Just as a fyi, this story is right after season 5 episode 1-2. So in short, the princesses go to Earth to find a hero, all they saw was zombies and dead things, nothing alive until he saves their lives.

Equestria is an old nation, and one that has had the luxury of the same, immortal, regime for centuries. While this has given them unprecedent stability, especially in a land that seeks to throw a world-ending threat at them every other Tuesday, it does come with a tendency for the rulers to not so much repeal laws as just ignore them and act as if they've been done away with already.

Most of the time, this works out just fine. Until another immortal--such as, say, a starving royal changeling looking for somepony to help her regain her strength--remembers these laws and invokes them to use to their own advantage. While attempting to capture a rogue leader with ties to Russian Ultranationalist rebels, Lieutenant Alberto Vasquez and Sergeant Paul Jackson are ordered to evacuate the city of Basrah before their quarry's forces detonate a stolen nuke. But the warning comes too late and the device explodes, sending their Sea Knight transport spinning out of control and the pair of Marines plummeting to their deaths.

Certain they are dead, the pair come to in a strange new place, a lush land filled with wonderous and sometimes deadly creatures. A place where magic exists, where dragons are real, and the natives are four-legged... and place a surprisingly high premium on friendship. Making their way through this unfamiliar world full of wonder and danger, they soon find they aren't the only things that crossed over. So too did some friends. But so too did the rebels, and the pair soon find that their war has followed them to Equestria and the Call of Duty never ends...

Batman hunts for one of his feared enemies so he could bring him to justice in Gotham City. However, he enters a place that unexpectedly transports him in an unknown world of which he has no clue what it is. While he struggles to complete his mission, an evil rises up in Equestria that would require not only his tactics, strength, and resources but also the assistance of the ponies. How will the Dark Knight react to them for who they are? Will they accept this dark being who is somewhat unlike them? Will they understand him? The more the Caped Crusader associates with them, the more he’ll realize that it will be like Gotham all over again.

Note: This happens after the events of Batman Begins and the season 3 premiere. This also takes place during season 3 of MLP: FIM.
