Excited for his first deployment, young marine LCpl. Kevin Brooke and his fellow squad mates of Bravo Company 2nd Battalion 1st Marines, begin their journey through the Pacific Ocean with the U.S. Navy carrier fleet. On their second day of voyage, they encounter a large floating crystal, ending in a swift and devastating battle.

After awakening in an unknown world, four ships (‘USS’ Anchorage, Princeton, Spruance & Michael Murphy) must adapt to a land filled with talking ponies while finding their way back home. However, during their stay, Queen Chrysalis rebuilds her army to take on her new enemies, and Brooke slowly unfolds the depths of a forgotten past.

The Royal sisters are preparing for what appears to be war with the Changelings, but unbenkownst to them, far across the lunar seas, a certain Western European nation was transported from our world to theirs. I've had my fair share of critics in my line of work. It's understandable—someone with the power to invoke fear in those he touches? Yeah, that's someone I want to watch over me and my children.

Some say he is just an urban legend. Others call him a ghost. Others still call him a heartless monster, living on nothing but rage, fear, and isolation.

But what is the real story behind "the Phantom Pony of Everfree"?

Fluttershy accidentally wanders into the territory of the pony everyone fears, and she is a witness to his cold, frightening fury. Scared to tears, Fluttershy is determined never to cross him again. But later, she witnesses something thought to be impossible, and deduces for herself that this "Phantom" is really a gentle, kind pony who merely suffers from the pain of loneliness. She then strives to learn the secrets behind this menace of a pony: who he is, why he lives in the woods, and why he is so angry.

The Phantom Pony, Nocturne, wants nothing to do with Fluttershy, and wants to avoid her at all costs. But his feelings toward her, and her friends, fluctuate over time, and he finds his mind and heart slowly changing. Whether for better or for worse, he is unsure, and he finds himself helpless against the kind light of a mare who may just know him better than he knows himself.

A rewrite of "Kind Light - A Gentle Dark Supplemental", combined with the rewrite of Chapter 1 of "The Gentle Dark".

Jack Harkens, Janet Williams, Alfred Hunt, Robert Jackson, 4 friends, who happened to also be magicians, and thought it a good idea to go to a convention as the 4 Horsemen. However, when they buy a set of the Horsemen's Tarot Cards, they get sent to Equestria and are caught up in a plot to dethrone the Diarchs. Luckily, the cards came with a computer full of insane magic tricks, and they met up with a struggling stage magician who can help them expose the guilty party. Time for a little Abracadabra.
