle to the right side of his waist, slowly grabbing a handle of an item. He leaned out to locate the guards and saw none. His hand released the grip on his waist and placed it back on the handle of the rifle. “Ok, behind that wall is the castle where hopefully the royals are. So instead of charging headfirst into a shitstorm, I should take to the left and go around. Once there, get on top of the building, scale to the top and with two shots, vengeance will be served.” He grinned in his hood as he planned his assassination. After a while, the street became clear as a Unicorn had taken a left into another street. The alien took the chance, jumped down and sprinted across. The bag bounced on his back as he dashed across the now-deserted path. As soon as he got close to the wall, he placed his right foot on the wall and pushed up. His left hand shot up and grabbed the edge of the wall. Using his feet, he hoisted himself up and over behind the wall. Instantly, he darted towards the side of the castle. By now, his heart was pounding against his chest as he ran across the field. Bushes lined against the tower, giving the creature a hiding point. He slowed down to a jog and slipped into the bushes. And it was good timing. A lone royal guard turned around the corner of the edge of the tower. It trekked across the green grass where the being once stood. The creatures thirst for blood had became unbearable, and he had just found his source reliever. Said being quietly placed his rifle against the wall, slipped his right hand to his waist and pulled out a twenty five centimeter blade. It was patterned with black and grey with one sharp edge while the other side had a serrated edging. A small symbol was printed on the face of the blade. It was traced in red of two wings that spread out with a dagger in the middle. Underneath the image was wording. It said “Who dares wins”. He grabbed the bush in front of him and rustled it trying to grab the guard’s attention. It worked. The pony stopped in mid stride and turned its head towards the noise with an eyebrow raised. It began to walk to the bush where the bi-pedal being was crouched, its blade in a jabbing position. The creature held his breath as it gained distance between each other. The guard is so close now; he could hear its breathing. With that, his muscles tensed. “He—” the guard never got to finish. The being sprang from the bushes with the knife going forwards, aiming for the guard’s neck. It entered though the guard’s throat, flooding its lungs with blood. The only sounds that came out of the guard’s mouth were gurgles and the flowing of blood. The murderer grabbed the pony and dragged it in the bush. He pulled out the blade from its throat and rammed it in its heart, instantly killing the pony. The being ripped out his knife, wiped it on the dead ponies coat and sheathed it. He turned to his rifle and reached for it. Suddenly, a spike of pain stabbed inside of his brain. He clutched his head and before he knew it, his vision went white. Flashback Dust plumed into the sky, casting a deathly grey shadow over his prone body. He could smell the sulfur and gunpowder from the explosions around him. BOOM! A distant explosion rocked underneath him while a fiery ball shot up in the air. He slowly got to his feet, dismissing the excruciating pain all around his body. He wanted to scream in pain and in shock, but he had no voice. The constant ringing from the explosions didn’t help him try to think. All around him was like a war zone; his friends lying on the ground, dead to the world. Sides of buildings were destroyed by explosions and others were reduced to ruble. Children were crying and fleeing the loud conflict. The disorientated man saw one child dragging another child that had no legs with him. A trail of dark blood followed with him as he dragged the other student away. Fresh tears ran down his face as he saw the event unfold. PWOFF! His head slowly turned to the left and saw a pink plume of smoke burst out from the other side of the school. He suddenly knew that his best friend was there. With slow movements, he stalked to his destination. He clutched his left arm with his right hand in an effort to stop the bleeding. The ground underneath was cracked and had large holes from unknown reasons. The man looked up and saw a V-formation of Pegasus in the sky, making him believe that they were the cause of the destruction. As he trekked, his hearing was coming fro and he now can hear the screams of the children and teenagers. Some were wails of despair and mixed with cries of pain. It was so intense that anyone would’ve heard it from America. He gripped his schooling shirt and ripped it off, exposing his chest and fresh wounds. The shirt that once was a symbol of the school was nothing more than a rag with rips and dirt. He placed the ruined shirt on his wound and tied a knot with his teeth. Now the wound was covered, he walked to the now-dying pink smoke. Then he heard noise. It sounded like a horse trotting on concrete, but brushed the sound off, thinking that it was something else. He then took the right turn— --and stared. The building had collapsed on an angle, spraying debris across the ground. But that’s not what got him. In the fallen wood and rocks was a body. It was facing down on the ground with the rubble on his legs and back. Its brown hair was damped with red blood and pooling onto the ground. And in the middle of the puddle was a necklace. A Ying and Yang symbol that now is cracked in the middle. The man instantly knew who it was. It was his best friend. “Shit, Chad!” He was surprised that his voice was working. But never the less, he ran to his fallen comrade, pushing away the rocks and plaster. “Come on mate, we have to—” He stopped in mid sentence. As soon as he shifted the last stone, his face went green and his eyes went wide. Chad; who once was at tall as him was reduced to half. From the middle of his back down was gone, leaving behind his intestines and lots of blood. The man turned his head and vomited from the site. His best friend, his brother, amigo is dead. The teen cried hard in remorse of his friend, forgetting everything around him. Warm tears fell freely from his blue eyes onto the pool of blood underneath. He timidly grabbed his mates head and looked at his face. The teen’s eyes were wide with blood leaking out of the corners, almost like tears. His irises were in full extent, further proving that he is deceased. Chad’s mouth was agape with a few teeth missing, more blood escaped from his mouth. Chad’s once playful and childish face was now something from a nightmare; one that the teen cannot wake up. The teen clutched his head and cried to the skies, demanding them his brother back. “Kylar?” A voice yelled out, snapping the teen from his cries. The teen now named Kylar turned his head to look behind himself. In front of him was them. It was a pony. But to be precise; it is a earth pony. It had a orange coat with a red mane that flared around his head. Its green eyes stared at the crumbled teen in front of him with remorse. Kylar knew that voice from anywhere, “Joseph?” His voice croaked. “Yeah man, it’s me.” He responded while nodding to the distraught teenager. “Wh—what happened?” Kylar asked, holding Chad’s head closer to his naked chest. His blood coated the front of his light skin, but he didn’t seem to notice. “They attacked bro, they bombed us with… Bombs and this pink stuff.” He wanted to continue, but the look in Kylar’s eyes stopped him from progressing. He thought he saw the pits of hell and a spot was reserved for him. “You… You did this…” Kylar’s voice was low and a finger was pointing to Joseph. His breathing was becoming heavy and his eyebrows were furrowed deeply. He dropped Chad’s head as he slowly stood up. Chad’s head hit the puddle of blood, spraying blood across Kylar’s black cargo pants. Joseph started to panic as he saw the murderous eyes coming towards him. “Hey man, it wasn’t me. It was them mate, it was them!” He tried to reason with the enraged student. Kylar didn’t seem to hear him because he kept saying over and over again, “You did this…” Joseph began to walk backwards in a desperate way to leave but couldn’t. His green eyes were locked with blue as he stalked him. A wild snarl worked on Kylar’s lips as he got into reaching distance. The pony had backed himself to a wall. He was trapped now. “You fucking scumbags kill him…” He growled as he lifted his bloody hand to Joseph. And with a quick thrust, he grabbed his neck and squeezed his wind pipe. “K—Kyla—Kylar?!” He gasped while trying to use his hoofs to released himself from the human. “Die.” With that said, Kylar squeezed harder and with a violent yank, he ripped his throat out from his neck. Blood sprayed out from the wound, covering Joseph’s and Kylar’s face in red, sticky liquid. Joseph’s eyes were wide and were staring at Kylar’s dull blue eyes. His dirty blonde hair was covered in red and brown as it swayed in the breeze. After a few seconds, Joseph's eyes rolled to the back of his head and his body went limp. The pony is dead to the world. Kylar huffed and tossed the body and the Trachea away. He stared at the discarded body and turned to his dead friend and said, “For you mate.” Flashback ended Kylar snapped out of his memory, wondering where that one came from. And to astonishment, he had made it up the tower with little difficult. He was now in a garden with different types of statues, plants and vegetation. There was also a fountain in the middle of the lush green patch. “What the hell?” He said quietly to himself as he looked behind himself. He remembered reaching for his G36KV, and then he was here. What about the guards? Did they notice him? What happened? “Don’t worry about it, you’re here and safe.” He thought as he slowly sneaked across the garden. There were no guards in the area and the moon was at its peek. He soon spotted the castle where the tower sprouted. He had walked around the building from the start of the walk when he could’ve just climbed the walls. He swore at himself before charging towards the fortress. He never saw a set of eyes following his every move. A cold shutter went down Princess Celestia’s spine as she read a document that was sent by her faithful student; Twilight Sparkle. She looked to her sides in an effort to find the source of the sudden chill. One of her guards spotted her discomforted face and asked, “Is some of the matter, your Highness?” She crooked her head to him with a smile and said smoothly, “No, it’s quite fine. Thank you.” He nodded and stood back at attention. Meanwhile, Princess Celestia dropped her smile and scanned the area with watchful eyes. She knew something was going to happen soon, but when is the agonizing question. She pushes the problem away for a while as she kept reading the letter from her student. After about ten minutes, the tension had vanished as she finished the letter. She let out a loose chuckle at her students report. She looked at her guards that had hardly moved all day and said, “Well, looks like its time to hit the hay, you can leave now and thank you for looking after me.” They turned and bowed to her in response. They then faced the front and began to march. But strangely, the left one remained still with his head locked to the roof. The guard is staring at shadow behind a pillar on the roof and the tool in its— “Princess!” He leapt from his position and pushed Celestia from her throne. A loud crack and bang identical to lightning echoed around the hall. A split second later, a hole about the size of a walnut stuck the wooden chair where the Princess head was positioned. This all happened in a time frame of five seconds. The other guard charged a lightning spell and fired it towards the Assassin. The shadow leapt from its position and evaded the spell with ease. The lighting stuck its last position, sending rocks and splinters everywhere. The creature landed in the middle of the hall on two legs, completely unharmed. Its weird tool was in its front hoofs and was shrouded in black clothing. Just what is this creature? Princess Celestia got up from the ground despite from the meter drop and faced its would-be killer. The guards stood in front of the Princess, defending her from the bi-pedal fiend. “Who are you?!” She shouted to the weird creature in the middle of the hall. She took the creature’s image; Black jacket, black pants, red shoes, and a red sash on its arm. She stared at it and after a while, her heart ceased movement. Its hand reached for its hood and flicked it off. The cold shiver before didn’t compare the one she felt now. Her whole body became cold, eyes wide and mouth gawked. She stared at its face with fear. It had