It started with an innocent enough request. Princess Celestia asks Prince Blueblood to host the Grand Galloping Gala this year. His life goes downhill from there.

The story begins shortly before the start of Season 4

After being given the short end of the stick by the Mane 6 once again, Spike wonders if he's worthy to be called their friend. When an unexpected visitor arrives, he decides to voice his opinions.

Just a one-shot I cooked up in my spare time. I always feel bad that Spike is constantly neglected or mistreated, even if he is the comic relief.

As with every living creature, once every year, Princess Celestia has a day that commemorates the anniversary of her birth. Given that she is blessed with many wonderful friends and family members, she receives many gifts on her birthday. Some she likes more than others, while some are rather odd.

On this one thousand seven hundred and nineteenth birthday of hers, she receives a large stuffed squid plushie.

She is perplexed.

King Arthur, recently crowned, isn't quite ready to sit down for his reign, so Merlin decides to take him on an adventure to a land called "Equestria"
Here he will find the drive to be king, and lead his subjects with a kind and pure heart.
