The human warrior and the evil king

It seemed all was lost...
The day was dark. The festival, once lively and filled with cheer, was now quiet. The alicorn sisters, Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, had been enveloped in a cloud of dark smoke. Their voices had been cut off before anything could said.

The smirking unicorn with the broken horn found her victory interrupted, however, as a flare of pure white energy broke through the cloud of smoke, revealing three figures. The two princesses stood shocked but unharmed, their gazes locked on a biped that was the source of this overwhelmingly powerful energy.

The slicked back dark brown mane was all they could find on it in terms of hair aside from the stubble on it's chin, marking it as male. His muscular physique could put every minotaur in the world to shame. A purple gi covered his body, a gray vest being worn over his top. A scowl was settled on his face, dark brown eyes piercing confused blues.

Then, without warning, he dissapeared. Without warning, he was gone, appearing once more in front of a storm creature, flicking it's forehead and watching as it rocketed back, throwing aside it's brethren as it crashed through the hull of a ship. He dissapeared again, repeating this as he quickly and methodically took out every storm soldier that had set foot on the cobblestone streets.

With a jolt of fear, Tempest Shadow found the creature standing in front of her, his gaze locked on hers as he held a flick back before her horn. "You will take me to this Storm King. In exchange, I will spare your life." His voice rumbled with a controlled rage.

The mare stood frozen, terror written across her face as the creature stood before her. She nodded fearfully, unable to do much more than that.

"Good." He nodded, pulling back his claw. "We will be bringing any who wishes to come with us, and your troops and carriers will follow us back. Any attempts made at communication will find you unconcious, bound, and gagged. Any attempts at murder will be met with death in kind. Any attempts at bodily harm will be met with bodily harm in kind." He growled as he laid out the terms. "On our way there, we will discuss what you have done and why."

It didn't take long for the storm beasts to gather their kin, both living and not. Nor did it take long for the hole in the hull to be patched properly, and passengers to be gathered and prepared for travel. Among them were the three princesses, a group of guardsponies, and the other five element bearers. They had questions for the biped, and on the relatively short trip, he answered what he could.

He did not know how he had gotten to Equestria, but he was glad he did when he did. He explained his role as a defender of his home planet where he had come from, and what the mysterious power was that he wielded. A certain purple smart was met with a humor filled response and as many answers as could be given by the now named human Ryori.

Upon arrival at the Storm King's castle, Ryori had flown down to meet him face to face. They had a witty back and forth, Ryori becoming angry at the Storm King's goading. His senses told him this one held true evil within his heart, and the actions of the beast agreed. Without hesitation, he powered up, the pure white form of Mystic skyrocketing him to full power as he launched himself at the Storm King.

He barely had time to react, a ditch being dug with his body as defensive spell after defensive spell activated to protect him. He crawled out of the rubble relatively unharmed save for a broken nose. Pulling out one of the crystal bombs Tempest herself had thrown just earlier, he drew back to throw it at him. "You die today, ape!"

Ryori took a stance, charging ki in between his hands. "Piercing...." The Storm King drew his arm back. "Ki...." As if in slow motion, his arm moved forward, the bottle leaving his hand. "LANCE!" The beam of ki shattered the artifact mere inches from the Storm King, shattering and engulfing him as the beam lit the sky and pierced the cloud of smoke, destroying the now statue of the Storm King, vaporizing it with the sheer raw power of the technique.

As the beam faded and the sky lit up once again to reveal nothing left of him, every creature that paid witness to the event stood in awe. Ryori floated back up to the ship, landing on the deck. "I gave Tempest my forgiveness, for her heart holds a kernel of good. I held back against the storm beasts, for they have been brain washed to follow orders. I did not hold back nearly as much against the Storm King, for his heart held only pure darkness. He would kill, steal, and destroy to benefit himself. He would harm innocents and order the capture of a kingdom's leaders. That is unforgivable."

Tempest stammered, speaking up. "B-but my horn..."
He glanced over. "Your horn can be healed. Where I come from, technology has advanced to the point of cloning living beings and healing people in less than hours from near unrecoverable. Magic, I have seen, has been capable of bringing forth new life and reviving the dead." He smiles cheekily. "And I have a Senzu." He pulls out a light green bean, much to everyones confusion.

As our hero explained what he was talking about, the soldiers of Equestria did their duty of securing the rest of the castle. There was very little resistance, and any that was found was quickly squashed.

Ryori agreed to train a select few, later including Tempest, in the use of ki for the defense of Equestria. It would take a year before they could begin sparring with the man, and a few more after to learn everything he had to teach them. Through experimentation by those with magic, it was learned they could mix magic and ki to increase their power by a massive amount, transformations becoming even stronger as a result. Equestria would be in a very good place when the evils of the universe came knocking on it's door thanks to the one named Ryori Sukiretto, self proclaimed master chef, and defender of Earth and Equus.

End.