dull blue eyes that stared at her, dirty blonde hair and a scar on its cheek that was shaped like; ‘ ’ The lips on the alien moved and a gruff voice laced with anger boomed out, “Remember me, bitch!” A/n: And cut. Holy shit that took time… But ta-da (Face plants on desk) You know the routine; Like, favor and comment. Next chapter should be soon. ~Chao MarcusBullet > The Great Escape > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Revenge of the Fallen Chapter 3: The Great Escape A/n: I got nothing. And now I got a AWESOME BETA (Chaotic Pony). Thank you once again my good friend. And soon the ponies shall meet Slaughter! Anger and rage are two of the most powerful emotions and will often lead to success for the person who is angry! Ten minutes ago Kylar placed his right foot in a gap on the side of the wall, giving him leverage for his left hand to grasp another hole above him. It was a slow progress for him as he climbed the rocky walls. It was the only way to go. Going inside would be the stupidest move in mankind; who knows how many ponies were inside. Although it is a beautiful sight to see them die before his eyes, he had other priorities. And he was determined to do it. Even if killing low-ranking ponies and guards may seem monstrous and inhuman, he believed it’s ‘an eye for an eye’. So for each kill, it brought him a sense of accomplishment and his thirst for blood to simmer down. Before he started his climb he placed the rifle into his backpack so that he could use both hands for the long ascend. He had already passed the castle-like building to the side and was still going. Kylar’s plan had already been thought out from the start; get in, find them, shoot to kill, and bail from the area he just came from. He will have to be fast because the guards would hear the loud gunshots. He grinned wildly as he saw the images in his head of the dead king and queen, on the ground with blood spurting from their throats. It would be a marvelous sight to witness. And his greatest goal would be achieved: avenge the fallen. 'Hehe, humanity shall have vengeance' He thought darkly as he shifted his right hand to another hole-- “—something of the matter, Princess?” A muffled voice called out from the blue. This startled Kylar as his right hand and foot slipped from the holes and left him dangling from his left hand and foot. He quickly gathered himself and reclaimed his grip on the rocks. Kylar’s head looked left and right, trying to find the noise. The moon was at its fullest extent and little to no clouds and as far as he could see; there were no Pegasus to be found. So where did the sound come from? “No, it’s quite fine. Thank you.” The voice was female and it cam from the building underneath him. Princess… He muzzled, and then it hit him like a train with the hulk on it, Princess Celestia! Dark thoughts shrouded his mind, bringing back awful memories that seemed to be like yesterday. That was another thing. Before he was frozen by Solar and Heaven, the area underneath of him was covered with destroyed towers and a lot of burning buildings had vanished. Maybe it hadn’t been a day, or two. How long he was out was his dreaded question. What happened to the resistance? What about the SDF? Did we win? He shook his head and began to ascend. He would think into that later on after he killed the queen and king. As he scaled the wall, his thoughts came back to the Princess. He again halts and looked at the building below. As he stared, a steadily grin worked on his face. He thought of a different plan; 'If I kill Celestia now, the king and queen would morn over her now and while they bellow in sorrow, I’ll hit them hard. Payback is a fuckin’ bitch.' With the new goal in his head, he began going back down the wall. It was easier due to the previous holes he found as he went up in the first place. After a few minutes, he landed on the corner of the building with a soft tack. He took off his bag. The bag had only one strap that went over his shoulder and to his waist and three pockets. One large one, a small one, and an underneath pocket at the bottom of the bag. Kylar unzipped the main pocket and took out his rifle. As he placed it on the roof, his hand retracted and began to look though his bag. He pushed away a bottle of water, four identical banana-clips that were like the one in the rifle, a large red bag with the letters ‘Skittles’ going across the middle of the packet. He pushed it away with a small mutter “Maybe later” and continued his search for something. His hand brushed against a white piece of paper that was tucked in the back of the bag. Kylar slowly took it out and held it in view. The moon was bright enough to see what is on the paper. It was a photo. On it was a male and female human. The female had long blonde hair that went past her shoulders. She had hazel eyes that blended with her light skin and noticeable freckles. She had perfect lips that were set on a beautiful smile. The male had brown messy hair that the fringe nearly covered his eyes. His eyes were dull blue that stuck from the light tan on his face. His lips were curled to a grin and had an arm hanging over the females shoulders. They both wore light blue shirts with the slogan ‘SENIOR’ on the sides. And on the bottom was writing. It said; Kylar & Sofi <3 4EVA Kylar looked at it plainly as he fiddled with the sheet of paper. In his mind however, a painful sting worked in his head. Sofi... He thought solemnly as he packed it back into his bag. He still remembered her laugh, her enchanting eyes and her personality; Outgoing and Loveable. It’s been a year since she had committed suicide over Skype. The Earth ponies had taken over Stockholm and were gathering every single resident, forcing them to change into the ponies. Sofi didn’t want to change and wanted to stay human. So she called Kylar and talked for the last time, told him that she loved him and will forever, took the M9 that was in her dad’s room, and turned it to her head. Kylar still flinches at the disorientated BANG from the video to this day. He should have saved her, but he was in Japan while she was in Sweden with her family. This fueled his hatred towards the ponies. He swore that he would kill each and every one of them. Back the task at hand, he kept searching for his desired item. His hand pushed away a cylinder and a black box about the size of his hand. Kylar scrapped the bottom of the bag with his fingers and found his desired item. He slowly pulled it out and held it in his hand. It was a Ying and Yang pendent that is about the size of a twenty cent coin. There was also a crack down the middle of the jewel. It was Chad’s necklace that Kylar took after the bombings of his school. After he killed Joseph he went to Chad’s body and took off the jewel from the bloody pool. To this day, every time before he goes into a firefight, he takes the jewel and prays to it. Since then, he had conquered every firefight disregarding the last battle between him and the royals. He even dubbed it as ‘Mankind’s final struggle’. After that, he did not know what happened afterward. Kylar collapsed his fingers around it and placed his head on his hand. He silently prayed: “The lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? Yes, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; Your rod and your staff they comfort me. Amen.” With that said, he chucked the necklace back into his bag. Kylar then zipped the bag up and threw it onto his back. He was not religious or anything. But his religious friend, Billy, had asked him to say this verse every time he went for a conflict; before him, all Kylar had ever said was: “For you my friend, For you my brother, I will kill each and every one of them.” Kylar looked over the edge of the building. To say, he was about four stories high from the ground. Green grass covered the ground, swaying in the wind that was cool to Kylars face. He sucked it a lungful of sweet air. “Let’s do this.” He said quietly to himself. He leaned over the corner to observe his target. But sadly, a long red curtain behind the windows obstructed his view. He did, however, spot stone pillars that was in between the Curtain and the window. Underneath it stood a stone platform for a reason Kylar did not know. But that is pure gold for him; a view point. Kylars body lie flat as he reached for the window, seeing if he could get into the building. Luck seemed to be on his side as the window clicked from its position and slowly opened the tiniest bit. The assassin slipped his fingers around the edge and with slow and deliberate movements, opened it to its extent. Satisfied, he pulled away and stood on his two legs. 'Soon, their conquest will fall to ruins!' He mentally laughed in his head. Then it hit him. Ruins… Ruins… Runes! With haste, he quickly grabbed his right sleeve and pulled up. Apart from the scars that were caused by blades, there were numerous black images that ran along his forearm. It looked like they were burnt on his arm. The images were like: He gave a relieved sigh as saw the ink on his arm. 'Odd… Why aren’t they glowing like usual…' He shook his head and pulled down the sleeve. He decided to look into that later- he suddenly cursed at himself. He should have looked at it earlier. It was his life source. Without it, he would be fucked from the start. He was having a really bad day. Kylar picks up the rifle from the ground and slipped it in-between his back and bag, securing it so it wouldn't slip. He then grabbed the corner of the roof and slid off. His whole body was dangling in the air and slightly swaying in the cool breeze. Kylar lifted his left foot to the open window and got a good grip on the corner of the still. With his left hand, he clasped the corner of the frame and with a grunt, pulled himself in the hole. Kylars feet planted on the stone platform and with his arms, slowly closed the window. He thought if a pegasus did a look over, they would have spotted the open windowpane. Kylar pulled out his rifle once again and silently cocked it. Cick- Clack. The noise sounded so loud for him. His heart rate quickened in adrenaline and anticipation. But that’s not the only reason. He was going to kill Celestia. His once-friend now traitor pony that he knew before. “What? What are they doing here?” “I’m sorry Kylar, I really am!” “What do you mean?” “I told them everything…I’m so—” “The Runic Warrior is in here!” “Why?!” “I’m sor—” “I knew I shouldn’t have trusted you, PRINCESS CELESTIA!” That was the last time Kylar heard from her, and the last time he trusted her. He hated her to the very core of his body. And to make matters worse, it was the day he fought with her parents. He could still feel each hit; hear each explosion and each cry in pain from both sides. What seemed like a whole day of fighting that lead nowhere, they cast their last ice sealing spell. Then black. He pulled away from the memory and to the task at hand. Pure anger flowed through his veins as he pushed away the curtain. Kylar soon saw her. She had aged quite a bite from her growth spurt as well as her mane. The aquatic mane that he remembered being short, was now long and was floating in the air. Her white coat was brighter than he last saw it and the ‘Cutie mark’ on her flank was the sun. Her horn had even grown larger (Da domg dish!) that rived the golden crown on her head. Kylar had never seen the cutie mark and the crown before, but things tend to happen after awhile. 'But how long?' He shouted in his head. A headache began to work upon his head. Without hesitation, he slowly began to lift his rifle up but abruptly halted. He just saw something in his peripherals. Kylar swore he saw a set of glowing green eyes, staring at him from behind the window. He turned his head away from his target and looked outside. The green eyes were gone. There was only the town in the distance. Now satisfied, he turned back in time to hear Celestia say to her guards underneath, “Well, looks like its time to hit the hay, you can leave now and thank you for looking after me.” Kylar finally took notice to the guards underneath. He hated himself now! How could he miss them?! They were right on the bottom of the steps, being absolutely still. 'And unicorns as well.' He muttered under his breath. He sucked in his breath, and lifted his rifle to eye-level. This was it. This was the moment he has been waiting for . The start of a new beginning. His finger slowly lapsed the trigger and with a fina— “Princess!” 