Twilight commissions a dress from Rarity. But it's Rarity and Twilight: there is no such thing as just buying a dress.

This story is a bomb.

Mares of many talents often find themselves in sticky situations. In Rarity's case, she must hold true to the promise she gave to Princess Twilight Sparkle. It never occurred to her that she may be required to forcibly defend her position as the princess' companion, but it's of little consequence. A promise is a promise, is it not?

Her life is going to change far more than she ever would have expected.

Sunset Shimmer would never break up with Marble Pie. Sure, the relationship could be going better—a lot better—but ending it would break Marble's heart. Only a really terrible person would do that, and Sunset is done being the bad guy.

Unfortunately, it looks like someone else has decided to be the bad guy for her.
