David is bored. His life had grown samey, his daily routine a never-changing cycle, and due to his studies, he has no time for change.

And yet, the unexpected has a tendency to rear its head. In this occurrence, it took the form of a -somewhat illogical- trip between dimensions. Following another boring day, David had woken up, not in his home, but in a faraway land, filled with strange creatures who call themselves “Ponies”.

And wait a minute, why does he have yellow wings?

Constructive criticism is appreciated!
Story is tagged teen just to be sure- there are only a few mild curse words.
And sorry Douglas Adams fans, but this story has nothing to do with any of his works; the title is but an homage.

Though it was Diacord there not gonna lie

Shy cussing would sound hilarious

That does mean, though, that I have to pass near the public restroom, which always excludes an unpleasant aroma.

The word should be exudes.

Now we were on our way to the nearby settlement, slowly nearing us; I could just barely see some colorful specs between the buildings.

Those tiny specs had grown into brightly colored beings, trotting, galloping, and flying around.

The word is specks. "Specs" is short for specifications.

I am glad to see that there isn't any of the usual nonsense of trying to hide that she is not who she seems to be.

Aww! I was hoping for a surprise ending, like the separation of Dave and Fluttershy works but not quite as expected. e.g. She gets her body back but finds herself looking at a copy of herself -- Flutterdave.

All I can say is, Unexpected

three months.

Worth it!

I may have to hire Dirk Gently to investigate. But how would he practice his Zen driving?