'Oh, fuck!' He had been spotted. One of the unicorn guards leapt from his spot, soared through the air and in an effort pushed Celestia away. Kylar would not let that happen. His finger squeezed the trigger. BANG! The sound of the 5.56 NATO round being fired inside rang though the spacious room. A nanosecond later, a copper bullet shot out of the barrel with a flick of flame. It whizzed towards the target to only hit the wooden chair that Celestia once sat in. The guard was close enough to push away the Princess as the bullet collided with the wood. “Fuck.” He swore at himself. He should have shot sooner. He wanted to rant again but a familiar sound of a spell charging caught his ears. The second guard had spotted him as well and was readying a spell. “Fuck!” He looked out the window and was about to jump back out but had a change of thought. On one hand, if he escaped, he may not get another chance at it again. But if he went down there and shot her, and somehow escape without a fireball hitting him, he might be able to achieve victory. Crazy you may say, but this is Kylar. He was born crazy. He braced himself. 'Hope my years of Parkour and the Runes don’t fail me now.' With that he leapt from his position, narrowly dodging the spell that was cast by the unicorn. The light stuck the platform, destroying the top half of the pillar. Kylar soared into the air, well away from the miniature explosion. He landed on his two feet with a slight grunt, ironically in the middle of the room. Bits of debris fell around him from the explosion; but he didn't pay attention to it. He was focused on Celestia that was to the side of the throne, courtesy of the heroic unicorn. Her magenta eyes locked with his dull blue ones. “Who are you?!” She shouted towards Kylar. He was startled. How did she not know him? Has it been that long? With an agitated sigh, he grabbed his hood and flicked it back, exposing his face. Her reaction was priceless. “Remember me, Bitch?!” He roared at her as his concealed anger had slipped through. Her eyes were gawked and her mouth was agape. In her state, the two guards stood in front of the princess in defense from the assassin. “K-Kylar?” She stuttered faintly as if she is seeing a ghost, which in her point she is. “In the human flesh!” He grinned manically, placing his hand underneath his rifle once again. “I th—thought you were dead!” She shouted out of fear which made the guards uneasy. 'If he is still alive, he will still hold the unquenchable thirst for pony blood and vengeance. Who knows what he did before he got here?' And it didn’t help the guards either; they had never seen her so frightened before. Not once. She fought Nightmare moon with a stoic face; she fought Discord with a cool head. So why is this creature making her want to run away? “That’s were your wrong you fucker, you THOUGHT!” He roared at her as his anger flared from the very sight of her. He just wanted to kill her, but he needed answers damnit. Celestia cringed at his colorful words, had it been so long to hear him speak to her like that. Her guards looked at one other, confused by his speech. And the man hadn’t even thought of letting up, “You thought that the sealing spell would hold this fighter away. You only just postponed his anger.” He pointed an accusing finger at her, “So now, I’m going to kill you and then your parents!” Celestia felt a spike in her heart from his threat. Kylar was the one to never let down a threat, so when he makes one, he will follow. But she retraced his words, and a solemn look fell on his face. “Kylar…” She started, seeing him lift his rifle slowly, “They passed away a thousand years ago.” Those words halted Kylar. 'Passed away?' He was cold for a moment. Passed away. THEY passed away. Something in his head snapped. Soon his coldness was replaced with hot anger that boiled in his chest, his arms began to shake and his eyes begin to twitch. He was pissed. He never got his vengeance! He never got to see the satisfaction of them dying in front of him! “What the fuck?!” He screamed to her, pointing his rifle to her, “What do you mean PASSED AWAY?!” The guards stiffened and readied themselves for the onslaught. Celestia knew he was angry, and bad things tend to happen when he got this angry. But something clicked in her head, and hopefully he would listen. 'If he knows that they are dead now, we could try to reform our bonds with the human race. I want to see him happy again, but I doubt he will listen. We were responsible for the human species to become extinct. Not to mention that he had killed a lot of ponies in the past. He will continue to do that. We cannot let that happen. I cannot let that happen!' “Kylar listen—” Princess Celestia started but was cut off by the enrage human in the middle of the room. “NO! Fuck that, you fucking die now!” Kylar screamed at her. He had her in his sights and quickly fired three shots in a complete succession. BANG! BANG! BANG! But Celestia had already formed a force field around herself and the guards, protecting them from the deadly rounds. The bullets ricocheted off it and shot in different directions. Kylar snarled and lowered his rifle; he knew that nothing can pierce the magical force field. He heard the sound of guards racing towards the room, over hearing the gunshots. He had already lost the element of surprise and now, he was vulnerable to her. He was out of options. But he couldn’t let her live! 'Run.' An unnerving voice suddenly appeared in his head, startling Kylar. The voice… It was so dark and malicious that it scared him. It also sounded female and it was disorientated, like an echo in the distance. Why would he run? What would that accomplish if she’s not dead?! But… Even if his vengeance wanted him to kill her now, the voice is right. If he ran away, he could find another way to shoot her and settle the score. But it when came to accomplishing the fleeing plan, how? How could he escape from this room and castle quickly and effectively? “AHA!” A thought came to his mind. He had figured a way. In lightning movements, Kylar clicked a button on the rifle. The stock clicked loose and he collapsed it to the side, making it shorter. He used his left hand and reached to his bag, unzipped it and placing the rifle in the bag, but also taking something out from it. It was a cylinder with a pin at the top of the object. 'I only have one left, but this plan will work!' As he zipped the bag, the guards had charged a magical binding spell. Kylar swore under his breath and his right hand went to the object. They cast it and the spell latched onto Kylars arms, leaving only a few inches between the pin at the top and his hand. He grunted and felt his arms rise up from the spell while thinking; 'Hurry up runes! Activate!' By now, he is in the air with his arms are apart and his legs were left dangling underneath. The unmistakable sign of anger had masked his face, glaring holes at the ponies. “Heh, it’s about time you did something you shmucks.” Kylar sneered towards the expressionless guards as their horns glowed prominently. Princess Celestia looked at the brown haired human as he dangled in the air, obviously suspicious of the predicament. She soon found out that she was right. Suddenly, Kylar dropped back down to his feet as the spell dissipated from his arms. The magic that once held him had vanished. The two guards were visibly stunned, how did he get out of the spell? “Bout time it started to work.” Kylar said out loud as he rolled his shoulders. He looked at the Princess and guards and said, “Looks like I will be leaving as I have lost the opportunity to kill you, but know this,” He grabbed the pin on the cylinder, “I still live. I still breathe. I still kill. So prepare yourself for a world of misery and death my lady, because the bodies of many will drop.” He pulled the pin and tossed it in the air. “The war has begun between you and me!” BAN-PISH! A loud bang and a bright flash deafened and blinded the ponies. They watched the cylinder fly in the air and then suddenly be replaced with a bright glare. The guards tumbled to the ground, screaming in agony from the miniature explosion and flash. They had never experienced this kind of attack before, it was all new. The princess knew what it was and turned her head away from the flare. 'Flash bang.' She thought, remembering those grenades a long time ago. She experienced them the hard way for the first time, and the results weren't pretty. The grenade itself does not harm or eliminate anypony; it is meant to disorientate them with the loud bang and the sun-like flash. Celesta turned back to the human at the front… To find him disappeared. The door at the far end was opened and she felt a great fear wash through her. He was loose, and he wanted blood. She then yelled so loud that you could hear it from the moon, “GUARDS! DO NOT LET THE HUMAN ESCAPE!” Kylar ran. He ran as fast as he could. He leaped, vaulted, slid, climbed, dodged, weaved etc. Spells that ranged from fireballs to earth picks, he maneuvered. Earth ponies with spears and swords, he avoided. He did everything that his teacher taught him before the war started. 'Move swiftly, strike swiftly and vanished swiftly.' He took a corner and saw two Earth royal guards. They stood in the middle of the room with long sharp spears pointing towards him. He ran towards them with no fear what so ever. In striking distance, the ponies thrust their spears only to miss as Kylar had leaped over them easily. As he landed, he drew his knife from his sheath. He spun and back kicked the pony on the left, causing him to hit the wall to his side but surprising still holding the spear. Kylar uses his momentum and in a wide ark, stabbed the second in the neck artery with his knife. Blood shot out from the wound as he pulled out the knife and for the final attack, a fist collided to the back of the pony’s head. The force sent the head straight to the ground, killing the pony instantly. The second pony had just recovered from the kick and turned to the enemy with the spear leading. The pony swung the tip of the blade to the hooded creature, to only witness it duck under the swing fluently. Kylar smoothly brought the knife down, striking the pony on the back of the helmet. The force caused the pony to front flip to his back. The pony didn’t even get to see the foot of the creature fall down towards his neck. CRACK! Kylars foot has struck the pony’s neck, snapping it like a twig. He quickly sheathed his blade and continued to run in an effort to leave. As he ran, he felt the adrenaline being pumped in his blood, furthering his thirst for gore. Further ahead was, ironically, a lone uni-guard. Kylar unsheathed his blade and quickened his hustle. The unicorn charged a fireball and launched it towards the human. The human dodged to the left, gaining distance towards him. He charged another spell and fired (no pun intended) towards the being. Again, the creature dodged to the right. The unicorn charged yet another spell. But it was too late. Kylar sprinted towards the unicorn and with the knife he stabbed the guard in the chest. With his speed and dynamism, he picked up the unicorn and slammed him to the ground. Kylar then reverse gripped the blade, violently ripped it out and stabbed the unicorn in the eye. Said unicorn screamed to the heavens and his body twitched for a moment before becoming quiet. Kyler heaved out his knife, sheathed it and continued to flee. He almost forgot; Kylar flicked back on his hoodie, masking his face in darkness. Ahead, there is a stairway descending to the main hall and the main entrance. But a problem accrued instantly. At the base of the stairs were a whole squadron of guards that had all races. The pegasus was hovering in the air, the unicorns had charged their spells and the earth ponies with swords and spears poke out from the front. The wooden door behind them was wide open, giving him a slight hope of freedom. Kylar skidded to a halt at the top of the steps, overlooking the ponies with disgust. “Halt!” One of the earth ponies ordered to the escapee. “Halted.” Kylar deadpanned with a bored facade as he thought of a way to bypass the obstacles. 