Herding was not common in Equestria, so Rainbow Dash was understandably surprised when she is invited to join a herd with her closest friends completely out of the blue. She did love her friends, but why does it feel like what she wants and what they want are two very different things.

When the stars aligned to give their power to the Queen of Nightmares, something else over rode that power, sending her to a far off world. Now in the hands of S.H.I.E.L.D., she has a choice. Join the Avengers, or be kept as a science experiment. Seeing the fame Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have, the choice is clear.

A pair of Ferengi merchants and part-time slave traders (any time they think they can get away with it) decide to pick up some people from the newly discovered world of Equestria - a world without local space travel. For variety, they decide to pick out one of each of the major groupings - a pegasus, and earth pony, a unicorn. For ease of control, they pick out juveniles.

The Cutie Mark Crusaders fit the bill perfectly.

Once upon a time, the Federation paid a visit to Equestria. The story of that visit - and some of its consequences - is detailed over here.

Partway through the tale (in chapter 15, to be exact) a Ferengi ship passing through space meets another ship. There were meta-narrative reasons for this, reasons why the author thought it would be necessary.

These reasons were promptly proven incorrect.

This, therefore, is the story of what would have happened, had the Ferengi ship not met anyone else on their way through space. It follows on directly from chapter 14 (Further Communication) of Equestria's First Warp Drive; I strongly recommend that you read the first fourteen chapters of that story first, and then return here.

This story is a sequel to Gordon Freeman's Side Trip To Equestria

What promised to be just another day filled with royal duties, politics and politicians, Princess Celestia instead find herself trapped by an unknown, briefcase carrying individual who sends her away to keep her from interfering with Gordon Freeman's story as he journeys across Equestria to find his trusted crowbar.

Of course, this story is not about Gordon Freeman, but Princess Celestia, and she's no longer in Equestria... except at the beginning of chapter one where she is sitting on her throne, waiting for this thing to get started while thinking about cake... Oh, right. Spoilers.

But taken away by this unknown and powerful being, Celestia now finds herself in a strange facility, with a stranger device, and an even stranger disembodied voice desperately trying to kill her. And during all of this, there is only one pressing matter on her mind, besides of finding a way back home: Is the cake truly a lie?

She's determined to find out.

If you've read the previous fic, you know what to expect. If not, go and read the previous fic first. Though it is not required to understand the story told.

Canterlot was her home for the first sixteen years of her life, and yet Twilight hardly ever talks about it with her friends. Now she's approaching her eighteenth birthday, and she still isn't talking. But above all of that is the fact that she remains a single mare, with seemingly no intention of finding a special somepony, either in Canterlot or in Ponyville.

Hearts and Hooves day is coming up, and Twilight isn't showing any interest.

Rarity decides enough is enough, and she's going to find out why.

Even if it changes everything she thought she knew about Twilight, the Princesses, and Equestria itself.

Rainbow Dash wants to help Scootaloo learn to fly, but the laws say she can't unless the squirts family agrees. Maybe twilight will be able to help.

Twilight Sparkle's coronation as the sole ruler of Equestria is right around the corner. To not disappoint her, Sunset Shimmer decides to come back to Equestria for the first time since her theft of the Princess's crown to attend.

Said Princess's student, Starlight, is there to greet her, but the two of them are surprised to find that Sunset is a princess herself - or at least an alicorn, and her arrival may have unintended consequences for a trio of recently imprisoned villains.

Sunset Shimmer's life was good, she had plenty of friends and greatly enjoyed where she had eventually ended up in life. It's a shame then that reality had a different opinion on where she belonged. Now stuck in the past prior to first leaving for the human world, Sunset will have to figure out what kind of direction she wants to take in life this time around.

After all, the future she herself lived with her friends was not reachable without doing things that she now found appalling. Even so, she knows that staying in Equestria could very well doom the world to a much darker future. If she had time to draft a plan she could probably figure out something that would keep herself out of the way while also not affecting the timeline, it's a shame then that the two princesses of Canterlot would just not leave her alone!

Apparently this thing got feature mere days after publishing... somehow.
