I did not watch any part of the movie, but I have read bits and pieces here and there. I feel as though I have enough knowledge and information to write a little on it, so don't flame me too harshly if I mess something up.

Disaster has befallen Equus: Mysterious storms that have begun to drain the land of magic have appeared, and there is no end or solution in sight. Much of Equestria's population — those that could, at least — has retreated to the lands surrounding Canterlot, where a great magical barrier keeps them safe, if only barely. Ponies, griffons, and even changelings do what they can to eke out an existence when even the Princesses seem incapable of saving them.

Using the last of his rapidly diminishing magic, Discord creates dozens of small starships, and a small troop of changelings volunteers rise to the reaches of space in the hope that there may yet be help out there, even if there is none at home.

One of them, Flick, lands on a distant planet and pleads the case of Equus to the inhabitants.

On his way to Planet Namek to save his friends, Goku the strongest martial artist on earth gets sent to Equestria thanks to an unpredictable cosmic storm. Upon arrival, he meets the magically gifted creatures of this bright and colorful world. Tirek has stolen all the magic in the entire universe, and everything would be under his tyrannical rule forever...if it weren't for a certain Super Saiyan Blue that came to stop him, Goku.
Now, Goku must do battle with the strongest being to ever exist in this dimmension.
I think this should be obvious, but major spoilers for Dragon Ball Super, so if you aren't up to date with the show, you won't understand some things (oh, and p.s. this is going to be a lot more action involved than my other story, which is more about the journey to fight Tirek rather than the battle itself).

Nightmare Moon was indeed banished. Where to was another matter entirely. Through an unfortunate series of events poor wittle Woona ends up sealed away inside a young boy living on an entirely different rock. Then one fateful day, on the verge of death, the boy gets to meet his inner self. He certainly wasn't expecting a little blue horse intent on snuggling him the rest of the way to death.

With the ninja exams quickly approaching, the boy needs help. And the ever-helpful Woona knows exactly who to ask. Ponies of course, cause ponies are always nice and helpful! That's what big sister says! Now armed with the power of the pony summoning contract, the boy attempts to summon a pony able to teach him something, anything, other than the absolutely deadly 'death-by-snuggles' technique.