'Oh shit, what to do?!' “Drop any weapons and lay on the ground, you don’t want to make things any more complicated!” “Fucking make me!” The pony went red faced in anger and was going to retort, but a unicorn suddenly shouted, “Why isn’t the binding magic working?!” Kylar looked at the ponies and said to himself “Fuck it”, and ran to the guards. He had only one plan; parkour it. It was the only option apart from trying to get the G36KV out from his bag and start shooting, but the ponies would already have attacked by then. The ponies gawked at the sight of the human running towards them. They thought that he is suicidal going against the royal guards. But they soon felt their hearts seize. The human ran towards them and leaped into the crowd. He grabbed a pegasus by the legs, swung from it, lands on a unicorn's head and bounced off. He hit the ground and slid under an earth pony. The human had already made it half way and still going. Kylar vaulted over a charging earth pony and using a unicorn as a step, he leapt into the air again using a pegasus as a swing. He let go and fell to the ground in an angle, clearing the dumbfounded ponies underneath. He was too fast, fluent and flexible for the guards. It reminded them of a monkey in the wild. Kylar landed back on earth, clearing the ponies with ease and with minimal effort. He quickly looked back, saying “Never going to catch me! See y’all next time!” and ran outside into the dark. The only noise that was present in the room is the flapping of the pegasus wings. “Wow…” One rookie guard said, amazed by the swiftness of the humans escape. He turned to a red faced captain and asked, “Do we get to learn that?” The captain shook his head and ordered, “Capture him!” Kylar sprinted down the empty street, taking in the silence and darkness. He skidded to a halt, took off his bag and pulled out his rifle. He chucked his bag back on and continued to run away. He had never felt so alive with the adrenaline and speed for a long time. Cold wind was smacking him in the face as he ran down the empty graveled road. Stoned houses lined the sides that housed ponies. Kylar took a left bend and halted. In front of him was a sign with the words ‘TRAIN STATION’ that pointed to the right. He took his chances and takes the right. His feet hit the stony road as he powered towards the train station, but also bypassing random ponies along the way. They stared and gawked as they witnessed the bipedal alien run down the road heading for the train station. “What was that?” One pony said to another. “I do not know.” The other replied. Kylar tore down the road with his head looking left and right, trying to find any royal guards. And he saw them. Two unicorn guards galloped towards him while shouting “Halt!” In response, he lifted his rifle and shot twice. BANG! BANG! The bullets struck their targets; one in the eye on the left and one in the chest on the right. They both collapsed to the ground, skidding to a halt and laying still with a bloody trail behind the dead bodies. Kylar powered on, knowing that the guards would single on his location from the shots soon. He saw the building with ‘TRAIN STATION’ logo on the roof. The building was in front of a rail road track with a train made out of muffins and candy. Kylar didn’t care about the train and its odd features and continued to run. He did not want to deal with the ponies in the building, so with a detour, he ran to the wall on the side of the building and climbed it. As he reached the top, he heard an announcement from the ponies underneath; “All aboard the train from Canterlot to Ponyville!” Kylar looked at the train underneath with a gleam in his eyes. “My ticket out of here.” He said to himself and with a leap, he landed on the roof of the train with a soft tack and crouched beside an outstretched roof. Soon, the train began to take off with a ‘TOOT!’ And before he knew it, the train had pulled away from the station along with him, away from the Princess and the city. “I’ll be seeing you later, bitch… I'll be seeing you later...” And thats a wrap! Made by MarcusBullet and Chaotic Pony :) > Dreaded information > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 4: Dreaded information “And now...farewell to kindness, humanity and gratitude. I have substituted myself for Providence in rewarding the good; may the God of vengeance now yield me His place to punish the wicked.” -Alexandre Dumas Kylar woke with a light snort. Although his hoodie was still up, the sun’s rays peaked though the leaves on the trees and into his eyes. His black-clad body was against a thick tree; his body bent forward and his legs cross-legged. His rifle was on his lap with a hand on the top, as if he is ready to fight instantly, and his bag was to his side. His steady hand rubbed his eyes as he rid them of the last bits of sleep. His whole body was still tired and sore, his adrenaline spent after walking aimlessly for hours after jumping off the… odd… train. He arched his back, a soothing chorus of pops and cracks emitted and he lets out a relieved sigh. Sleeping against a tree is never a nice place to sleep. “I always hated trees…” He silently said from underneath his hood. He placed the gun next to his bag and stood erect, while also gaining more pops and cracks. His head panned left and right like that of a scanning robot. Satisfied with no-one in sight, he bent back down, grabbed his bag and emptied the contents. On the ground laid four magazines for the G36KV, one water bottle, a packet of skittles, the necklace, the photo, a silencer for the rifle –it was in the front pocket-, 6 blue pills, and a Zippo lighter. He added the rifle and the torch –he was astounded how it didn’t fall out when he escaped- to the pile and his knife. “Damn,” He thought “I should have grabbed an extra MRE.” He picked one of the blue pills from the top of his bag and placed it in his mouth. He quickly downed it with the water. Instantly, the pill filled his body full of energy and his eyes flashed blue for a brief second. With quick movements, he placed all of the contents back into the single-strap bag, clutched his rifle by the handle, and stood upright. With a burst of speed he dashed away. --- Page Break--- Celestia felt sick. Sick and tired. Sick and tired and disturbed. Luna was in her chambers, sleeping. The guards had washed the blood and disposed of the bodies respectfully to Celestia’s orders. They were also told to never mention this to Luna, or be sent to the dungeons for treason. They did their part and didn’t say a word. Although the sun’s rays warmed Celestia’s body and coat, her insides were cold and in a twist. The room is soundless and deserted –par for the two guards at the front of her throne-, leaving the princess in her own thoughts. And it all relayed to one person: Kylar Hunter. She hoped though the years that she would never have to hear that… NAME… ever again. And with good reasons too, but she didn’t need to be reminded from the past. But last night would be implanted in her mind forever. --Last night-- It had been ten minutes since Kylar appeared, failed at his assassination, and fled from the throne room of Princess Celestia. While her guards had been running around the place trying to locate and capture the human, she remained on her throne with a dead face. It was clear that the re-appearance of Kylar had pulled the kindness and laughter away from the princess and replaced it with grief, sorrow, and worst of all, fear. She had fought her own sister and Discord who are gods of the moon and chaos in order. Kylar was a different story, one of which she will never tell. Firstly, it was too difficult to explain to all of her subjects about the human race. Secondly, she did not want a whole scale panic and disobedience; if any citizen gains information –Which she highly doubted- it would spread like a wild fire and would lead to Twilight to investigate about it. And when she would go, she goes. And lastly, she wanted to forget everything that happened before even her sister was born. It was too painful, awful, gruesome, horrifying, and disconcerting to even think about. And it was between her kind and his kind. She pulled away from her frozen state and looked at a recently entered royal guard who was standing at attention in front of her. “Did you capture him?” She said with a clear voice, masking her fear from her guards. If they ever found out that she was in this kind of state, it would become a very big problem. The guard shook his head, “Nay your highness, he was too fast and very agile, like a monkey with a sugar rush. But…” He paused and looked to the ground, “…We lost three guards to him.” A cold spike struck her heart. “Lost”, she thought, “we haven’t have one death in the army for over a thousand years!” This was all too much for her to handle. Kylar had already killed three guards! BAM! A panting royal guard burst into the room, sweat and dirt on his face. “Your… highness!” He shouted in between breaths, “Two royal… Guards are… K.I.A and…. He escaped from Canterlot!” “WHAT?!” Celestia screamed, standing on all-fours. Not only has Kylar killed another two, but he escaped the city and was outside the walls of her kingdom. Her sister, Luna, was flying around the night sky, not knowing what was happening. Maybe I should… No. Celestia shook that thought away; her sister couldn't know what had happened here, she couldn’t risk telling her about Kylar. Not yet. Also now that Kylar was out in the open of the immense land of Equestria armed with his weapon and horrible magic, her lovely world would become dark and bloody. [ i]--Present-- She wanted to cry. She wanted to scream. All because of Kylar. Everything was running so smooth, why now? Everything was at peace, so why now? She kept those questions spinning in her mind. Would she be able to ask them again after seeing hundreds and thousands of dead ponies on her doorstep, courtesy of the human. She doubted it, because knowing Kylar, he would kill and there would be nothing to stop him. Fueled by rage, revenge, and anger, he was near impossible to stop back then. He was before, and he still was at this time. She peered out the window, spying the rising sun in the distance. “Please Kylar,” She pleaded in her head, “Don’t kill anymore… Please?” --Kylar-- Kylar reached to the edge of the forest while keeping in the shadows. The sun was still rising in the horizon, setting a bright orange glow over the landscape. Over in the distance was, Kylar guessed, a small town. From where Kylar stood, he could not spot any humans nor armored personnel. Usually, there would be at least a patrol on duty, spotting for any enemies or intruders. But Kylar only saw small houses and building two klicks north, and a barn about a klick away to the east. Also on the eastern side were tree’s with red apples growing on them. “I do not believe that there was a town near Tokyo that grew apples… Or looks like an American Settlement.” He slowly crouched and continued to observe while going through a mental checklist: What do you see? I see multiple houses and Buildings and a barn to the east. Friendlies? I do not know just yet. Enemies? Again, I do not know. Is it safe? Possibly. Wh— “Kylar!” A voice of a male suddenly shouted. His whole body spun with the rifle in front, pointing behind him. His finger enclosed the trigger and his eyes were down the sights. There was nothing there except for a squirrel that skittered across a tree trunk. Other than that, there was only silence. Kylar swayed his rifle side to side as he scanned the thick vegetation. “Kylar!” There it was again. But it sounded familiar to the distraught man. It came from the left. His rifle flashed to the side and aimed… ... At nothing! Kylar shook his head. Was he hearing things, or was it the tress mocking him? He guessed that it was the trees. After all, he hated trees with a passion. A sudden wind swayed the leaves and his hood lightly flapped to it. The human stared for a while, and after seeing nothing, turned back to the task at hand. “It’s just like that game I played before the war, ‘DayZ’ if I’m correct, that it may be empty, but you never know what is there.” He said as his hand rested on the tree next to him, “but yet again, there was a military outpost from the mountain range. Raugh! Goddamnit, Sina was the one for thinking!” A cold rock fell into his stomach. He had forgotten all about his friends! He was so focused on his job he forgot about his friends. As he stared, the names of his friends began to appear in his head. “Sina, Blyds, Apera, Aimée, Dominika!” As if to make it worse, a sudden recall from the voice before worked upon his mind. It sounded very deep and heavily accented, it sounded… African. “It was Blyds!” Blyds was one of his best mates from Africa, though he didn’t elucidate whereabouts, and he was always spotted with his impressive smile. So if he was calling out to Kylar, then that meant he was alive and near his location. But a problem occurred. He was meant to be nowhere near Tokyo. He was meant to be with the rest of the group going out to the F.O.B while he and his small team of the Special Air Service Regiment went after the king and queen near the mountain in Tokyo. The last time he had saw his friends was when they were going on the army truck as he was talking to Blyds. He still remembered the conversation like it was the alphabet. (Flash back) “Are you sure you want to do this?” Blyds asked as he watched the team of Special Forces in the distance. Kylar glanced up from his rifle to