Prologue

Portal... too strong…

And again, here I go, through a wormhole to another world. Ash reflects on his past, with a dead stare contemplating the bright colors of the portal.

The thing is... All I wanted is to spend a good weekend with my girlfriend, Linda. But instead, I got this. I get sent to different dimensions, worlds, planets, etcetera-etcetera. Just because some random lunatic will summon me to do their dirty work.

That book, that damn book. It appears to exists 'literally' everywhere. You mean to say what book? Well, let me give you a small introduction.

The Necronomicon Ex-mortis. A book made off human flesh (or watever that world has) and written in blood. Which contains encantations, spells, rituals, summons, opens time vortexes, you name it. The book has everything your heart may desire.

And you know what? There's a spell to invoke me. I've tried everything to get rid of the book; burn it, destroy it, throw it into the sea. But nothing works. There are other worlds where the book exists.

My only joy is kicking ass. Someday... I will break free...
