Brace down and buckle up as you are taken along on the wicked rollercoaster ride that is Vinyl's life. Stand beside her as she first learns of her talents as a musician. Hold her hoof as she braves whatever life throws at her while buskering on the streets of Manehatten. Cry with her as she faces old fears and overcomes new ones. Cheer and revel in her marriage and success. Laugh wholeheartedly at her comedic small mistakes and happenstances.

Most importantly however, understand the rocky and twisted road that shaped the DJ we have all come to know and love.

Vinyl Scratch is always up for a good party! But when she partys a bit too hard, even for her standards, she wakes up in a mysterious place with no memories of how she got there, and only the soft sound of Fur Elise to greet her listening ears.

Octavia is sick of playing under-appreciated classical music to crowds of only a few dozen, so she switches up her format to become a top-40 pop musician and appeal to the masses.

Vinyl Scratch is not a thoughtful pony by nature. Rather, she is boisterous, obnoxious, and rude. In the past couple months of her and Octavia's relationship, Vinyl's manners have doubled, and her smiles have increased tenfold. And then, in one moment, almost faster than the blink of an eye, it all comes crashing down around her head. Vinyl is reduced to a sniveling, drinking mess, and she decides that now is the time to do something about it.

My first story on the site! Yeah, I know, you have all probably read something like this note many-a-time... so leave some thoughts, criticism and advice, and I'll try to get the rest of this up as fast as I can!

The first time I saw her eyes, they struck a chord within my soul. One that I have never experienced before. It was like I was coming alive for the first time.

But it was only a glimpse, and then she was gone. I am not going to let this go, though. I will discover who she is, why she is here... and why fate almost brought us together.

My name is Octavia, and I will stop at nothing to find her.