Blyds. His height towered himself and would intimidate anyone but Kylar. His skin almost blended with Kylar’s black jumper if it weren’t for the long sleeved shirt under his Kevlar vest. He also had a wide nose, black eyes and no hair; the typical African. But what is most stunning was his oddly white teeth that were always in a massive grin. But he didn’t smile right then as he watched the soldiers. Kylar sighed. Blyds was always worried about his friends, especially Kylar. After all, Kylar was his first and best friend. And seeing said person about the new and final mission, it was in his mind, suicide. “Yeah mate, I’m sure.” He didn’t sound very sure at all. Going against a whole army with himself and five other soldiers didn’t sound so appealing; but if they going after the royals, it was worth it. Kylar stole a glance at the army vehicle where the rest of his friends were. While he was heading into the fight, they were being sent back to the Forward Operating Base to wait for the group to come back. They didn’t like the plan, but Kylar re-assured them that he would be back with the horns of the royals. “Really?” Blyds voice pulled him back to the conversation. His eyes were drilling into Kylar’s blue eyes underneath the hood. His eyes held worry and discomfort, like seeing your dog going to the vet to be put down. The hooded man replied by giving him a confident smile and a clap on his shoulder. “I’ll be fine mate, don’t ya get your dick in a knot.” Blyds gave him a blank stare. And with quick movements put Kylar in a head lock and gave him a noogie. “You better, because if you die I’ll find your body, bring you back, kick your ass, then let Apra have his way with you!” He growled playfully as Kylar tried to get out his massive arms. “No fuck that!” Kylar laughed, flailing his arms in a desperate effort to get out of his vice grip. The African roared in laughter and released his hostage, his grin in full throttle. Kylar took gasps of air from the strangulation and laughter. They settled down and a whistle blew in the air; it was time. Kylar locked eyes with Blyds. “I’ll be back.” Kylar said, sticking his hand out for a shake. Blyds frowned and scooped him up in a bear hug. “You fucking better.” (End) Kylar smiled at the memory. Even through the hell and disorder, there was always fun and joy. He missed his friends. But he would come back, he would see them again, he would get his arse kicked by Blyds and run away in a desperate effort from Apra; the big, dreadlocked Maori boy from New Zealand. He rose from his position and stared towards the town. Then with a final sigh and his rifle ready and body low, began his slow trek towards the village. (30 minutes later) After a slow jog from the borderline of trees then to a prone position halfway before he reached the first house. So far, no trouble had arisen. None that he could see anyway. And that terrified him. Even though that there is no-one to see or hear, it always ends up as; A) An ambush of a thousand ponies B) An army of crazy men with rifles Or C) The town has been whipped clean of human life and ponies have taken it as their home. If he could choose any of them, it would be neither. While he could take on a thousand troops of ponies, they would have the element of surprise and they would have magic. As their binding spell couldn't grab Kylar, they could always send a barrage of fire balls, lightning, or ice and all could kill him. A crazy bunch of men with rifles was not uncommon for Kylar. During the war, he and his friends encountered a lot of people that had lost themselves to insanity and killed ponies and humans. They may have been insane, but they were very smart and destructive. Ranging from just a small group of 5, to an army that populates a whole town, Kylar had both experiences. He preferred the ponies. And lastly, the pony take-over. In his mind, the whole topic seemed to be the likely. The train ride from the castle last night was only a few hours, and he heard the passengers that were going to a place called Ponyville. But he had bailed half way from the ride and had been on foot since. So would this place be Ponyville or was it further away? He could not tell. He slowly stood up and leaned his body against the wooden wall. He quickly scratched out point A from his mental list. There were no armored personnel with stolen military or hunting rifles walking around, no cars or stolen army vehicles with .50 cal turrets on the tops, or any outposts with rocket launchers or heavy machine guns. Nor the stench of dead corpses and gunpowder. The air was fresh and tasty, something rare for Kylar. Kylar shuffled to the corner of the house and leaned to further his investigation. The streets were clear and oddly clean. All the houses were closed and the windows were dark. It was a ghost town. But something caught his eye. In the distance behind some houses, was a large tree. But it was not that, that caused his curiosity. It had windows, doors and a veranda that has a telescope on it. There was even light coming through the window. Kylar’s eyes narrowed at the sight, “If there is light, there are people. If there are ponies, then there is interrogation.” Halfway coming to the town, Kylar realized that when he was attacking Celestia, he had forgot all about the information that he wanted from her. So it was best to find a perfect thing to question and receive information. And he found one. After checking left and right, he ran crouched towards the tree quickly. If there were any crazy nuts with guns patrolling that he had missed, it would be a death sentence. This pushed his speed to the max, the more time in the open, the more chance of him being shot. Luckily, he didn’t get into any fire fights as he reached to the front door of the tree house. The door was a head shorter than him and it had no door knob. He pressed his hand on it and pushed. It didn’t budge. With a huff he crouched and slowly made his way around the tree. He needed to find a window to see who or what is inside of the odd house. On the side of the house was a large window that showed the living room and kitchen. It was the perfect spot for Kylar to look through. A cold spike struck his heart. In the living room was a purple pony with a pink streak in its mane. A set of stars was its cutie mark and a horn sprouted from its head. It was facing away from Kylar, looking at the set of books on the far corner. Anger swelled through Kylar and unknown to him, his thumb had flicked the safety. He suppressed the anger and controlled his breathing. He needed information and he would get it. With that, he slowly pushed the glass window and fortunately, it quietly swung open. After making sure that the pony was distracted, he put one leg through the large window then the other. He landed on the floor with a silent thump and held his breath. The pony didn’t notice and continued with what it was doing. Kylar lifted his rifle and slowly, very slowly, made his way to it. The wood didn’t creak or moan as he steadily made his way. On the right he noticed a staircase that led to the next level but brought his attention back to the pony. He heard soft humming and singing, indicating that it was a mare and still didn’t notice him. Suddenly she moved, and Kylar froze. The mare sat on her haunches and let out a breath. Kylar himself let out a quiet breath and leveled his rifle to its head. He took a deep breath and said smoothly, “Scream and I will kill you.” The mare's head snapped up in surprise, but it did as it was told and didn’t scream. But he heard a silent whimper from it. He continued, “Use magic and I will kill you, move and I will kill you, you talk when I say you talk, yes?” There was silence and it slowly nodded, a much louder sob came out. Kylar gave a small smile and began the interrogation. “Name.” “T--Twilight S-Spark-kle.” A squeak came out from the mare. Her whole body was shaking and tears poured down her face. This confused Kylar. Normally when he confronted a pony, they usually fought or fled, and this went for all ponies. So why was this one crying? “OK Twilight, question two, what town is this?” She was silent for a moment, “Ponyville.” Kylar raised an eyebrow. So this place is Ponyville, go figure. So that’s why there are no patrols around or vehicles, a town full of ponies. His anger slowly swelled, but was snuffed away quickly. “Next question---” “Please don’t kill me! Please!” She suddenly cried, swerving her head to face the hooded man. Purple eyes locked with blue eyes, and her eyes widen at the sight. The barrel of the gun was directly aimed in between her eyes, but she didn’t mind it. She studied the man in an instant. Tall, stood on two legs, two arms and fingers. All covered in black and red. She would’ve passed it off as a Diamond Dog, but there were some flaws. One was its build. While the dogs had a built upper chest, this one was lanky and seemed weak. Second was its head; the dogs had the face of, of course, a dog. The creature in front had the face of a monkey, just a few differences. Its skin was tan, no facial fur and a very odd mark on his face. So it wasn’t a diamond dog or a pony, so what was it? “Wha—What are you?” She said as tears still spilled from her eyes. Kylar’s eyes narrowed at the question and prodded her head with the tip of his rifle, just underneath the horn. “Your very lucky mate that I didn’t kill ya just for moving!” He growled dangerously, his eyes flickering bright blue. Twilight’s breath hitched in her throat; it was true. But if he didn’t kill her, then he needed her for something. “Now,” Kylar started, “who is in command of this town?” Twilight pulled a face, “The Mayor.” “How many ponies?” “I don’t know.” “Guards?” “I don’t know.” Kylar growled in frustration, “What do you mean ‘I don’t know’? You fucking live here!” The mare flinched from the curse and replied steadily, “The guards come in and out bu---” He jabbed her head once again, “Don’t speak until I tell you to speak!” She immediately silenced and lets him resume. “Good. Now, Celestia, does she have any relatives? Family? Students? Teachers?” Twilight gave him an odd look, “Why do you ne—” The tip of the rifle smacked her against the cheek, hard. Her head snapped to the side from the force of the blow, leaving an already bruising mark on her cheek. More tears fell as she looked back at the man, his eyes unforgiving. “Tell me!” He snarled, steadying his rifle so it aimed at her eye. Twilight swallowed back the urge to cry hard, and nodded her head. “Sh—She has a sister, Luna. And a student,” She swallowed in nervousness now, “Me.” Kylar’s face went blank, “How bout that for luck.” He muttered. He shook his head and sets it back on an intimidating face. He would think later about her and more plans for her to destroy Celestia. “Next question,” He forcibly said, “How long has Celestia been ruling for?” This was the moment of truth, the answer that he wanted from the start. Kylar guessed from the spot that it had been two years, and even that was a long time. But the response that was given to him, made him crumble. Twilight replied easily, “A thousand years.” Kylar felt his world dissolve, and so did his legs. His rifle still aimed at her head, but he was too shocked to even know. His heart was non-existent, a cold prickly sensation flowed through his body and his lip quivered. It was too much for him to handle. “A- A thou-” Kylar tried to ignore the fact. He desperately tried. He had been sealed for a THOUSAND years. His friends: dead! His home: dead! His whole life and planet: FUCKING DEAD! It had to be a lie, it had to be! He jumped to his feet and kicked the pony in the chest, sending her to the far wall where she had been staring at before he had arrived. She let out a wheeze and fell to the floor with a loud thud. Kylar swiftly made his way to her, aimed his rifle and placed a foot on her side. “You fucking better have lied mate, you fucking better!” He screamed at her while glaring at her with complete rage. His whole body was shaking and this breathing had become heavy. It was hard to keep his aim on the mare as his vision blurred. He realized that he was crying, hard. Tears fell from his face and landed on his pants, collecting with splotches of old blood from last night. “Oh god, please tell me that the pony is lying, please!” He shouted in his head as he tried to wipe the hot tears from his eyes with his hand. Twilight stared at him. Her whole body was sore and his foot on her ribs didn’t help. Her own eyes were beaming with tears as he looked at the massive creature in front of her. Twilight caught a sound from upstairs; a groan. Her eyes widen at a realization, “SPIKE!” Kylar suddenly said, “All you ponies fucking lie, so tell