Eyeswirl the Weirded

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-hm?

Sequels1

T

Princess Luna has heard all about that sneering layabout, Blueblood, and means to make him into a more respectable pony! How? A princess worries not about small details! She'll start by seeing if he can be made to behave himself.

Will our hero be, well... Heroic? Stay tuned!

The story begins shortly before the start of Season 4

Not bad so far, this is a lot of fun. What a great take on Blueblood.

I'm enjoying every second of this.

Why didn't you make Luna as Bluey's granny like in the group forums?:raritydespair: Not that I mind of course.:raritywink:

Still, I always enjoy decent Bluebloods in most fics.

Oi, this is great fun :rainbowlaugh: Clueless Blue is best Blue!

And I guess he was bound to fail his first assignment, if what I suspect of Octavia is true.

I was hoping for a bit of Octavia/blueblood there but it was still funny.

cute.:scootangel:
At least this task turned out well for him.

Fleur is just so delightfully crazy in this chapter. Makes a person think that Twilight shouldn't have been so surprised at the general craziness of Ponyville if this is an example of how the ponies of Canterlot behave. On the other hand, it might just explain why she was such a shut-in at the beginning of the show.

And I wouldn't worry about the chat, it works for Fleur's personality here.

Blueblood remembered overhearing Twilight Sparkle talking about her friends in the times she stayed at the castle since her ascension to the rank of Princess, her Ali-coronation, as the guards had been calling it.

Guards that should never be allowed to officially name anything.

All he had to do, he was fairly certain, was keep Fluttershy calm and happy, the safety of Canterlot, perhaps Equestria as a whole, depended on it.

Probably true, to be honest.

Very good chapter following another good chapter. This story is very interesting.

Realy fun stuff. I like the "many short little tales" format.

the personalities for both Trixie and Blueblood work together very well here.

Heheheheheheheh!

Oh, Blueblood now in Ponyville, here to speculate or otherwise interfere...

Let the magic of divergence and friendship commence!!

Blueblood cant catch a break.

OH NOES!! Rarity ambush!! XD Or Redheart.

Hmn, those shattered bits of glass are Rarity's glass slipper, aren't they? Interesting hint towards were this story might be heading, and if so I approve.

Excitably nudist Celestia is fairly hilarious.

I also really like how Blueblood and Trixie’s personalities are bouncing off each other in this chapter, makes for something very fun to read.

From Shining to Vinyl to Blueblood, now there's an unusual chain.

Okay, that was just beautiful.

So that's how he survived? Figures. :pinkiehappy:

And a very interesting explanation for what Luna has been up to with him.

He looked at the lone, fluttering figure above the bruised pony for a moment, pupils shrunk to pinpricks.
It flapped towards him.
He ran.

Bwhahahahaha!

I love the interaction between Blueblood and Zecora, the rhyming was great.

Discord makes a good point about the song, I'm a little surprised Luna didn't mention it to Blueblood a couple chapters back when she he visited him in the hospital. Definitely something he'll need to help clear up, and probably sooner rather than later.

And soooo much teasing with the almost run-ins with Rarity. Well, almost run-ins while he was conscious, she's seen him plenty while he was out of it. I'm really curious about what she thinks of him at this point.

*mutters about thinking it to be a very awesome pun*

Blueblood as Daring Do's son? It makes an awfully compelling case. HMM.

Yes. A bother, and nothing more.

Quoth the toucan, "Nevermore."

Oh, this subplot was very enjoyable and utterly adorable. Also, I'm developing cavities from imagining Silver Spoon pirating around with Pip. The name Long Silver was a particularly nice touch to the piracy, I thought.

...wow. That was actually a decent twist that brought together all the unexplained past stuff. Very nicely done.

What a wonderful take on Silver Spoon's family, doubly so with the Pip connection at the end. And a great interpretation of Diamond Tiara, too.

"I'll Destroy you!!"

Hahahhahaha!

Figures that the train would go through Appaloosa.

Oh my, so that's what Blueblood got up to after the gala! And the reason for his bat pony issues! And the rose, and the tree! Talk about an excellent job of pulling the various separate bits of the story together for the ending.

That was good, I think I'll be following you to see what else you might come up with.

Mildly disappointed this didn't end up as a Blueblood x Rarity ship fic, but I suppose it was never tagged that way in the first place. At least they parted as friends.

Alrighty, I waited until I'd reached a good stopping point before posting chapters to have the maximum editing/refinement time, and, while that took months, overall response seems positive! :pinkiehappy:

Thank you all for the comments, feedback is helpful. I think I'll be doing it this way again for the next story, though it probably won't immediately be a sequel to this one.

This has been awesome! I'm super pumped for the sequel when it DOES come out.

Probably my favorite new story this month!

You made Blueblood sympathetic! How dare you!

I quite enjoyed it. Liked. Favorited. Followed.

Well, that was certainly enjoyable. Thank you.

I love good-Blueblood stories. Can't wait for more! Well, no. I can wait, it's just that I don't want to.

Remind me again, which of the princesses has the power to enter into and influence a pony's dreams? Luna, you troll! :rainbowlaugh:

After reading the "epilogue", why do I get the feeling that Blueblood's time with Rarity isn't the only thing he had wiped from his memories? I wonder if he wiped a teleportation spell from his memories too, given the number of times he's lamented not learning one.

This was pretty enjoyable. I like your portrayal of Blueblood: largely sympathetic, but with just enough annoyances that we don't forget just who we're dealing with here! The supporting characters were also nicely used (Silver Spoon in particular) and the writing is solid -- though you could maybe stand to use the phrase "pay no mind" a little less often. :P With a decent ending too, this is a Blueblood fic worth the read.

that was a fun reed, i am wounding what sort of story is going to follow up next to this, I especially like the part were Blueblood had decided to take-up a form of redemption quest for himself, not something overly dramatic just a string of events that lead him to do a lot of introspection and realizing that helping others is an end to it self, more or less. It was light ant funny

Luna, Dis and Blueblood in one fic? This should be fun.

Not that I've ever taken one of them up on their various... Offers, of course. Some might have called him a romantic, others an old-fashioned fool, but to Blueblood, it really seemed the sort of thing one should do only after marriage… Or, least until the couple were certain they loved one another deeply enough for the act to hold meaning. After all, his sister had surely waited until her wedding night to engage in such acts with her groom, no? If the Princess of Love can wait, why can’t everypony else?

I like this brief insight into Blueblood's mind. Also, this is a pretty entertaining chapter, not enough for me to be dying of laughter, but enough for a few chuckles.
