David is bored. His life had grown samey, his daily routine a never-changing cycle, and due to his studies, he has no time for change.

And yet, the unexpected has a tendency to rear its head. In this occurrence, it took the form of a -somewhat illogical- trip between dimensions. Following another boring day, David had woken up, not in his home, but in a faraway land, filled with strange creatures who call themselves “Ponies”.

And wait a minute, why does he have yellow wings?

And sorry Douglas Adams fans, but this story has nothing to do with any of his works; the title is but an homage.

Adam Inns has always been a simple man. For him, whiling his days away in a log cabin with a good book and a good view is a life well spent, no matter which planet he inhabits. But one day, after a misunderstanding with a Royal Guard gets Celestia involved, she decides to have a little fun at Adam's expense, and he suddenly finds himself as the proud owner and sovereign of a brand-new country, his to do with as he pleases.

However, the joke slowly finds a life of its own, as the poor and outcast find themselves on Inns' doorstep, with nowhere else to go and little reason to love Equestria. As the new state begins to grow into its own, Adam discovers that the calculus of rulership is not as forgiving as he once thought - and as the Equestrian system shudders under the weight of a thousand years of status quo coming to an abrupt end, his newfound convictions soon put him on a collision course with his friend, Celestia... a course neither may be willing to correct.

Can harmony and friendship really prevail against cold, hard realpolitik?

One night, whilst up late reading quietly to himself, Anon is disturbed by a mysterious home intruder scratching at his door. Anon does the unconventional and simply lets them into his house and becomes quite possibly the first person to ever sit down and make polite conversation with an actual ghost. A rather cute and flustered ghost at that.

Originally written for the Kinderquestria thread, where the cute, childlike innocence of ponies is taken to its absolute comedic extent.

A thousand years ago in Equestria, Luna's frustration and desperation has been building for years and years as her social and political isolation grows, but just before Luna's jealousy and resentment can turn into murderous hatred against her sister, a new event triggars Luna's mental collapse and pushes her over the edge. When Luna by circumstance finds herself alone in Celestia's room she reads her sister's diary out of curiosity and discovers all of the disparaging criticism that Celestia has leveled at her over the years about how much of a nuisance Luna has been to her, but has been too polite to say directly to Luna's face.

Luna and Celestia had always supported and stuck with each other all their lives. Even when the common-ponies critisism and shunning of her was at its worst, the knowledge that her sister loved her kept Luna going. The realization that nopony, not even her own sister valued her or thought she was fit for the throne completely shattered whatever remained of her fragile psyche.

And so Luna just gave up...

She gave in...

If no one wanted her there...

Then she wouldn't stay there...

She would leave.

This story is a sequel to When Times Collide

With Sunny and her friends now stuck in the era of Twilight Sparkle, the two heroes and their respective groups will have to work together in helping to prevent the three pony tribes from ever separating again. All the while, Sunny will be forced to witness the ponies she was told stories about, both the good times and the bad.

With the ponies from the future stuck in the past and the future of the world in question, can these two groups work together to prevent the same mistakes that caused Sunny's future in the first place; or is the hand of fate the one thing that even the magic of friendship can't stand up to?

Twilight, Sunny, and their friends are going to find out the hard way either way.

So while the Romance genre tag is not marked, it's not a main featured genre as this story is more focused on the action & drama that will come about having the Generation 5 ponies in Generation 4. After Twilight Sparkle convinced Starlight Glimmer to let the Rainboom happen and returning to the proper timeline, the time vortex mysteriously didn't close after swallowing up Starlight's modified spell, and what's more, more time vortexes were popping up all over Canterlot and Ponyville alike; one even popping up in the everfree forest itself as the earth itself began to shake.

Meanwhile, in the far-off future Sunny Starscout had gathered her friends, Sprout, and the leaders of the respective races to try and figure out the secrets of the merged crystal. While running tests, the crystal suddenly went critical and sucked all of the ponies across the globe into mysterious portals.

Things are about to get hectic for both sides as the two generations will suddenly find out what happens when their times collide.

The White Star Line remains today one of the most remembered shipping companies, for all the right and wrong reasons. Most notably, the sinking of the Titanic. What would happen if the Titanic sank but was transported to Equestria and no one knew that happened until it arrived in Manehattan two days later?

This is a Fallout: Equestria and Harry Potter Crossover, inspired by Harry Potter and the Crystal Empire for those curious.

What if, in the battle against Quirrel, Harry accidentally smashed the Philosopher's Stone on the man's head? What if this transported the entire school, along with all of the lands belonging to it, into the Post-Apocalyptic Wasteland of Equestria?
And what if all of the students, teachers and Ghosts got ponified in the process? Well, Harry has some other problems to boot, like figuring out what to do in this new world, and managing as both a Alicorn, a female at that, and one of six no less, as well as trying to keep the school and his friends safe.

This story is ostensibly a rewrite of The Boy who Disappeared... except that it's so far different I'm not sure it actually qualifies as a rewrite, so much as a whole new story.