me the truth,” He pressed his foot harder on her chest, “Tell me!” Biting back a scream, she shakily replied, praying that this creature would not find her assistant, “I- Its true!” Kylar looked deep in her eyes, passing the tears of fear and the aspect of pain. He was searching for any lies, any deception, anything at all to deny the answer. He saw none. Nothing but the truth and fear. An ice cold wash went over the hooded man and, in shock, took two steps back away from the pony. “No…” He breathed quietly, lowering the rifle, and then fell from his grasp. Twilight took the chance and sucked some sweet air in her lungs. “No…!” He slowly got louder. The pony sluggishly stood on her legs and gazed at the ever growing angered man as he tried to repudiate. His eyes were wide and an intense blue enclosed his iris. Twilight soon felt the air becoming colder, and electrical? Her eyes soon caught a glow of blue on his right arm, and it was intensifying dangerously. “Nooo…!” A blue streak of smoke formed around Kylar’s right hand and circled around it. His blue eyes cautiously and the blue light underneath the black cloak pulsated. Twilight realized that now was the time to escape, but what about— “Twilight? Whats with all the banging?” A purple and green baby dragon tottered down the stairs slowly, obviously awoken too early from his sleep. Spikes green eyes looked at the room, then at Twilight, then at Kylar. Everything went to hell in a second. Kylar’s right hand shot towards Spike while blue particles appeared around his hand. His blue eyes were very bright and the lights underneath his jacket were on par with his eyes. Twilight instantly teleported from her positioned in a flash of purple, and reappeared in front of Spike. With a sound that was crossed with a Laser and a whoosh, (If you watched AVP, the sound of the Plasma Cannon represents the sound), A blue bolt of plasma shot froth from Kylar’s hand and sped towards Twilight and Spike insanely fast. Twilight quickly grabbed Spike and with a flash of purple she disappeared. The bolt missed the target and struck the now empty staircase, sending wood and blue fire everywhere with a loud bang. Kylar didn’t waste his time. He bent down, collapsed his rifle and stuffed it in his bag. He ran to the door, and with almighty strength, shoulder barged it open; sending bits of wood in the opposite direction. His head snapped around, looking for something. The tears had run out and were replaced with murderous rage. In his eyes though, he spotted specks of purple heading to the barn outside of Ponyville. With great speed, he tore down the road as he sped towards the farm house while blue bits of light trailed his path. > The Mane Six vs. The Runic Warrior > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Yes, I will see you Through the smoke and flames On the frontlines of war We have to find a better way And I will stand my ground until the end 'Til we conquer them all” ~This War is Ours (The Guillotine Part II)- Escape the Fate Applejack yawned as she trotted down the wooden steps down to the living room. The room was quiet and cold, but the mare was used to it as she gets up at 5 AM every day for Apple bucking. As were her brother, Big Mac, it was a daily routine. But today was special, not in a good way though. Her friend, Rainbow Dash, had told everyone that there will be a scheduled heavy rain at 6:30 AM and would last until noon. So it is essential that Applejack did most of the work before the rain appeared. Her blonde mane was groomed, put in a ponytail (Me: eh? Editor: yeah...) and under her trademark farmers hat for the day ahead. An orange coat covered the mare and a cutie mark of three red apples spotted on her flank as she walked outside into the morning cool of her barnyard. But she didn’t feel right at that moment. Normally she loved this time of the day as the day is slightly cold and the water dew on the ground soaked her hooves; but Applejack didn’t feel relaxed. Her gut told her that something was going to happen, and it was going to be bad. This made her eyes slowly scan the town a few kilometres ahead of her barn. There was nothing to see; no fires, no stampedes, no alien invasion, nothing. She breathed a sigh of relief, but her mind kept saying ‘Somethin’ big is gonna happen’, Ah ‘no it.’ Applejack gave one last glance at the town, and after seeing nothing again, left to her job. She never saw in the distance a shadow slowly making its way to the settlement. -An Hour and fifteen minutes later- THUNK! The sound of hooves hitting wood echoed across the field of apple trees. Applejack looked behind her shoulder to see the apples on the tree fall from the top to the crates underneath, collecting them like water going into a jug. She gave a successful grin and wiped the sweat off her brow. She was on a roll, nearly quarter of the side of her farm while her brother took the other. At this rate, she would be done in ten minutes. She still had the feeling that something bad was coming, and as she worked, she would look around just in case. The sound of hooves clopping towards her caught her attention to a large red stallion with the same blonde hair as Applejack. “Heya Big Mac, did ya finish?” She asked happily to her brother. “Eeyup.” Was the reply from the large stallion, his voice deep and with a southern drawl. “Well, I’m nearly finished. I’ll ‘a meet ya back at home.” After getting a ‘Eeyup’ from Big Mac, Applejack went on to do more apple bucking. She trotted to the next tree, positioned herself to ram— PWISH! Suddenly, a purple burst caught Applejack off-guard and fell face first into the ground, eating dirt. The flash soon revealed a frantic and scared Twilight and a confused and terrified Spike. “Applejack!” Twilight screamed, dropping Spike to the ground with a ‘oof’, “Help! Alien! Years! Blue! Black! Metal!” Applejack rammed a hoof into her mouth, silencing her effectively. Her emerald eyes soon locked with purple, and she instantly became alarmed. She recalled all the frantic talking and said, “Whoa suga, slow down and speak clearly…” Twilight spat out the hoof and replied quickly, “There is something trying to kill me!” Applejack’s whole body shook once and she asked, “Are ya sure, who was it?” “I don’t know! He was tall, all black with blue eyes, and he tried to kill me!” She almost screamed but tried to keep it under control. Her body was violently shaking and her eyes were pinpricks. Her companion, who just looked confused and shaken, looked around the field. “Ah ‘kay, where is he now?” Her eyes darted to the left and right, looking for anything out of the ordinary. Soon, the area became dark and cloudy, shocking everyone to the core. The storm was almost here, and it limited the light to spot anything. “I don’t know, we teleported out of the house just in time.” She soon got control over herself and was breathing normally, but some tears ran down her face. Applejack soon gave a warm smile and replied, “Well, yer ditched ‘im good then, he won’ fin’ yer ‘ere.” It seemed to do the trick as Twilight started to calm down and control her breathing. Spike watched the clouds as they closed away the blue sky with dark grey. Already he felt the temperature dropping and the smell of water filling his nose. The ponies in Ponyville would be in their homes by now and the streets would be empty. Hopefully. Twilight took in a deep breath and released it loudly, “Thanks AJ, I needed that.” “Any time sug’” She nodded her head, “Now, ‘bout this fella?” Twilight thought for a minute, “We need to get the other elements; He’s not like any other foe, I don’t know what he want, but he wants to…” She shuttered, “Kill.” “Ok, well, lets’ get the gurls an—” FWAZAP! A blue streak of light passed between Twilight and Applejack from nowhere and struck the tree beside the ponies. It smashed on the corner of the tree sending bits of wood everywhere. It left a smoking hole on the side of the tree, like something took a huge bite from it. This all happened in a second. The two ponies recoiled in shock and looked to their left and saw a black blob running towards it. It almost blended with the darkness of the clouds, but it stuck out from a blue glow going up and down. The blob soon leaned back and with an arc from a dark appendage, the blue glow shot forth and with a FWAZAP It sped towards them. The girls hit the deck as the plasma bolt shot above their heads. “That’s him!” Twilight screamed out of fear. How did he find her, even though she teleported from her house? It makes no sense. Spike ran to Twilight and skidded beside her, watching the advancing blob with great fear, “What do we do?” Twilight didn’t reply as she sent a lightning spell towards the running man. The human dived to the side, missing the lightning, and without losing motion, continued to run straight towards the ponies. “What in Tarnation!” Applejack exclaimed as another blue ball zipped overhead, disappearing in the countless apple trees. The human was now so close; they could see the enraged face from the hood. And his eyes were set on Twilight. “Twi, go get the girls, I’ll hold ‘im off.” Applejack suddenly said, standing straight and confident. If it was going for her friends, it would have to go through her first. Twilight was stunned, “No way! He knows magic! He will—” “Go Twi!” The orange mare yelled, pawing the dirt and staring at the dangerously closing human. The purple pony opened her mouth, but soon closed it. She quickly seized Spike and in an instant, flashed away in a pink portal. Luckily, a blue bolt went straight through the haze missing the target by a nano-second. The man suddenly stopped in his tracks, his clothes flapping in the slowly rising wind from the storm. His right hand was smoking from the unknown bolts of plasma, but there were no marks of burnt flesh or welts. His face was dirty from sweat, tears and dirt. The orange mare stood her ground in a defensive stance, ready to spring into action. And so was the man. He seem to know that the pony was in a protective posture and slowly slipped into an aggressive stance; his left leg stood out on the front, knees bent slightly, and his hands balled into fists as he lowered one hand and brought the other up. The pony spoke, “Why are yer after ma friend?” The man continued to glare at her with pulsating blue eyes. His scowl etched his face, and oddly enough, blood started to drip from the corner of his mouth. ‘What in the hay?’ Applejack’s eyes narrowed as she followed the blood that trailed down his chin and dripped to his right hand. He didn’t seem to notice as his gaze was fixed on her. She asked again, “Why are y-” Like a grasshopper, he sprung from his stance and towards her. She was so distracted from talking that she didn’t have time to react. Quick like Rainbow Dash, his hard fist smashed her across the cheek with such vigor, that it lifted her off her hooves and was sent flying backwards. ‘S—Such power!’ Her body tumbled across the land before skidding on her hooves to a stop. Even when pain racked her jaw, she lightly chuckled, ‘Thank Celestia for rustling with Big Mac and Rainbow Dash all those times.’ She shook off the pain and with her head bent low, she charged. The hooded man slightly crouched and dashed forward with a dust cloud erupting behind him. Once within range, Applejack spun on her front hooves to the right with smooth and practiced technique and shot her back legs at the man’s chest. Years of bucking that shook trees would most certainly send him back with a lot of broken bones. But, surprisingly, she hit nothing but air. The hooded man foresaw her kick when she began to spin on her front hooves. So, with quick thinking, he placed his left hand to the ground and gripping the grass and dirt. Like an anchor, his body did a 180 degree swing to the right, his black clad boot becoming a momentum force of power. And, it landed with shocking results. The foot landed straight on the side of her stomach, burying it half way. Blood instantly leapt up Applejacks throat and out her mouth as her eyes were extensive and her face in pure shock. The momentum of the kick finally came by the way of her body suddenly propelling away from the human. The pony’s body tumbled and rolled across the grass, furthering the pain that engulfed her. Tears spilled freely from the corner of the pony’s eyes from the pain and bitter taste in her mouth. Her body finally slid to a stop, a good 50 meters away from the insanely strong creature. The cowboy hat floated without restrictions back to earth when its owner was sent away to the side. The human, now satisfied, stood straight and slowly advanced to the downed pony. Its movements were calm and relaxed, as if it knew it won by a mile. His hand began to fizzle with plasma as he stalked to Applejack, his face in a blank and solid face. Applejack saw it and desperately tried to stand, but the kick was so strong and well placed, her legs wouldn’t co-operate without pain exploding in her. Her tears came out harder and faster, and with a last ditched effort, began to crawl away. The pain was unbearable in an instant and she stopped all together. The farm pony turned her head to the man, who now towered over her prone body. A lone blue eye shone through the black shroud of the hood that locked with her green eyes. The man crouched to face her evenly, “Do you know who Kylar Hunter is?” AppleJack flinched at the tone. It was male for certain; but it was not like any other stallion she had heard before. It was very, very, cold; so cold it could freeze the world in a split second. The words caught up and she replied, “No…” The pain had dulled and she could take in deeper breaths. She has a plan. “Hn,” The man raised his hand, palm facing her face as the plasma swirled like a vortex in his hand slowly. The particles started to form a small ball about the size of a walnut in the middle. The man continued, “In the war, he was known by your kind as the ‘Blue Bereavement’, a being that had killed any pony in its way. A being that struck fear into the captains’ hearts as their soldiers shook in their boots. He was evil, cruel, blood thirsty, angry and SO much more. But, he was not that before. Nononononono, he was funny, caring, he actually liked your kind,” The blue glow in his hand formed into a solid ball of plasma, making a whirling motion and a light hummmm sound, “But, one day, your pony kind decided to drop these little things called bombs, onto his school with him inside. Luckily, he survived, but his thirst for vengeance became arduous. So, in a sense, you created the monster. Actually, there’s no sense, your kind was the reason for his state.” Applejack became confused, “Wha?” “So, you’re probably thinking, ‘Why is this crazy freak telling me about a psychotic soldier?’ well the thing is, I like to tell the ponies who I know will die, about my life’s story.” A light, scary chuckle came from his lips, “Well, only a little bit. Now,” An evil grin suddenly appeared on his face, his eyes glowed azure again and he said, “Any last words?” Applejack stared at the creature, demon even, with fear and anxiety. But, she closed her eyes and sucked in her breath, “Yeh,” She snapped her eyes open and a small grin appeared, “Yer let yer guard down partner.” She dug her front hooves into the ground, spun her body and lifted her hind legs to his chest, and kicked him with all her might. He never saw it coming. The human was taken off guard from the sudden movement. His body actually came off the ground and was flung back from sheer force. The plasma ball discharged into the air, disappearing into the dark clouds. His back smashed into the ground, did a complete backflip and landed surprisingly on his knees. He growled in anger and looked up- -to see a set of green eyes looking back! Another set of hooves struck his chest painfully. Again, his body flew back with force and blood leapt from his mouth. His body crashed to the ground with a loud THUD. He lay motionless on the ground, his arms and legs spread across the ground. Applejack huffed and puffed but a steady grin stretched her face, “That’s fer scarin Twi you varmint.” She was so sure that the creature would not get up from two apple bucking kicks. It would be impossible for anything to get up from that. The pain in her side suddenly flared, the adrenaline finally seeped. She fell to her haunches with large breaths, hoping Twilight arrives quickly. “hoe-we, Ima gonna have a nice bath after this, and maybe some good ol’ pi-” A dark chuckle froze her blood. She immediately looked at the fiend that she had knocked down. It was getting back up! Very slowly, zombie like, his upper half of his body rose from the ground with an insane grin on his face. Blood dripped from his mouth to his jacket, but he paid no heed. His hand grasped the end of his bag and with a ‘click’ it fell off. Again, very slowly, he got to his feet without any pain or growling; just a psychotic grin and an evil glint in his eyes. “He he, you got some kick,” His hands tightened to fists, “You’re slightly better than the guards!” Like an arrow being shot, he dashed straight to Applejack with such speed that Rainbow Dash would blush. Jumping to the side, Applejack narrowly missed a swinging kick that was aimed for her head. Thinking that the human was distracted for the moment, she readied her hooves once again and kicked. Swiftly, Kylar corrected himself and with practiced movements, swung his kicking foot around and jumped up and over her hooves. His kicking foot retracted to a kneeing position and his other heel was aimed to Applejack’s stomach. The strike made her ‘Yelp’ in surprise and pain while her body was tossed to the side. She regained her stance only to jump back on reflex. There was a light shing in the air as Kylar swiped at Applejack. He swung again, and something shiny caught Applejack’s green eyes. There, in his hand, was a large blade. She quickly jumped back from the swipe, and another, and another. The look on his face gave Applejack a great relief, he was getting tired. His eyes were strained and he was breathing heavy. Soon, she gained a surge of strength and endurance as she dodged another swipe. She was wearing down a creature with powers and had the strength of Big Mac and the speed of Rainbow Dash. “I can’ wait to rub this into that no-good Pegasus.” “What’s the matta, can’ tangle no more?” She had an imps grin as she stepped from the blade. This was become easy, a little too easy. He gave no reply and swiped again but in a diagonal. And she dodged. And suddenly screamed. Her leg gave way and her body tumbled to the ground while she screamed all the way. She didn’t understand why was she in pain? He didn’t hit her, did he? Through the new tears, she looked at her leg and gagged at the sight. A large slice from her shoulder to her hoof bled profusely, coating her orange fur and blonde mane red. It was a smooth cut, indicating that it was an extremely sharp blade. Applejack stole a glance at the human and its weapon. Her core froze in fear and dread. There was no blood on the weapon. Then what cut her? “Y’know,” He said as he watched her with glowing eyes, “During World War Two, a squad of Japanese fought with a squad of US soldiers for a while, and the Japs threw their guns to the ground, faking exhaustion and surrendering. The Yanks lowered their guard and went to nab ‘em, but fell to the surprise of the katanas.” A small smile spread across his face, “I think I should kill you, but a ‘nobody’ won’t get the attention of Celery…” A plasma ball appeared in his hand, “No… Your kind killed the innocents of my kind,” He raised his hand, “You will be the first and not the last.” “Nothing will stop t—” “SURPRISE!” Now, Kylar had his eyes on the prone pony from the very start. But, for some reason, his view of her was somehow obstructed by a large, grey cylinder and a grinning pink face. His face twitched once, “The fu—” BOO-PFT His black-clad body was flung in the air along with colourful confetti, balloons, a monkey, squirrel with makeup, and streamers following wake. He comically stayed in the air for a second then fell to the ground. Applejack looked at the pony in front of her with visible glee. “Pinkie Pie!” She exclaimed, a large smile appeared along with fresh tears. Said pony whipped her puffy pink hair to face Applejack. “Hi Applejack! doyouthinkhelikedmysuprisebecausehelookedsoangryandsadandIwantedtohelpwithasuprisebuthelookedwhyareyoubleedingisitbecauseitsahorrorpartyomigodahorrorpartyIhaventhadoneforsolongan—” “Pikie!” Applejack butted in, “This ain’ no party, ah’m in serious pain sugarcube!” “Oh, why didn’t you say so silly, let’s get Flutt—” FZWAP! A blue bolt of light shot straight past her head and into the trees. Applejack peered from between Pinkie Pies legs to see Kylar on his knee with a hand stretched, blood dripping from his nose and mouth. Then, terrifyingly to everyone present, Pinkies head did a total 180 degree turn with a cheerful grin and eyes sparkling. Kylar’s had a different face; His eyes shrunk and mouth dropped. “Hi I’m Pinkie Pie!” She said. Silence. Then, Kylar screamed in fear as well as shooting plasma bolts to vanquish the demon spawn from hell. But Pinkie, being Pinkie, dodged and weaved each and every shot with laughter and joy. “Missed me!” Another bolt. “Missed me!” Two more bolts. “Too slow!” Three more bolts. “Hehehe, I love this game!” She hopped around with audible springing, missing the plasmatic balls of death. Applejack ducked her head now and then in an effort to escape the bolts as well. “Grrrrrr, Mada taizai!” He screamed, clutching his wrist while his other hand was facing the pink devil. A plasma bolt shot forth from his hand with lightning speed. Halfway to its destination, it suddenly slitted into four separate bolts and homed in on Pinkie Pie. This caught Applejack off guard, seeing the multiple spells closing in on her Pink random friend. But Pinkie didn’t seem fazed at all. When the bolts got close, she just plopped to the ground, clearly evaded the multiple plasma missiles. Instead, the bolts flew straight to the town and detonated with a chorus of BANGS and flashes of blue. Pinkie looked back and chuckled nervously, “Ehehe, whoopsy?” Kylar growled angrily and aimed his hand again, only to be thrown to the side by a blue blur. As the blue blur shot up into the now dark sky, Kylar’s body hit the ground and rolled across the field painfully. He quickly recovered by springing from the ground and slid on his feet. Blood dripped from a gash on his head and more came from his mouth as he huffed and puffed. “These pricks keep popping up from nowhere.” He wiped his mouth with his hand, smearing a large spot of blood across his face and arm. His blue eyes flickered to the dark sky, trying to find the blue bastard. In an effort to knock it out from the cover of the sky, he launched multiple spheres of plasma into the clouds with an angry yell. The tens and hundreds of bolts disappeared into the darkness forever, not one exploded. He looked to the pink and orange pony with an angry scowl, “You’re really pissing me off.” With a flick of his hand, he unsheathed his blade and began to sprint towards the two ponies. Suddenly, he was flung back from an invisible barrier that had a shade of purple. He stumbled for a moment but recovered, his scowl deepening and darkening. With a snap and a pop, two more ponies appeared in front of the downed and the hyperactive ponies. He knew the one on the left was Twilight but the other was a mystery. It had bleach white fur, a mane and tail that was a dark purple and styled to make the best hairdressers grow green of envy, and a horn. “Great, more unicorns.” He muttered out loud. He looked above the stationed enemies and spied two Pegasus, hovering down to land. One was butter yellow with a light pink mane and tail and the other was a light blue with the colours of the rainbow as her mane and tail. Six ponies vs. One Human resistance fighter. “They have too little.” He grinned slightly despite the great pain. As the two Pegasus set down, the Yellow pony quickly made her way to the wounded pony and began to heal her with bandages that came from her mane. Most curious. The rest, however, took stances in front of the two in a way to shield the human away. “You really think,” He swiped his hand in front of him in an arc, “You, untrained, ponies can kill me?” “No, we are not going to…” Twilight shuddered, “Kill you; we want to stop you from hurting everypony.” “No, after what you did to AJ, you better pray you would be,” The blue Pegasus boasted and flaring her nostrils, “, I’ll finish this, ten seconds flat.” “Really?” He grew a imp smile, “hehe, I know your type,” twirling his knife in his hand, he very slowly paced, “Bragging all the time, biting more than you can chew, overconfident . Hehe, indeed, but it’s funny,” He stopped and slid his knife in his sheath, “They say that the crow that caws the loudest, is the weakest” The blue pony’s face switched from a cocky grin to a full rage-filled glare. “That’s it! I’m taking him down!” She shot off like a bullet, despite her friends pleas. But before she could get close, she was engrossed by a purple haze and dragged back. She thrashed and cursed as she was pulled away from her prey, leaving Kylar with a bemused smirk. “Reminds me of Apera.” He muttered quietly as he eyed the group. “Rainbow Dash, that was too rash of you!” Twilight scorned, dropping the blue Pegasus