E

Disaster has befallen Equus: Mysterious storms that have begun to drain the land of magic have appeared, and there is no end or solution in sight. Much of Equestria's population — those that could, at least — has retreated to the lands surrounding Canterlot, where a great magical barrier keeps them safe, if only barely. Ponies, griffons, and even changelings do what they can to eke out an existence when even the Princesses seem incapable of saving them.

Using the last of his rapidly diminishing magic, Discord creates dozens of small starships, and a small troop of changelings volunteers rise to the reaches of space in the hope that there may yet be help out there, even if there is none at home.

One of them, Flick, lands on a distant planet and pleads the case of Equus to the inhabitants.

Hah! Can't believe I guessed the alien race right after only the start of the description.

Too bad it wasn't Guru

I'm glad to hear you liked it. At least, you seem to have enjoyed it, so there is that!

I think that if the mood strikes me, I can get two more chapters out of this. You know, if the mood strikes me, so I promise nothing.

Yeah, it was enjoyable. Not too bad as a monologue piece.

If we can have a little more... yeah, go for it.

Who else do we know that found wonderful friends in the world's darkest hour?

Great stuff here so far. Looking forward to more. May inspiration guide you. Be well.

I'm kicking the idea of a sequel around, but I have a few other projects I need to work on first.

This was excellent. The first two chapters were good, but this last one really made the story shine with the sweet but sad feeling the setup really demanded.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I gave some thoughts if I decide to revisit this canon again.

A simple but effective feel-good story about an emotion-eating insect traveling to a planet of slug people so their dragon god can help end the apocalypse.

You know, simple. Thank you for it. And kudos for writing a DBZ crossover where no one ever so much as throws a punch. I didn't think that was even possible.

If there is only one thing I have learned from Son Wukong, it is that you will always encounter obstacles in your journey, and the only way to overcome them is to train your writing until it is strong enough to surpass even the woodiest of blocks.

Or, you know... something.