beside the white mare. “Yeah Rainbow Dash! Let MarcusBullet do some talking for a while before we fight!” Pinkie added her two cents. (Editor: LOL) “Who?” Kylar deadpanned. “And while we are talking about him,” She pointed her hoof to the left hand side of the sky, “Marcus! You left everypony wait for this chapter for 5 months! You are very mean! No cake for you!” -- I slowly pushed away the laptop and looked at the camera beside me, “Honest to god lads, I didn’t write that. Mother of god save us.” The editor read above event, realizing what had happened and that he was being recorded too, “Let’s get back to the story, ja? Enough 4th wall breakers...” -- Kylar didn’t know what to say or do; he just stared with a bored glare and placed his hands in his pockets. “What?” He called out to no-one in particular. The white pony spoke up, “Don’t fret over that, we have other points that need to be discussed.” Twilight followed up quickly, “Why are you after me? What did I do to you?” Kylar chuckled emotionlessly, “Oh, you yourself didn’t do anything.” More blood leaked from his mouth. Twilight raised an eyebrow, “Then why—” “Its because what your kind,” He pointed a finger to the ponies, “and Celery,” and placed his hand on his chest, “Did to my kind.” “Your kind slaughtered over seven billion humans, including my mates and family!” He shouted suddenly, his eyes blazed with newfound hatred. He just remembered what she said back in the library. More blood escaped from his mouth as he raged, “Your so-called leader, killed and turned each and every one of them into your fucking kind! Your fucking disgusting, animalistic cunts destroyed my home and my life!” He kept going, “You know who ordered all of that?” He looked straight into the eyes of Twilight with eyes that made her cringe, “Your mentor’s parents. And her!” Twilight shook her head, “No, that isn’t true! Princess Celestia would never do that! She taught us that no matter who you are, we are all the same!” “Well she fucked you over for sure.” “No she didn’t!” “How can you be so sure, I guess you know what happened a thousand years ago then?” “No I don’t…” “Exactly.” The white pony soon butted in, “A thousand years? “ Kylar nodded curtly, “Aye. The two bastards sealed me in ice as a desperate way to kill me. Took them five tries.” “Then, you must be—” “Immortal? No. I’m just unlucky.” He let out a large sigh, “But,” he took out a blue pill from his pocket and popped it in his mouth, “I will not die just yet until each and every pony is extinguished from the face of the earth.“ Rainbow Dash shouted out, “Like we gonna let you do that you freak!” “Then stop me.” With that said, the earth became quiet. The wind slowly swayed the trees and grass. The faint smell of rain and apples surrounded the two creatures. There was no noise at all. Not a peep. The ponies tensed, waiting for him to strike. A cold sweat broke from Twilight from just looking at the human, watching him as he slowly crouched. His eyes pulsed like his heartbeat and his hands were engulfed in blue plasma that shined brightly in the darkness. Then, without warning, he shot forth in a blue haze. The ponies were so shocked, that in a matter of seconds, he was right in front of them with a plasma encased fist. Twilight summoned a shield just in time as his fist crashed against it, but the force behind it send her flying backwards over the yellow Pegasus and orange pony. Quickly, he grabbed the white pony by its horn and like a sledgehammer, slammed her against Pinkie Pie. They both let out a large squeak as they were hurled aside. When Kylar swung to attack the blue boaster, she had already begun to rain her own hooves from above. With each strike, he parried it with his forearms and hands, almost like a dance. Twilight’s body had just hit the ground. Kylar swiftly blocked a high swinging kick; he threw in a right hook, but was blocked by her hooves. Wrapping his fingers around the forehoof, he brought her forth and kneed her in the stomach. Her body arched from the blow and a silent scream of pain came from her mouth. Seizing the chance, he smashed the palm of his hand on her face and forced her down to the hard earth with a loud thump. Dragging his hand off her face, he summoned a plasma bolt and shot it towards the White pony and Pink pony. The white one counted it by shooting a light blue magic spell that caused a tiny explosion when they collided. Wrapping his wrist with his other hand, he let loose two energised spells to the pony. Like last time, they split into four separate projectiles and the other as well; making eight glowing balls of death screaming towards the white unicorn. She immediately made a shield, but like Twilight, was thrown backwards along with Pinkie Pie. Kylar huffed as he surveyed the groaning ponies. Weak. They are all weak. Childs even. He shook his head, “How pathetic, I wasted a micro-plasmatic booster for nothing.” Twilight shakily got to her hooves and faced the large human with a deadly glare, “We aren’t finished yet.” “Really now?” Kylar chuckled darkly. “Yeah,” She gave her own chuckle, “Really. NOW DASH!” Unexpectedly, a blow that struck like lightning smashed against his back, thrusting the baffled human to the ponies. The white one charged a spell and shot forth that collided with his head, making him do backflips in the air. Rearing her hooves, she punted him in the chest with all her might. Kylar’s head whiplashed and the force of the blow and the momentum made his whole body explode with pain like no other before. Blood shot out from his mouth, he bit his cheek badly. “Surprise!” Again, his whole body was dealt with more pain and a sudden force and streamers shot him forth with unimaginable speeds. How did that pink pony get behind him, he had no idea. Maybe she is faster than the Fourth Hokage. He chuckled absently while he flew to point one. And in front of him was Twilight with two glowing boulders. Oh shit. One stone crashed against his waist while the other in his chest with surprisingly huge force that caused the boulders to exploded into rubble. But the pain ten folded, causing him to scream in pain as his body crashed sickly to the ground. He bounced on the ground for a good distance then came to a halt where he destroyed half of the tree from the beginning. The sound of thunder rang out through the clearing, warning others that a storm was about to occur. But the ponies didn’t care; they all remained still as statues, watching the still beast. When he didn’t move for a minute, they all cheered as one. “We did it!” Twilight exclaimed, falling on her haunches clearly exhausted. “We totally kicked his flank to next week; no one messes with the best flyer in Equestria or her friends.” Rainbow Dash boasted again, folding her forelegs while hovering off the ground. “Speak for yourself, my mane is all ruined, and it took me an hour to get it perfect!” The white pony cried, trying to comb her hair with her hooves in an effort to smooth out the slightly ruffled mane. “Aw come on Rarity, at least we can have a GREAT big party for ‘Stopping-a-weird-and-mean-bully-that-doesn’t-like-surprises’!” Pinkie Pie threw out streamers from her mane and cheered on about random things. “I-Is it on too tight?” The butter-coloured Pegasus asked Applejack quietly. She knew that her friends would handle the human so she could help Applejack with that nasty wound. “No its just raight, thank yer kindly Flutters.” Fluttershy smiled sweetly. “So,” Rarity cooed lightly, “What should we do with the uh... Brute?” “We wait for Princess Celestia, but for now, we take him to the library and tie him up, we don’t want him moving a muscle.” She nodded once and glanced at the prone human to go retrieve the unconscious creature. Only to gasp loudly with pin prick eyes. Everypony's head looked at Twilight and followed her sight. The human that was bleeding from his nose and mouth supported his body against the tree. His hood was down, showing his sweaty brown hair and light tan skin for all to see. And a set of cold, fury filled eyes. “You think,” He growled angrily, “That little stunt will put me down, let alone kill me?!” “How?” Twilight struggled to find an answer, “How is he still moving?” “I fought this war for five years! I killed more ponies than I can count,” He pushed off the tree and slowly walked to the mane six, “I killed armies of hundreds to the elite forces. Nothing can stop me, not you,” His left hand ignited with plasma, “Not the royals,” His right hand soon followed, “Not Celestia,” The runes on his arm flared with life through his jacket, “NO ONE!” “Prepare to feel,” He threw his hands into the sky, “THE BLUE APOCALYPSE! MY NAME IS KYLAR HUNTER, AND THE HUMAN RACE WILL BE AVENGED! HE-RAH!” He screamed to the top of his lungs, throwing his hands down like a large bow. The sky lit with a bright flash, and down from the dark blankets of the sky, countless balls of plasma fell to the earth like shooting stars. It was a scarily, but enchanting sight to see. But the scary part: it was heading straight for the group with ferocious speeds. “Rarity, help me with the shield!” Twilight shouted quickly and igniting her horn with pink magic. Rarity didn’t need to be asked twice and assisted; They both knew that the explosion was going to be big and powerful, that it could reach the village. They could not allow this. But, oddly enough, Kylar was slowly making his way to the girls with a slight limp and the backpack on his back once again. Within seconds, the purple bubble-like shield popped up around the mares and the barn in the distance. Just in time too. The area soon became electrifying blue and quiet. Then. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33SrgAn7hao. Boom. The boom itself could be heard from the moon clear as daytime. The shockwave knocked all of the apples off the trees, broke off the already broken tree, flattened the grass and pushed Kylar a few feet backwards. The shield however held, but barely. It was flickering and fading when the plasma collided and the force of the explosion would travel through it easily. It would easily knock and disorientate them. But Kylar gave them credit; they are better than the guards he killed past and present. But, it’s more of a reason now to kill them so he can’t deal with them later. He knew that Twilight has a connection with Celestia, and what better way then— No. He rethought it over and something clicked in his head. What if he took the purple pony, told her everything about what happened and what Celestia did, and use her to get her friends to rebel, then the whole town and so forth. Introduce a little anarchy as the Joker would put it. Exploit the liars and watch as they are burned alive by the flames of the misled. He grinned wildly, watching as the two unicorns crumbled from exhaustion. The pink pony soon fell from the shock of the explosion, every newbie to explosions would. The rainbow one was barely standing, but Kylar quickly made his way and gave a swift kick to the chin, rendering her unconscious. He glanced at Fluttershy and Applejack with a bored stare. Applejack was out cold with a bloody nose and Fluttershy was a hair trigger away from for going down for the count. He crouched so she could look at him with tear streaked eyes. Such an innocent look that made him nearly pick her up and hold her, telling her that ‘it’s alright’. But he’s stronger than that; he couldn’t give into it, no matter how hard it was. But, for some reason, her face melted into a familiar face of a young girl that he saw during the war. He remembered that face all too well; She was in the same room as him when he found her by herself in America. The girl stayed up all night crying over her dead mother that was executed for punching a pony soldier. And he had to console her through the night. He remembered everything of her, blonde hair and sky blue eyes that matched his own. Her name was hard to forget: Tiffany. So, without thinking, he laid a soft hand on her cheek and silently say, “Sleep now young child. Do not think, feel the warmth and dream of a better time.” The face once again morphed into Fluttershys now peaceful face. He shook his head to rid of that weird memory and walked over to Twilight. But it was difficult. His whole body felt like lead and his body soon felt the battle fatigue. And he was tired. Oh so tired. He stared at the prone body of his leverage. “I’ll come back for you. I’ll let you and your friends live... For now.” He turned away, and as he walked to the edge of the forest, the rain began to fall. Kylar flicked his hood up and like that, disappeared into the dark forest. > BIG NEWS!!! MUST READ!! > -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey whats news peps?
